Those whom were born in the early 70's missed all this and discovered it all much later in life. All this 70's era music was largely missed with that crowd as we were into 80's stuff. Now I get bits and parts thanks to YT. A peace of the puzzle here and there. 70's music was very soulful and the rock was the pure essence of rock like with early ZZ Top. James Taylor. Amazing ✌️

James' voice always had a calming effect on me as a youngster. Life wasn't good, but to put on Mud Slide and focus on the album photo and lyrics, used to put me in better place and I'd fall asleep listening to the album. I'm still thankful to James for that. Always thought I'd be like him when I grew up. Well I did learn to play the guitar, and I went bald, but that's as far as I got! Thanks for the beautiful musical memories James. x
