Yeah, FC4 was a snore fest, FC Primal was extremely lame and I didn't even try FC5 and I'm not going to. Nothing new, same old shyte. FC2 and FC3 were the best in my opinion as FC2 was a huge improvement on FC and FC3 was a bigger improvement still. They stuck with the FC3 formula since 2012 now and it's getting boring.
I would love a Far Cry: Secundar, a story during the building of pyramids, but survival type, and not COD type. However, I would welcome more a different game, like Far Cry rpg type in outer space. They could totally make it, but hard to say how successfull they would be.
It was time for Far Cry to take a break after FC 3. That was the last time the game has truly changed. From FC 1's cheesy dialogue and terrible shooting to roaming through Africa fighting against bush fires and malaria in FC 2 with its degrading weapons to the excellent FC 3 with its great villain, cool gun play, and - for the time - more or less innovative open world gameplay. The problem was when they simply repeated the FC 3 formula in FC 4...and then in FC 5...and now FC ND. But they made all those things that weren't super fun about FC 3 (the grindy aspect) even more irritating over the years. There's barely anything new here. You could recreate those games in the FC 3 engine with some modding and have a similar experience. And, well, then there was FC P...which was basically the same again, only without actually understandable voice acting and without guns. It's just like AC and any other Ubisoft game...stick to the same formula and wait till people are so fed up with your rehashed content that you basically HAVE to do something different the next time. But AC is already back on track to being the repetitive thing it was before...just now with different mechanics.

@@maskedvalerian1095 I dont even know what child of light is. That must be one of there lesser known games? I kind of disagree. I liked for honor, siege, origins, oddysey, and division quite a bit. Less siege though. I haven't played far cry before it always looked kind of boring to me.
Bullet sponges shouldn't exist in a somewhat realistic shooting game. Totally kills the immersion having to put 100s of rounds in a dude head and only have taken down a quarter of his health.
I don't care what others say but this is my favorite Far Cry of all time, spent 68 hours on this and haven't even made progress to other areas. Just mesmerized by the graphics, setting and all sorts of things. They actually fix the problem when an outpost is cleared and there are no enemies left to deal with by incorporating some grinding elements so the world is not that barren like the previous Far Cry. Overall 9.5/10 from me
AGAIN, Joseph himself didn’t nuke Hopy County. He literally foresaw the end of the world. I see very many reviewers getting that wrong, and i don’t know where they’re getting it from.
Agreed they didn't really take the time to understand the story you kept getting hints throughout the game people kept telling you ."have you ever considered that Joseph seed may be right" and it turns out in the end he was right the apocalypse was coming he didn't cause it.
All games are designed to be inoffensive doofus... but hopping on a hate train sure is fun. Hell far cry 5 had more controversial subject material than just about any game in recent memory
Just feels like Far Cry is dead, Primal was the only unique one that may be the best Stone Age game ever made idk.. I really enjoyed it and as did Karak
We need to maximise market penetration and turn the players into payers. Substance and soul gets in the way of all that, friendo. Praise be to divine shareholders, may they reign eternal!
Seems like something that should have been released with the Season Pass. Then again, this is TRUE DLC, content made after the launch of the game, whereas, the Season Pass DLC was on the disk waiting behind a pay wall. Kind of funny how that works now a days huh.

Im on the fence for new dawn, but holy shit if its new dawn or rage 2 for you, RAGE 2 ALL THE WAY NO CONTEST. You can tell itll be similar to doom, a tier above new dawn
Metro Exodus comes out the same day as Far Cry New Dawn, the 15th, that’s tomorrow. No competition I’ll be getting Metro and it’s clearly the better post apocalyptic game. I Loved Metro 2033 and Last Light, I’m really looking forward to playing Exodus.

