Nice video, I only update my Legends Pinball when a I want to download a new game pack like the Taito tables. Otherwise, if it ain't broke don't fix it. But I guess there's still a mountain list of issues they keep trying to fix but break others along the way
Thanks Bee, I too haven't updated in a couple months but I feel so bad for the folks that never got the message to not update and their new toy is now completely jacked with no more warranty. 🤞for change
I agree 100% with your video. Due to the horrible updates breaking basic functions, I stopped updating my ALP since the release of the Taito Pack 2 tables, and my system is thankfully stable and working perfectly with no sound issues, no gray balls, no table defects and no glitches. As of late, I’ve had to sign in every time I boot up, so I finally took my ALP offline with no wifi connection and that solved the sign in problem. I don’t use or care for the Coin Ops, Leaderboards and contests, so being offline is the best course for me. Personally, I think Atgames should fire their current IT team and hire some competent IT programmers who will THOROUGHLY TEST each update (like for a few months) before releasing it to users. And please…only one or two updates a year tops. In the interim, the LEAST Atgames should do is create a new interface with a year-long list of previous firmware updates, so if your system bricke, you can roll back to a previous, more stable update and get back to playing.
Show-Me-Retro, Thank you for this video! AtGames has had to have me do two factory resets on my AtGames Legends Pinball to fix update issues. One of their updates even made it so I couldn't play the extra tables I actually bought anymore. Everything's working now, except for the sound issues everyone's still having, but I don't dare breathe on the thing lest something else goes wrong. This product unfortunately is in beta and we're all unfortunately the testers. Still rooting for AtGames, but very disappointed :( vgv
Thank you for the video. A lot of people who research products to buy watch UA-cam videos. You are correct. It is really hard to see anyone giving an honest review on UA-cam for AtGames products. I would imagine that most people join the social media groups after they made their purchase. Negative, but honest comments are quickly deleted from the social media groups. Saying all this my AtGames products are still my favorite. However, the upgrades I do are after watching the fall out from everyone else who didn't know better. So, I haven't screwed myself yet. However, new comers don't know and just think it makes sense to upgrade. The worst part is AtGames doesn't take down the bad upgrades. They leave them up for everyone to mess up their systems. They are a company with a lot of great potential. They need to either replace their software team or give them time to debug it before releasing it. Some serious testing needs to go into the software before releasing it. Not too long ago PDubs pointed out that they use to release the software patches to a select group prior to officially releasing it. This allowed others to test the software, so AtGames didn't release a bad patch. PDubs said they don't do this anymore and that is part of the reason they have so many software issues.
I agree, they should absolutely take down any update that has known issues and issue an apology to anyone that was affected. It's a terrible way to run a company and just the fact that they have so many internal problems but pretend everything is great is so infuriating
New pinball table pack updates came out today. I’ve tested some of the tables and the haptics are fixed for Magic Pixel tables and the sunken hole bug on tables like Future World is also finally fixed.
It doesn't make it right for companies 100% to not fix issues or make it worse. I also agree and it's worse for for content creators of any product to turn a blind eye to the issues. The only way issues and problems ever get fixes with these devices is for them to be pointed out. I have much love for the Evercade. I care so much that I do point out issues in my videos. Blaze unlike AtGames listens to their customers and does address the issues. I hope that AtGames will do the same.
Man... i still want to get one but if i do it's definitely going to have to be running a PC or raspberry pi. This is a real bummer because the machine looks super nice. Yeah the Backbox is kinda ass lol, i plan to replace it but otherwise it looks great. I especially love that i can add a control deck to the front and play verticle shooters on a GORGEOUS screen! To start i just planned on using the Zaccaria tables until i got more $ to reskin the machine, add the $500+ backbox and a PC. Then i'll be sure to shut up about "it's fine" it's not fine for stock users... it's a mess! Clearly.
Great video!! So glad to see someone rip this brutal company because it is well deserved. I have an ALU (passed on the ALP because it's ugly, built in games stink and it basically requires the Buy Stuff Backbox as well, because it seems nobody at At Games knows what a pinball machine looks like. Anyway, you did a great job telling the TRUTH about their products. Too many UA-camrs want to stay in the companies good books and won't rip them when needed. We also have At Games staff sending Facebook admins messages to delete negative posts. The software with their products is a disgrace. I learned quickly to let others be the test rats when it came to updates but as you pointed out, too many new people have no clue about the problems they will cause themselves by simply doing the logical thing...updating their machine. Hopefully other UA-camrs in the Home Arcade space see your video and change their ways to help get the word out so that prospective new owners can either pass on the buying the machine (wish I did) or at least know not to update without knowing the potential risks involved. I just subscribed, keep telling it like it is. Cheers.
