THIS WORKED! It took a lot longer for the gps to be recognized than normal - for me 44 seconds. But it worked! (boy was this annoying... my watch was stuck on a different day&time)

I have the S10 golf watch and gave it a try. Once you find the satalite it corrects the time on that one too. Never would have worked this out. Thanks for the video and give the dog a pat from me 👍

My battery died on a long run, recharged and time/date were off. Watched is video, followed instructions and my watch is now working fine. THANKS A LOT

Thanks very much Brad. Works for Garmin Approach S20 too. Once you get a GPS connection outside (ring closes) the correct time appears!

That's what I have to do when I pull mine off Garmin sync. Time is way off, so I just step out on my balcony, set for an activity, and as soon as my FR catches the satellite, time corrects itself. Disconcerting, for sure. What the hay is going on, eh?!

Son-of-a-gun... It worked. I set it to a run and went outside and jogged around for 5 minutes and all of a sudden it got GPS and corrected the date! Ha!

My Fenix 5x was just synced. Showed a time that was hours off. Resynced and used GPS several times, and its still off by 40 seconds. Why?

How do you start a GPS activity? The only option I see is "other" which doesn't try to use GPS.

Time has to be in AUTO, on manual time will not work