3 big problems; 1. Its an apocalypse with no apocalyptic landscape. 2. Damage number Bullet sponges in FarCry? 3. Its another FarCry game which strays from FarCry 3s godly light.
Far Cry 3 is not godly by any means There was literally no driving force in the story and the two main villains were bitchy pirates College kids sky dive into lands they shouldn’t tread and one of them just so happens to be some Rambo pumped hardass with an itch to kill? Please
What is so good about Far Cry 3? Everyone says Vaas is the best, but you kill Vaas a little over a third of the way through the story. People don’t even remember Hoyt really. Citra is fine, but does not really show how she is a warrior, despite being leader of the Rakyat. It was a game that had you climbing radio towers, which was boring then as it was in Far Cry 4. The map was not really that great in terms of exploration, partly because it was divided through the center. It is island, with a few ruins and shack towns. The only reason Far Cry 3 gets praise is because of its story and its UI/upgrade systems.
I don't like the whole bullet spongey "RPG" thing that Ubisoft has been doing. It's just a bullshit excuse to make their games more grindy so that they can essentially bully the player into buying microtransactions. It's a shame because I actually liked Far Cry 5 and was sort of looking forward to this.
Played a bit of farcry 5 because I heard everyone saying it was different than all the other ones. Ha what a fucking Joke go to generic base #452 kill everyone there base liberated. Rince and repeat its like I'm fucking working when I play a Ubisoft game.
Hey bitch, microtransactions are optional, call of duty is the only company that bullies and forces you to buy the microtransactions, everyone else calls it optional!!!
Hey even Battlefield 5 from EA has all maps and weapon DLC completely free Ubisoft charges for DLC season pass and puts consemtic Microtransactions for a mainly single player game.
I actually got ending without the Nuke. My ending had me driving off just to have that possession song come over the radio, which, obviously, had me kill everyone in the car, I assume.
Austin J farcry 3 was amazing and felt new enough from farcry 2. Farcry 4cand 5 was a complete rehash it was retarded. Get a new engine, new animations conplwtely, a good character with dialogue, new mechanics.

