Beadwindow07 first off, his money comes from his tv work. Ever heard of Seinfeld? Second, why should he give his money away due to something his ancestor may have done (I have not seen this video and therefore can't say this is true or not)? Is he a slavemaster? Is he a bigot? Why does he owe anyone anything?
I have an uncle in NYC, and I swear he's just like this guy. The fixation on stupid things, the neurotic humor, the helplessness when confronted with something as simple as a credit card swipe reader. He's hands down the worst driver I've ever seen, he lives in the city so I don't even know why he has a car. He talks really loud. Larry David is a comedy genius but a lot of his personality traits are common in NYC.
I might have to move to one of those neighborhoods someday. Years ago, I had a horrible, soul-sucking telemarketing job, and I had to call people from all over the country for follow-up interviews to the rip-off marketing scheme the company had already put them through. Most people were pretty dull, a lot of them hostile or disiniterested, but one lady made an impression I never forgot. Her voice and mannerisms reminded me of George Costanza's mother, and she had me in stitches throughout the interview. At the end, I asked her the scripted question: "Would you be interested in participating in another survey in the future," to which she replied, "Ugh...I could die." I've tried once or twice over the years to fit that expression into conversations, but I just don't have the magic.
your comment made me laugh...thats probably me when I get older....hell, the "helplessness" uover easy things hits me when im under pressure right now...LMAO
@2:40 onward, I could totally see that conversation happening between George and Jerry. "I couldn't swipe it, Jerry. I couldn't SWIPE IT!" (Kramer barges in) "So George, I heard about your little meltdown at the parking garage". "Gah! I couldn't swipe it!"
I love Larry David!! He is the common man in all of us. He is the one that screams, "YOU FUCKING IDIOT!!" When we dare not admit that our thoughts turn that way. But they do. And we are. We are all Larry David, and it's only a matter of how much we allow ourselves to accept our true nature.
He really comes across as an average guy, wearing the bland outfits driving normal cars and caring about a $5 ticket even though he's a multi gazillionaire haha
+pontiac2 Most people would want what was promised. But the main thing for Larry was most certainly simply wanting to get out of there with no fuss, which would have meant the attendant (whom he was trying to talk to) simply lifting the gate.
I would have waited in line for an hour if I had Larry David in front of me having this happen to him. I could have had a child being born at a local hospital and be on the way to it, and be held up by this, and still be just happy to sit and watch this rather than make it to the birth.
+Jason White For the imbeciles in TMZ this is a national issue deserving to be in the news. They just need to ruin anyone's reputation for their ratings.
stonerminmcjoe Yep, and I'd lick them day and night. lol Idk, I've always been attracted to older men. I'm not licking anything right now because I've been single for a few years, but if my future husband is "mature" I would hum him the greatest love song ever. Larry David has Hutzpa and he's practical, but I find he lacks moral boundaries or discretion. I like a man with standards and convictions; he can be too perverse for my taste.
Goober Fries I guess I can relate.. I've always had a bit of a thing for older women, not quite that old but you know lol... I'm only 22 but my generation is mostly disrespectful fuck heads who don't even know how to socialize with each other, I've always gotten along better with the older generation like 30's and 40's. If I met the right woman I doubt an age barrier would stop me. xD

Another Seinfeld show-esque vocab word! I love it- hearing him recount this story, you can totally tell where so much of the Seinfeld script came from. "I'm not a good swiper!"

it comforts me so much knowing you´re actually that guy
@PoonkAmi I've been in the danger zone
PoonkAmi 🤣
He has said that “TV Larry” is just him with a lack of a filter
I don't like Seinfeld, but Larry David is awesome.

So was Seinfeld
He's the genius behind Seinfeld.
Jerry: "Just pay the five dollars."
George: "They said two hours are for free, Jerry! TWO HOURS!"

Pure Seinfeld.

It would go down more like:
I'm not a good swiper.
Not a good swiper?
I never swipe.
Who doesnt swipe?
No swipe!
I like how Larry David always wears the exact same outfit
likeriver Always those same fucking jackets, and sneakers/tennis shoes.

I just recently learned he's basically a billionaire (worth $900k+) and that makes his personality so much more interesting.

They're both correct.

That's gold, Rinraiden, GOLD!
