it doesnt hurt tho, because you can spam lions claw consecutively without stopping for flask. As I did similar run, but with blacksteel greathammer, having to stop mid combo to drink flask is HUGE issue against Radahn. Each flask is one of your safe damage openings gone, so basically lowering your dps effectively. You need 3-4 consecutive lions claw to stagger Radahn - with base mind, if you miss one, you will NOT stagger him, before having to drink. He then also can punish you without your hyperarmor protection of lions claw, reseting his stagger bar, netting huge damage loss. Not to mention that you really want to rebuff midfight, which is hard without enough FP, as you also have very small window to apply buffs, and you will not have time to do that if you need flask before that.
@@chrxs61632 you are of course wrong. Having enough mind to not have to use flask is the biggest damage boost he could have at his stats. He had soft capped health, damage and endurance, what else could he spent the points on?

this game is unique with the strength stat where, when you're two handing the weapon, the hidden soft cap of strength goes up to 148, letting you still level up strength and still get returns all the way up to 99, even while two handing
This is almost the exact build I used, Except I used Giant Hunt because it does pierce Damage and Consort Radahn Takes more DMG from it, you might need to time it more correctly though as it doesn't have Hyperarmor as good as Lion's Claws.
@@AfterIife_ if you did it when the game first dropped he might've not get stance broken, starscurge radahn used to be pretty broken back then. But now you can stance break every enemy in the game as far as i know. Btw, you can also parry to stance break consort radahn, tho it takes 3 successful parries

@@vraku9624 its 120. 3 lions claw on blacksteel greathammer or collosal hammer will do the trick. With every other weapon its tricky, because getting 4 hits in, without getting interrupted by his combos and having to heal is hard, and that means his stagger bar gets reset...
If you want to just shred bosses, add bloodflame blade, and blood grease. Then if you use the dragon communion seal instead of the finger seal, you can build up blood loss ontop of destroying Radahn's stance. Any arcane stat ontop of that is ok, but search up the soft cap. Just to make sure you aren't wasting some points that could go in vigor.
I also went in the strength/faith ‘tank’ direction w Radahn. Not really a tank when he still hits like a truck lol but being able to afford trading blows like this is why I was able to win

You could also run crag blade and switch the shard out for the old lords talisman to increase the duration of your flame grant me strength and golden vow. Youll turn into a stagger machine and if you have enough negation with your armour you can switch out the hard tear for the crakced tear that increases charged damage
This is one of my fav build. You literally tank hits and trade with this bs boss too 💀. Its actually hard with this build mid rolling into his bs meteor follow up attack.
I used the same armor. But i wielded only one exile knight greatsword with both hands. No spells, only full flasks with mid weight roll. Git gud, and git gud i did, suffering for around 43 hours. Giving up all the pride i had left. The struggle was promising. So the triumph must feel even greater. That was all i was thinking about. So i looked at it, like i was letting this fight age like wine. With every death. Now? It tastes great as many times as i want to. It has become a perfect choreographie. (Except for that damn triple hit combo. But i can tank that.)
My only buffs came from Talismans and my Physick After that, it was Carian Retaliation on Wolf Crest Shield, a Carian Knight Sword +10, and sheer fucking willpower
I killed him with dame talismans and phisiks weapon backhand blade keen with blind spot ash of war, malikeths armor and 50vigor 30mind 40 endurance 30strenght 60dexterity 9 int 30arcane and 25faith try him with tgis build it was painfull and forgot no buffs
Rocking the same armor(helmet included) I was using the greatsword of solitude and a nice fuck off shield with good guard boost and holy negation. I was playing more counterattacks, especially with the new deflecting hardtear and just tanked the damage
My Build was semilar. Heavy Greatsword with giant hunt Aow,a wakaziashi with golden vow AoW. I was level 181 with 60 vigor 25 mind 35 endurance 80 strength 13 dex 11 int 10 faith 14 arcane Physik was opaline hardened tear and the winged crystal tear Armor was solitude chest,arms and legs for the helm i used the fireknight helm Talismsn: spear, shard of alexander,greatdragoncrest shield and the new holy one for protection.
I used an dex-arcane build with bloody reverse sword, the ash of war lets you punish some of his attacks, didn't use incantations, only chest, legs and gloves of this knights that gives some decent physic and holy protection

Sacred relics sword +10, 60 faith, holy scorpion talisman, shard of Alexander and just spam ash of war for 6k damage per cast
Golden braid is also a great talisman for the second phase. Giants hunt is also a great ash of war for the extra piercing damage.

my brother in christ. never go above 38 mind unless youre running a pure caster. 38 mind puts you at 221 fp, a +12 flask restores 220 fp