Good review, but how people can be ok with going to generic base#452 and liberating for the rebels for 8 straight years is beyond me. I played 3 and loved it then I played farcry 4 and had to push myself to finish it because it's the EXACT SAME GAME. I've never made that mistake again, and after watching the gameplay of each following title I'm extremely glad I saved my money.
Watching some of the trailers for it too "With the new farcry there's a whole new approach to competing objectives look here as we show you how you can take over this base by going in stealthy and aslo you can go in guns blazing as well." do you think I have Alzheimer's Ubisoft? We've been doing this same shit for years.
Dude, I dont know if you read this ACG but there is a UA-camr called SolidSpawn who is stealing your style and format and passing it off as his own. You should report him to the higher ups. Just letting you know as I like your stuff.
My biggest frustration with the original FC5 is that the game would never leave you alone. If you're out in the wilderness in a quiet area for more than five seconds, enemies will spawn nearby (either they'll drive past, or an enemy aircraft will randomly appear overhead and will somehow manage to always see you no matter how dense the cover around you). I felt that was the weakest part of the original game. Has that been addressed/tweaked at all in New Dawn?
YES.That seems to be reduced a lot..but some lone bastard keeps stealing my vehicles! When I go 50 metres from it, I know it's a freindly Npc most the time. Seem to get more wild animal attacks than patrolling soldiers. In farcry 5 would get lots of attention after destroying a vehicle at an intersection and end up with 10 burnt out vehicles blocking the road in the next 10 minutes. Annoying it is. Uses all your ammo when your on your way to do something else. They reduced this in new dawn. Allrhiugh I only played 3-4 hours so far. So far there I seem to see soldiers roaming, before they see me (except for wild animal surprises which are sudden) less road patrols, road presence is mainly random fuel/prisoner transports.
Apparently I'm in the minority in this comments section at least. I thoroughly enjoyed Far Cry 5. So much so that I plat'd the PS4 version and actually just finished it on XB1 in time for this release. I'm only a few hours into this but I really like it.
Ubisoft could’ve just named this “Far Cry Environmental Pack DLC” because this looks extremely recycled or reskinned lol. This shouldn’t be a standalone AAA game at all.
@@TheKueiJin Every game world they did so far was at least enjoyable, most were good. So I doubt that this would destroy the setting. It would have definitely quite a lot of potential. After all there were a lot of huge battles and the country was unified. In general quite an interesting period with lots of important political developments and also the arrival of guns.
I just purchased the Farcry bundle off steam for $50. It came with every farcry game except 6, which I have on ps4. I've always been a fan if the series, with primal being my favorite. Nearly $250 worth of games for $50 is definitely a steal
Oh and thing that people usually do not get is that plants grow back actually pretty quick after nuclear explosion, also radiation is much smaller problem with bomb than some old reactor exploding.
conkerlive101 I liked Far cry 5 but I think the next Far Cry game should of been four or five years in development look at Far Cry 3 for example that game took awhile to make and Vas was amazing
@@mitchell3725 you can have a great villain but if your gameplay is just as generic as always the games gonna suck. Farcry 3 was amazing because it was unique and never been done before but they haven't changed that formula once in 8 years.
8-10 fricken hours??? Are you kidding! That is rediculous considering the price point and dumbass microtransactions... Not to mention the amount effort and money that went into advertising this. The unchecked greed in the gaming industry nowadays is just sickening to me! Thanks for the great video bro!
Now i'm curious if it has 3 shitty endings that mock you for playing violent Videogames, with the best ending being the one where you don't play the game.....
Ubisoft is so far up it’s own ass with those messages about violence, and they think they’re so clever for it. Spec Ops already did all this and in a much better way.
One of the things I really liked when playing this is the Arua Borealis in the night sky. I also really liked the lowered population, it made it feel like a good number of people had died.
I've been watching the same catch grass on fire animation for 11 years and 5 games. Where is the evolution? Should be able to burn buildings down by now.
GPS probably would work in a postapocalyptic world. It is based on satellites which are in high earth orbit around 20000km up, so they would be unaffected by nuclear blasts and can power themselves basically forever.
I loved far cry 5 so I like new dawn. Simple as that. It's nothing amazing but at $40 it's fun and worth it to me. It holds us over until Far Cry 6. People pay more for worse. I'm happy with it.
I really like this game. They made a lot of improvement to the AI and made bases overall harder. The missions are harder for the most part too. I read this game was shorter than FC5 and maybe from a mission standpoint but you can retake bases at least 3 times. I like the scavenger aspect more as well. You have to scavenge to find items to make your explosives and med kits. You can't just buy them. Still overall I liked FC5 better with what I thought was the best maps, stories, and villians.
Loved FC3 and then I kind of lost interest in the series. I played FC4 but I couldn't get into it, I skipped FC5 as it looked boring and I'm definitely skipping this pink turd.
@Java Monsoon The person is only making a point that the game is redundant and mundane - as is the series for quite awhile now. You don't have to flex your video game resume to make a point. It makes you seem reductive and pretentious. I'm sure that the person won't be buying the game so saying "don't buy it, vote with your wallet" is unnecessary. You've clearly played a lot of things, sure. You're also fine with repetitive titles, sure. You could have just said, "You know what? I'm of the opposing side whom are fine with how the current Far Cry series is. I'll be sure to enjoy this." But to be honest, kudos to you for playing a lot of different genres. Many people stick to their one of two. It's nice to see those who venture into many things.
@@tooblind1731 Your statement 100%. No one seems to be able to casually or constructively disagree anymore. EDIT: Saying "no one" is a bit overdramatic, more like "not many".
