    Thanks for the detailed instruction and info in the Byrna internals. No one really does a comprehensive vid like this💯💥💥💥

      I am doing my best. Some of the systems are hidden during reassembly and you can really action the launcher with the shell split.

    Great stuff. Been waiting for ages to see some Byrna info. They are pretty underpowered, and even a bit of potential gain would be brilliant

      Sorry it took so long. I am running out of markers to take apart and now that i have my hands on one it seems Byrna has finally listened to the consumer base by increasing power to a claimed 16j which equates to a more reliable fracture of oc rounds. I hope i can do something. Thanks for watching.

      If I buy a byrna from US, can I trust that they sent me the newer 16j model..they want not take the older model and throwing in the garbage can..or ?? money is money for the company

      My understanding is the LE and XL models have the longer barrel while the LE is the only one to claim higher fps??? Byrna uses too many different model names for me to be sure or maybe the XL is the LE??? Best to ask them direct.

      @@lesslethalfordummies I feel like the LE is just a "tuned up" SD XL.

      It will be interesting to see what kinds of numbers they actually get out of the box.

    Cool video. Finally we get to see this. Maybe start looking at swapping the barrel out next?

      Barrel is something on the radar but I dont want to take away too much from the Byrna size.

    Thank you for doing this, I know it's gonna have big returns for the Byrna community if for nothing else just educational information, and who knows maybe you will strike gold and we can maybe look at more people working on mods. Thank you tho!

      I am totally with you on this. It may do absolutely zilch but at least I tried and maybe it helps someone down the road with a busted launcher. Much appreciate the support.

      If you can figure out a way to up the joules. You will be a deity for sure!

      Also it looks similar to a large version of .43 cal. And that is exactly how I got 14% more power from the .43 tpm1. The shorter weaker spring. But that’s all one can do I believe

      Got a couple of things to try but very much limited by the design of the hammer itself.

    can the chamber hole be widened where the gas enters the chamber from the brass tube

    • @lesslethalfordummies
      @lesslethalfordummies  Рік тому +1

      There is a little bit of wiggle room where the brass enters if you are steady with a dremel.