Appreciate the comment! You make some great points, especially about other content creators needing to make videos to get the word out. Change will not happen in FB forums, people need to express their frustrations on YT and maybe things will eventually change
True words. A big issue is a lot on YT wont to say anything negative about products, even if constructive criticism. It's not just the AT games people. It's all of them. Look at all the flaws 1ups have and people complain about. But as soon as a new cab is announced, even if a reskin/rerelease, they forgive and forget. Not to mention, if something is wrong, it's ok because the average person won't notice.
Pitiful… on my legends mini, namco arcade pacman hdmi dongle won’t go into vertical mode, atgames sent me an email saying that they have zero clue if it will ever go into vertical mode. Also, on my gamer mini.. Burgertime isn’t playable plugged in by usb, have to play in bluetooth.. 🤦🏼♂️
Well said. Luckily I haven't had any of the bricking issues yet, but the exciter issues are really annoying & I am fed up having to keep logging back into my ALP. When you pay this much for a product, it just needs to work & work well.
The ability to roll back to a specific firmware that was working would be a great feature. Right now it's factory reset or the current (possibly buggy) firmware.
Real talk. Now I'm afraid of buying an @tgames legend. Thank you. At this time I'm also afraid of iiRcade. They have stopped making their stand up machine arcade.
I was literally pushing ‘post’ on Facebook, when this was deleted from at games official page. No surprise. I appreciate the video. I will say I wouldn’t expect the behavior of the Shills (“influencers”) to change. They like free stuff and access. They want to protect that. They are more interested in being influenced then influencing. In this specific case, since the majority of the customer base has no trouble with being both vocal and honest, atgames and it’s influencers are irrelevant. Both are silent. But the rest of us know better. edit: left out a ‘the’
Thanks for the comment and yes I would agree with you. I didn't expect the post to last long but I felt strongly about what I said and thought people should see it
@@show-me-retro I love it. That their Social Managers biggest job is deleting posts, rather than constructively communicating with customers, says it all about atgames. Every time they delete another post, an angel gets its wings.
I put up with the AG updates, unit failures & shitty support for 6 months. Then, the last straw happened. My control panel completely stopped working 2 weeks ago. It wasn’t a hardware issue & I hadn’t updated the firmware before it happened. I verified the firmware version and fixed it by resetting the firmware. But, it happened again every time I tried updating the firmware. So, the machine was bricked for me and I had enough because I couldn’t use CoinOpsX (not included) in the original firmware. Sold it 3 days later & moving on. Never buying another AG product.
This is likely going to be my only Atgames product. It's pretty clear they aren't listening to people in the FB forums and they're frustrations with updates and things breaking shortly after unboxing. Also, have you noticed Atgames seems to get a pass by other content creators? They're are very few negative reviews and videos about the ALU or ALP
I recently bought a Ultimate Mini Tetris and in rapid succession an ALP, VIBS card, Controller add on for the ALP etc. While I think their tech support people (person?) is really great, the amount of time it takes to hear from them is totally unacceptable. They need to hire many more. Comparing ATGames to iiRcade is like night and day, the later is responsive, friendly, helpful and you get the feeling that the company’s CEO would be upset if he heard a criticism like this one is to ATGames. I have a feeling a lot of the firmware breaks are due to them having multiple versions of the ALP hardware. Mine is recent and I haven’t experienced problems like you described, but I have a feeling that when they do firmware update testing they aren’t using all the versions of their hardware. My only problem now is when I upgraded the ALP to have the Arcade Controller, the exciters are too excited, it vibrates the whole panel and really distracts from the gameplay. Has anyone had any luck fixing this problem? Lastly, from my very limited knowledge of corporate law, if a company apologizes they will legally be held responsible in a courtroom. Admitting a problem works for you and I and is the responsible thing to do, but corporate lawyers would lose their retainer minds if they saw a company admit to a problem.