@Java Monsoon To be honest I already knew you were going to argue against me using the word repetitve. As with any hobby or anything in general - that word can be thrown all over loosely. My personal qualm with Far Cry or with Ubisoft in general, is that they really are pushing open world games out. That being barren open world games that barely differ from one another aside from theme. The thing about repetition is good game play loop. I too would argue against repetition (I suppose you can somewhat consider me a hypocrite) because I love the hell out of Killing Floor 2 and the EDF series. Hundreds nearing thousands of hours in both. And once you get to that point the only difference is guns or mods. So, essentially it comes down to what is worth it. We've been seeing this kind of Far Cry for many many years now with barely any changes. Then the first big change we see is a lite rpg touch to it. I personally don't mind if they change it drastically. Like what happened to the Zelda series with Breath of the Wild. I would need something bigger than just a bland story, edgy theme, and different guns/characters that essentially the same as before. You make a point about iterations basically having quality of life changes. While I'd agree - the game series I personally play don't just have that. An example of a series of love would be the Yakuza series. There's a bunch more than fixing the jank in that. Also I have dabbled being a trucker and spin tires so I can understand that. I would even argue those games have much more redeeming qualities than this Far Cry, ha. Dry joke aside, I get it. There are gamers who whine too much when changes are made or when there isn't change. Those people aside - it still doesn't change the fact that Far Cry has yet to change in a meaningful way to earn its iteration. More of the same is fine but it can't literally be more of the same, if that makes sense. Appreciate the civil reply nonetheless.
The main reason I loved new dawn was because the fact that could recognize things from the previous game and as someone who gets attached it was very nice
The irony is that Metro is another hallway shooter we've all played over 20 times. How are you not bored of doing the exact same thing for over a decade?
conkerlive101 the hilarious part is that the actual components of metro vary drastically from the usual hallway shooter so you clearly have no clue what you’re talking about
Fair review. I wish I would have watched this earlier than I did! My instincts told me not to get this, but out of boredom I did... Dammit! I should have listened to my instincts. This feels like a step backwards. Weapon modding is gone. They added in heavy bullet sponginess which is absurd in a "realistic" shooter. A mountain lion taking 90 rounds of 7.62mm to the chest and head? Yeah right! I also hate the home base and how square and neat it is. All the signs look like they are professionally printed, instead of hand painted. Hardly anything in the world really looks like it's post apocalyptic or hand built. They had a huge opportunity to possibly re-invent the Far Cry series, but they blew it with a stripped down cash grab. Ubi is getting as bad as EA with this.
To be brutally honest im tired of the farcry sandbox its the same loop over and over do missons clear outposts same old same old with a few tweaks here and to create the illusion of something fresh and new.
That's pretty much been the standard ever since Far Cry became a free roaming game. Which is why the first one is still the better one, it had a narrative and left you in a semi open world. You can roam all you want in the level, but you have a goal at the end of it. But with these? They give you the illusion of it, and in comparison, the narrative is complete garbage.
hmm i was going to get this but it does not look like a nuke went of at all, i love far cry game's but this just seems to similar to the last one aside from the rpg elements.
Far cry has lost something charming about it. I can't put my finger on it but something about it is missing, something that made it, better. I think they need to take a step back and look at what made older farcry games better.
Same man, I loved Far cry 3 and still liked Far cry 4 but i found FC5 incredibly boring and sold it after completing first region, it just lost some spark and was utterly boring.
Face full of eyes has brilliant examinations on the far cry games, particularly far cry 2, helped me really understand, and put words to, the things I felt playing that game as a wee egg
In some ways I agree but what game franchise hasn't? Battlefield is not fun any more to me. People raved about GTA5 and RDR 2 but I thought GTA5 was linear and not fun. RDR2 was just boring to me. Both games looked great but there was no fun for me. For some reason I didn't have as much fun with FC4. FC5 & ND are lacking in originality but both are a lot of fun IMO.
I'm a little bit disappointed that karak didn't catch that Joseph seed didn't nuke hope county. He predicted that it was gonna happen and he was right that was the twist that made the story actually good in my opinion.
Thanks for the review. I love the Far Cry series but this was pretty much what I was expecting. I have to say, this was the first ever UA-cam video where I've tried slowing the speed down :-o Keep up the good work.
Far Cry is in such a weird place. They basically keep making the same game over and over with a different skin and some new elements, and it's never "bad" but it just isn't unique enough to be worrth buying. I think it's time to move on to a new franchise.
Basically after seeing the success of turning Assassins creed into an RPG it seems like they’re turning this into a full blown RPG next. Just wait till the next numbered titles, gurantee it will be like AC Origins.
Diree yep. I just want a stealth game dude. Like the last AC I played was syndicate. I’m not into an RPG AC game. I feel like if they make another Splinter Cell they will just fuck it up making it online only or some shit. But god I miss Sam Fisher and sneaking around.
The irony is that Metro is another hallway shooter we've all been playing for fifteen fucking years. You can't pay me to play these monotonous games over and over and over and over again.
Incompetent lmao if you think Exodus is just hallways you haven’t even seen gameplay of it! Total upgrade from the first two entries. Exodus is gonna fucking kick ass.
Dude I have over 100 games for my ps4 and I can type in any of them with ACG and he has done a review . I can always count on him for entertainment bro.
The biggest issue for me is that the story is way to short. The game pushes you to the main story missions and there isn’t enough there to even explore the entire map. I’m playing through a 2nd time just to do more side stuff. It feels to me like far cry five was supposed to include this game and ubi decided to break it up into two games. Needs more story and weapon customization more like FC5, yes I know we are building guns out of house hold stuff but we should be building the accessories and be able to zip tie/hose clamp them onto anything that makes sense.
It's infuriating because we all know, given enough time and commitment, Ubisoft can make some great games; but they just seem push things out the door without so much as a forehead kiss.

