I’m in the middle of a Larry David UA-cam binge, and coming across this video in comparison to newer interviews shows just how far both LD and Conan have evolved. This is still funny, but in the newer ones both guys are so much more comfortable and natural with their delivery, as well as at transitioning through the conversation. I think I noticed it with Conan more over the years, but this is a really show of Larry becoming an even better interviewee over time.
I see this is from a year ago, but I would check out the latest Conan/Larry TeamCoco podcasts they are hilarious.

I feel like curb didn’t really catch on until sometime during its hiatus when it was off the air from like 2011 - 2017. I can remember always seeing memes and small clips about it during that time being spread around on social media and reddit. Then I finally got around to watching it all for the first time back in 2014. Easily one of the funniest shows ever made, to me it eclipses Seinfeld.

Larry David is like the Dave Grohl of comedy. He was on one of the most influential, successful projects in the 90s and then he goes out on his own later and has another iconic project. In my opinion, Curb is even better because it’s just Larry with none of Jerry Seinfeld’s arrogance.
Phil Silvers as Sgt.Bilko in The Phil Silvers Show that ran from the mid to late 1950s and predated Larry as the bald star of a half hour sitcom. Silvers was a tremendous character actor and the show was funny and had a great ensemble cast. Curb’s my fave comedy of all time but Sgt. Bilko is easily one of my all time faves as well. Pretty certain I heard “Lar” mention sometime before his fondness for “Bilko” and the Silvers show.

The way Larry David always looked like a 70 year old guy, yet always talked about "dating" and sexual stuff as normal and only since a couple of years about him "getting old" and others perceiving it... (There might literally be a video from just 2018 or so where he talks about people starting to look at him as an old and not super-sexual guy...)
Hope he was able to discuss bras intelligently, maybe he took a look at a few bras. . . I'm not saying go to the library and learn the whole history, but it wouldn't hurt him to know a little bit.
