When you did that second hamstring exercise with feet separated, man I could really feel myself immediately get more flexibility. Thank you so much for all that you share on here. You should do a donate option!❤
that was me! i was 12 when i started ballet. now it's a year later, i'm 13, in my second year of dance (i added lyrical, contemporary and jazz) n it's intimidating? when 3 yr olds are better than you. but it gets better bro! just practice tons. i'm even considering trying out for my highschool's dance team next year. (i'm not gonna make it cough cough) you got it n you'll get there
For the floor stretches, It’s a lot easier to start in butterfly with your band, place it flat against your lower back, hook feet into band one at a time (still in butterfly), hold onto band by your feet, then stretch one leg out at a time. No awkward twisting and wrapping. Also it’s safer for young dancers to hold onto the band during stretches to ensure they have control and it won’t snap back on them 😊 Love the arabesque stretches ❤️
I have really bad knee flexibility - I have my whole life. Even doing gymnastics I could barely touch my toes. I know this may be hard to do but if you could do a video on exercises to help with straight legs and knee flexibility etc. that would be awesome

I dont have insta but i soo badly want to be flexible my parents r not supporting me thats why i want the band and i live in saudi so these kind of things r very hard to find
You don't need the band to be flexible, I always stretch without anything and I can do splits on both sides, middle splits and bow and arrow. All you need is dedication and some good stretches. Also look up Anna mcnulty's channel and Alivia d'Andrea. They both helped me a lot. I hope you achieve your goals!

Do you have any tips on improving flexibility for those of us who literally can't get our legs past 90 degrees or move our back forward more than 90 degrees? I feel like I get discouraged a lot because of how much flexibility I lost since the last time I was dancing (it's been 10 years and I haven't kept up with it AT ALL) and I don't really have any way of telling if my back is straight or bending cause I don't have a mirror to look at myself in. I also have injured wrists and back from my labor jobs, so I find it difficult to stretch and now that I'm working longer hours I have less time too. I'm so sorry for this whole post. I'm just really struggling with staying motivated and seeing progress when I do actually stretch. How often should we be stretching and for how long? Everyone's bodies are different, but when should I start seeing results if I do it every day? Anyway, this post is long and sad and I'm sorry, but thank you for your videos. They're really helpful anyway.

Keep stretching for it, all the time. This will allow your muscles to relax into the stretch. Also, you might want to try for a slight oversplit.

A much easier way to get into the band is to start in a butterfly! Put it behind your back and then wrap each end around your arches