A like the little touches in your videos, like how you blurred out your objectives in the top corner to not accidentally spoil stuff for people who want to play it, little stuff like that
Ubisoft made four good-great games in my eyes that I enjoyed: 1) Far Cry 3 2) Assassin's Creed: Odyssey 3) Assassin's Creed 2 4) Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.
Jospeh Seed didn't set off the Nukes at the end of Far Cry 5, he had been predicting the nuclear apocalypse and was correct, the whole cult is built around preparing for the apocalypse not causing it. The twist isn't that you defeat Joseph and he (or the cult) sets off bombs anyway, it's that all of the batshit crazy stuff he was predicting came true
Great review. I think I'm gonna pass on this one, or wait for a cheap key. I really loved far cry 5. I think it was fantastic and a great evolution of the ubisoft formula (which I like, if you don't then go look at another developer) I also loved the vietnam dlc, it was really great fun and has me wanting to play a full far cry game set in vietnam. Anywho, this game just doesn't look worth it, not for its smaller size and all the landscape being so colorful and healthy after all the radiation from multiple nukes falling.
I must be the only commenter that likes this game. I'm playing it extra slow and spending ages enjoying all the new, beautifull colour and the wonderfull lens flares, dust effects, hummingbirds, the absolute genius who does all the foliage, wild grasses, the countryside feels more realistic than other games, the lighting is nice, just crouch down in the bushes and watch the moving light, filtering through the trees and dancing all over your gun..the overall fine detail in this game gives farcry 5 an fresh and interesting boost. Reinvigorating it...it feels newish an I'm exited to see the whole thing. It's interesting to see some landmarks from farcry 5 in this new, setting overgrown with nature, and reappropriated. I guess playing vr regularly has me looking at flatscreen games in a new way. You could tell before release it would be farcry 5 part two.. It's even priced accordingly. I don't feel so negative. Loving this game. The gameplay might get boring later on, ( I will find out as I play).. but I'm loving the visuals, vr sensibilities got me eyeballing every inch for immersion. This game has the visual detail I crave for in vr. Ps I love the introduction of the health bar over the head of enemies. I also thought it made assassins creed the best game. I think ass creed oddesey and farcry 5 best in the series. I want bright colours in games. Can't wait for rage 2.

