The jab
Right jab to body
Rear Uppercut to finish of a to the body combo, on the inside, then flash up with the KO Rear Upper... And, goodnight! ✊🌠
Thank You Go Vegan
Not a single punch, but my 1-2. I use the jab to aim and set up the shot, then I can lay waste with that big right hand.
I just have to say, I appreciate your work so much, Tony. It's absolutely insane that in this day, we can watch how-to box videos from an Olympic fighter.
My father was the junior olympic gold medalist in my state and it's crazy how much cross over there is between what he taught me and how you teach. Even down to the mannerisms and the way y'all explain things.
Im so happy that anyone can learn the greatest workouts for general fitness and how to defend themselves for free, just as I did from my father.
Even though I've been training since I was a toddler, I still learn new things from your videos and once again, I cant say enough about how valuable this information is. Amazing channel, Tony.
Over hand, shovel hook, flicker jab, and up jab.
I'm from Syria and I'm watching all your video.
You're a great coach
So glad I found your page.....been helping me so much, improving all my knowledge, skills and power. Thank you 😊
I only knew 8/14 but i learned them all from you! As an amateur, your videos are full of information while keeping it engaging for someone who wants to learn. I can keep watching your videos over and over as you cover so much with proper depth, thank you!
Love the videos mate. Definitely helped me out with technique.
Great video as usual! I’ve boxed for years but have improved since watching these videos
Love your videos Tony! Amazing! Your videos have really bridged the in between from class. Literally just learned that 1,1,2,3,2 combo today! I'm a year into my boxing. My favorite is 1212, jump back 234
do soviet style please tony love you man
i was also looking to learn the soviet style but there is almost nothing on the internet apart from a russian guy teaching some tricks
@@SamI-jk5vt 'apart from a russian guy teaching some tricks' Are you referring to the 'Russian School of Boxing' YT channel? Thaose videos are a lot more than just teaching a few tricks!
Interesting mate, I'll add that to my list. Thanks for the suggestion 🥊
@@SamI-jk5vtsoviet is hard to come by, haven’t seen much more than a few channels explaining it through Dimitry Bivol’s style
@@raider394 true. lots of the time there is just explanations of how Bivol or Oleksandr Usyk does things
Thank you Tony. Great video as always 💪
I didn't got any perfect named.
I don't know punches,
I only get punched.
That's why I subscribed.
Great channel!
sad😂
well played, bro! Don't worry, being able to take a punch is good too! Most can't. Learning to roll with the punches, best skill of all.
Thank you for confirming this old person has a decent coach. I only knew about 3/4 of the punches, but the key ones were right on with what I understood.
Thank you for teaching me the fundamentals of boxing.
Tony, your content always inspires and motivates me to hone my craft. Thank you 🥊
What about overhands?
Ye I thought same 🤔
Wow! Just a life-saver video! Tony you are really a bundle of talent man! Not only an excellent boxer but an excellent coach as well, very few people have all these qualities, we are proud of you Tony 😊👍
As a beginner this is definitely what I need to hear & learn. Thanks for the tips
I've always look up to u nd learn everyday... Mt visual coach
I love these videos were it train me.🥊
Always a pleasure.
The humor is on point.
I always listen to the sponsors just because of the fact i truly respect and appreciate your channel. It’s the least i can do
Love ya videos Tony! That cross to lead hook to body is a nice move, I liked to follow with the lead hook to the head, you come back up and out to generate good power on it. I always called it the straight right and left hook but I guess the naming you used makes it apply to orthodox and south paw.
I knew that the 3rd punch is the lead hook. I would admit even I as a right hand/orthodox stance loves to punch the bag with left lead hook. It's now my most favorite punch in my arsenal.
I love this one man ❤❤
The jab and distance thing really is helpful
Glad it helped! Appreciate you mate 🥊
Loving these video mate! i need them to help with my boxing practice so thank you!
Enjoy mate I got tons of vids in my channel for you... check it out 🥊
@@Tony_Jeffries Yes mate i've been watching alot of them and defienetly will check the other videos out🥊
Love your videos man☝🏾
thank you ma man!
Thanks for this beautiful video. Very helpful. Can you make a video about shadow boxing?
this was money. Thanks Tony
The bolo punch is so underrated actually. It’s like a swinging punch, has 40fps instead of 30fps for a guy like me.
Teşekkürler.
Thanks man. Happy ST George day from an American viewer
Your videos are legit.
Interesting
Great !
Thanks ma man 👊
What kind of video is this?! This is one of the best videos you have ever made. Practical, informative, interesting.
Imagine what kind of fighter you'd be if you only trained the pivot hook, superman punch, and headbutt! A very interesting kind of fighter. I'd like to see such a fight event!
yo those gloves look sick man! and as always thank you so much for the priceless data
Glad you like them!
Nice one , Ubud Warrior is yours? are you in Bali ? love Your content Brother
Tony's exposing his dad jokes😂
Thanks coach. Scoring pts every time you say "level up".
magnificent
Thanks for the great video, Tony! Question: why don't you turn your hand all the way for the lead hook? My coach said not to throw it the way you show, because the ref might call it a slap, something like that...
ayo sir just realize that u are in indon rn
(or at least when that video was recorded) :3
cool tips ima practice it soon ^^
What are your thoughts on not pivoting on the lead foot when throwing the lead hook. I've seen a few videos about that. i think there reason is because it's quicker to come back with a cross if the lead foot is already planted. Are both ways correct?
