Yep. Among most reptiles they do standout, being pretty much entirely herbivorous. I love them for it because it is much less of a hassle unlike others where you have to acquire insects for them or even entire critters like mice.
From all the good sources I have read about uromastyx the minimum enclosure is a 4x2x2. I'm actually upgrading my year old cbb ornate to a 6x3x2 soon. Mine uses every bit of their enclosure. I went with a uro because I don't want to deal with bugs. Even though they don't like to be held I still love them.
So, from a diet standpoint, Uros are effectively reptilian rabbits. PRetty cool.
Kind of!😂

Yes I’ve heard that too! 4x2x2 is definitely better! I was just going off of the two lizard lengths long and one lizard length wide “rule.”
My Uromastyx loves Timothy hay. Look for it at pet stores , usually in the small animal section.
Yep. Musa is hit or miss with Timothy hay😂

@everyone Please don't do 40 gallons for your enclosure :( Minimum is the same as a beardy as far as I've seen. And that's the minimum!
I like uros better
They definitely are amazing!