They should have released this as a DLC. I will definitely wait for a sale if I play it at all. Thanks for the review! Well done and accurate as always. Definitely not sold on this game.
I've always been a huge fan of the Far Cry series. I started playing at 2 (maybe my favourite) loved 3 and 4, but at 4 it felt like they were starting to run out of ideas. Before I bought 5, I had plans to buy all the weird and wonderful DLC that went along with it. But I have to say that I was disappointed with 5, it didnt feel like the progression that I hoped it would be (if anything it felt like a big step down from 4) I didnt bother buying any if the DLC and I wont be buying this either. 2 of my favourite games are Far Cry and Fallout and it feels like both are on the slippery slope to oblivion!!!
Yes because it's the exact same game every single time. How do people not see this. I felt like Ubisoft took a gigantic turd on me when I payed for farcry 4 which was just like 3. Never made that mistake again.

Precisely why I dont like rpg leveling mechanics

Agreed they didn't really take the time to understand the story you kept getting hints throughout the game people kept telling you ."have you ever considered that Joseph seed may be right" and it turns out in the end he was right the apocalypse was coming he didn't cause it.
That makes me wonder, who nuked the US?

Pugpolice, good question. I assume there was a gigantic nuclear war, considering the whole world ended. But who started it is hard to say.
Pugpolice You can hear news on the radio, and based on that I'm guessing Russia.
Ubisoft games are designed to be completely unoffensive. That's why all the stories are so lame.
probably why the far cry 2 writer left them.
All games are designed to be inoffensive doofus... but hopping on a hate train sure is fun. Hell far cry 5 had more controversial subject material than just about any game in recent memory
And who do you them to offend. Hmm let me guess.
And in the process their games are an offensive to anyone with a brain and gaming as a whole.
I dunno, it is kinda worrying they seem to want to convince their audience nuclear war is no big deal.
These games are so hollow and soulless

Looks more like Paintball Simulator 2019 than a post-apocalyptic world.
lol - the map and world does remind me of a paint ball game. I don't care all that much for the map but the gameplay is really good.
I really like the style of the world
My biggest frustration with the original FC5 is that the game would never leave you alone.
So far there I seem to see soldiers roaming, before they see me (except for wild animal surprises which are sudden) less road patrols, road presence is mainly random fuel/prisoner transports.
it does happen
Apparently I'm in the minority in this comments section at least. I thoroughly enjoyed Far Cry 5. So much so that I plat'd the PS4 version and actually just finished it on XB1 in time for this release. I'm only a few hours into this but I really like it.

Yeah farcry 3 and that's it.
@Java Monsoon imagine paying 50$ for a new gun and the chance to liberate generic fort #452 for the rebels
I'll be sure to enjoy this."
But to be honest, kudos to you for playing a lot of different genres.
“One Peter Pan motherfucker flying in on a zip line” lol that line gave me a solid chuckle. You have the best way of describing things in your review

Nothing brutal about it. Simple fact.
hmm i was going to get this but it does not look like a nuke went of at all, i love far cry game's but this just seems to similar to the last one aside from the rpg elements.
Are you serious? Farcry 3 came out almost a decade ago and your just realising now that they haven't changed a damn thing in all those years.
They got rid of malaria. Malaria and broken weapons made the 2nd game 10/10.

Far Cry is in such a weird place. They basically keep making the same game over and over with a different skin and some new elements, and it's never "bad" but it just isn't unique enough to be worrth buying. I think it's time to move on to a new franchise.

Excellent review as always! An thanks for saving me some money! I won't be picking this up any time soon.
It's infuriating because we all know, given enough time and commitment, Ubisoft can make some great games; but they just seem push things out the door without so much as a forehead kiss.