What's up G. Big fan from 254 , what is a check hook BTW?
1, 2, 3
The very first combo i learned. It's funny how it's really just the basic fundamentals that anyone really needs to improve.
What about the over hand Tony? The shovel hooks? Cork screw punch?
Jab, Cross & Hook: Everything else is a variation of these and where to aim them.
Great ❤❤
Thanks ma man 👊
Tony do you think i could do boxing even if i cant turn my wrist into an uppercut or american hook should i just give up
do a video on how to master EVERY punch
Tony what is the smash punch can you teach us
Do you consider the smash to just be a variation of the screwshot? Don't you think the hooks to the body are different than targeting the liver or spleen shot specifically? Also, what about the overhand punches?
12/14 names dead on; "screw shot" was a new term for me.
A bit surprised that rear overhand didn't make the list, since I think that's different enough from a rear hook to treat it as something else 🤔
Agreed
Can you explain George Foreman one day? Thx
Well put Tony. Some coaches tend to over teach young or beginner boxers. It’s a big mistake. ✝️🇺🇸🥊 Coach Mando from the Alamo City.
Appreciate your comment Coach !
Amazon vídeo
I didnt see the overhand , is that because you catagorize the overhand with the cross or rear hook and just see that as a variation of one of those punches? Also the shovel hook? Is it safe to say there is actually 16 punches? But i do understand there is many variations to a punch
Where do you coach at
Can you please do video on Velcro vs lace up gloves 😊😊😊
Laces are superior in any aspect. Just need someone to help you put the gloves on (time consuming)
@@railtraining2556 got it
overhand right?
when you threw the lead uppercut, it said rear uppercut below it lol, great vid though
Tony, what is the weight of this bag?
I need some help, i feel like after my rolls/slips, i can't really come back with my punches with a good speed, i fell slow after moving my head
What about the overhand right?
Would you ever come back into the ring to fight a UA-camr like Mike Tyson?
Tony said no and thats👍
No mate,, I'm satisfied right now teaching boxing 🥊
What are you talking about bro
@Tony_Jeffries Absolutely fine. That's the answer I was expecting.
Oh yea I think I heard of that UA-camr before
❤
Hi Tony!
Hey mate, how are you?
@@Tony_Jeffries im great thanks how are you?
Don't we need to slip to the side for a prefect rear hook to the body to generate more power ?
hey tony, can you make a video on the pendulum bounce?
I''ll add that to my lists mate
Great video Tony! You might be too young but Mike Myers (playing Scottish) had a line where he said "Scottish martial arts are basically headbutting a guy then kicking him while he's on the ground." Silly, but still funny. Love that TJ heavy bag. Very sexy! Now get a paper towel and wipe that floor, superstar, b4 you hurt yourself! xo
Gotta admit, my favorite punch is the hook.
I know the fundamentals but I can't move my feet around real good? What do I do?
Why does my jab feel like it has no power ?😢 I tried all the tips stepping my foot when i punch, twisting my arm before connecting stepping in and turning my body but even after this it still feels weak please help tony
Put your hip into it
@@gautamnagvekar9934 I found out later in this video 😀 I was just doing the step wrong
👍👍👍
Sean Strickland beat Israel with the old 1,2. Izzy had kicks, take downs... whatever, all at his disposal and the jab, cross baffled him.
Pshew!
Can't bet on that working in mma, but it can be THAT good.
What about over hand???
No rear overhand punch?
What about over hands?
👍
Solid tips, but that slippery floor looks dangerous ! You almost knocked yourself out several times. Do you know Frank Gilfeather ? 78 years old, but beating younger influencers at their own game.
Should overhand be on the list? Or isn't that considered a "proper" punch by boxers?
What to do to stop Leaning my face in when I throw my jab?
I like your jokes 😆
Dad Jokes 😅
Yes i like your Dad Jokes most offers 😄 and I more than like your Boxing videos
Aren't there 15 punches? I know it's not used as often, but what about the overhand?
I wish it had Persian subtitles😢
Overhand?
I got five but I only do shadow boxing....that s my excuse! 😂
Gazelle Punch?
lol @ the head butt
Someone's going to have to explain that tiled step being below the bottom rope of that ring area to me, and how that isn't a potential fatality.
I love your content otherwise. But why? It's more of a hazard than if it wasn't roped off as a makeshift ring.
Forgot the Overhand
What's the difference between a screw shot and an uppercut?
A screw shot is something between a jab and an uppercut. While an Uppercut is used close range a screw shot can be used for longer distances. U start how you would start an Uppercut but extend your arm diagonaly up.
Copy paste error on that LEAD UPPERCUT, Tony
Jokes are on form man..do ya only use the NMN once a day..the instructions suggest twice a day..did you have words with the editor about listing a rear uppercut on the screen when you demonstrated a lead uppercut?..mabey he could deo with some NMN...XD
What’s the difference between a right hook and an overhand right
It’s very hard to explain but basically a right hook curves sideways towards your opponents head and an overhand curves downward towards your opponents head, think of it like a sledgehammer
@@coypandora0795 How do you throw an overhand right without popping your shoulder
@@bilalsyed8392Don't be rigid I'd say but I am by no means an expert. Doesn't seem to happen when I'm on a bag but I just tried it in my bedroom and my shoulder did indeed pop the first time lol
I did not see an overhand-right or left.
Send this to Ngannou before he gets kicked out of boxing 😅