After working my ass off to platinum Far Cry 5, I am not over the burn out enough to get this game. Not if it is just a reskin. What a shame.
Is it just me or is Jospeh Seed basically just Matt hew mcconaughey?
A discount version, yes.
Not in a rush to play this but I do want to try it. Perhaps during the slow summer months.
ACG takes on the torch from TotalBiscuit (R.I.P) and proudly carries it forward.
Thank you good sir. I greatly appreciate your content.
Anything about co-op? Is it the same as FC5? With the limited range you can go from the other player?
I played it and I say it’s a must play. Fun game overall. Really colorful atmosphere.
A must play? Not to old school fans no.
Great rewiew from someone who actually played the game and gave an honest opinion instead of regurgitating the same corporate fotter.
thanks
The gameplay might get boring later on,
( I will find out as I play).. but I'm loving the visuals, vr sensibilities got me eyeballing every inch for immersion. This game has the visual detail I crave for in vr.
Ps I love the introduction of the health bar over the head of enemies. I also thought it made assassins creed the best game. I think ass creed oddesey and farcry 5 best in the series.
I want bright colours in games. Can't wait for rage 2.
nah some like it for sure
They're still chasing that FarCry 3 wonder. I don't think that's possible, not with the current micro-transaction happy attitude at least
Lucian Stoicescu Far cry V is better then 3 in almost every way. Nostalgia factor is why everyone loves 3.
@@123abc8027 lol seriously??? Better in gameplay but FC3 had better villains better story . And FC5 deleted many animations which is a dumbass decision. It also doesnt explain about the character of the protagonist. A fixed protagonist is better than customisable ones.
I don't plan on buying lol its a cash grab
Majestic Beardsman Blood Dragon was unique and good, this is shit
@Majestic Beardsman Blood Dragon was a stand alone DLC/expansion and it was AMAZING. It's the one exception, and one worth mentioning.
As opposed to any other game put out lol
Every game is designed to be a cash grab
Spider venom 99 all games are cash grabs this one just looks bad
It's a business just like any other. Of course it's a cash grab. Nothing wrong with that.
6:45 my man said Macca-bray lmao
I really think that if this was sold as a lone DLC for Far Cry 5’ season pass and the shitty DLCs never existed, people would been praising this game a lot more.
As always thanks again for the reviews!
Hello, my red haired hero.
@@AwokenGenius Hello there I've been shipped wreck again and stumble upon this youtube channel
Ubisoft milking Far Cry 3 to death...
Lol wut
@@stevenewsom3269 hm?
@@stevenewsom3269 What do you not get about his comment?
You could just say Far Cry bud. They've released far cry 3 twice. Where as there has been plenty of far cry games
@@beburger2054 well far cry 1, 2 and 3 were all 3 different games
I really wish these games were 4 player co-op instead of just 2 players.
@@conkerlive101 I think it's because of the big difference between 2 and 3, I think I was hoping for that kind of evolution (I was dreaming Haha!) I loved the second FC, but could see the issues and 3 did iron a lot of the problems out. But you're right 3, 4 and 5 are just the same game. Looks like I need to find another FPS because FC just ain't doing it for me anymore. I detest COD and the others, after the freedom of FC it just feels so restrictive.
Farcry 2 is by far the best, being that it was the first to have fire damage effects and it actually felt like a stealth shooter. Then after 2 it just turned into a meaningless shooter
@@OriginalName42069 yeah, and the destructible stuff. All that just seemed to get dialled back more and more every game after 2. It had a lot more realistic feeling to the whole game with guns jamming at the worst possible moment, the malaria taking hold and all that. I wish it would go back to its roots a bit, imagine FC2 with today's tech powering it!!!
@@davidkennedy1077 if Ubisoft remastered Far Cry 2. Fuck.
This is my first far cry game
It's so amazing solid 9 out of 10
Am I the only one with this weird fan speed increase in menus and map? :o
In Far Cry 5, Joseph Seed didn't nuke the United States. North Korea did. Joseph Seeds' thing was offering salvation from the nukes and restarting the world in his own way. If you listen to the news on the radio throughout the game it explains how the nukes happened.