I really enjoy both Cabinet and pin ball..has it had issues..yes.. arcade net, sound of on pinball, but I will say they changed there updates and a lot of that is fixed, yes still needs work but still lots of fun to had, I think AT games will keep on it, it was released just before that COVID stuff, I still think for the price and the amount of games it's not even comparable to any other company, most cabinets for that price are not 2 player and only have a hand full of games
The real thing here for me is their customer service is ass. BUT... i can clearly see them making the effort to improve over time. Everyone who has stuck it out with them seems to share the same sentiment. They are not the best, but they are improving. I mean shit... that's all i can ask for man. Just DO BETTER.
Gutted my ALU, got sick of accounts ..the streaming...the subscription service thats a waste of money , the usb sticks blah blah... i put some 3/4 ply in the bottom. Mounted pc components, replaced monitor and speakers. Installed launchbox with big box + mame , plugged the alu control panel directly into usb on the motherboard etc etc 2 weeks and some patients later : 7k games and its awesome now. You can do this without destroying the original hardware and its reversible.
@@show-me-retro well for me it was a old gaming pc ; so basically it was a new life vs it being essentially e-waste or just left to collect dust. Not something I'd recommend buying pc components new to do; especially with the way prices are right now but if you got a older machine ; its perfect to do what I'm describing with it.
How are things now? I recently purchased the Legends Pinball, and had some haptic and sound issues after raising the legs and was able to turn things down.
Hey Pat what's up brother. Great Video! I was considering picking one up soon but man this is good to know. Would you recommend not getting one or buying one and not updating it?
Well, if you only plan on playing the built in games or buying the table packs available in their online store i would say No. If you have a decent pc lying around with a good graphics card capable of running fx3 pinball then it might be worth it. But the updates, weird design and bad speakers really hurt this product. That being said I'm still enjoying my machine, especially the leaderboards
I just bought one of theses things and let it update, seems to be fine but the action on the joysticks is pretty laggy. Haven't put coin ops on it yet, hope it will work.
I can’t figure out how to downgrade the firmware…the system seems to know Im tryiNg to use an old bios and wont let me downgrade. Quite frustrating. My coin ops just isnt working correctly. Trackball wont work….player one button wont start a game.
@@show-me-retro Pdubs had a video that gave a walk through of how to do it…so its still odd to me. As though atgames intentionally stopped our ability to do so?
I'm pissed off as well. My haptics completely gone. It's been over 2 weeks now. Hopefully once fixed I will never update it ever again. The problem I have is I'm in the UK and its not easy to get replacement parts if they go wrong. If this isn't resolved then im gonna take this up with my credit card company. Never had an issue with Arcade1up products to date.
I agree I have the Legends Ultimate and the ALP and it keeps signing me out the sign in automatically but the biggest problem I have with both products is to get the usb's to work sometimes it works then A LOT of times it don't work constantly have to mount and unmount constantly turn power of and back on a lot of work you have to do paying the high prices to have fun HMMMM
Yes, the signing in is an issue I forgot to mention and really bad across the board for everyone as well as usb issues. Hopefully with the amount of units they are selling change will eventually happen
Just about to buy the legends Pinball but now having second thoughts. Is it possible to switch on and start the machine from new and not update the firmware and just play the pin ?
Never upgrade firmware on something like this once you get it working. EVER. My original ALU is running 2 year old firmware and coin ops and everything is perfect still. PC users have known this forever.... Once your graphics card is working well with the games you are playing, no-one would ever click a new update. We let that shit sit for months and months before we trust it... just sayin' " IF IT AINT BROKE > DONT FIX IT " Was your machine working?>Yes? Then why are you fixing t?
Thx for this....just like everyone else I currently have buggy tables with balls getting stuck, control panel issues, trackball doesn't work for centipede etc. Frustrating is not a big enough word. Makes u wonder everytime I turn this thing on I spend time trying to put out fires instead of enjoying it. I have less problems with my mame arcade machine with 70k games lol. So want to be on Alp side on this but I'm just resentful and salty about my purchase. Waiting for a hero to come along and fix everything....not holding my breath
Dude, I just bought one the pinball machine a few weeks ago....I feel the exact same way. I am salty about this experience. They would have been light years ahead if they would just make their machines taylored for people who are going to run a PC on it instead of fiddle fudging around with trying to make things work. I kept reading all these positive comments on the coinops x will make things amazing......that has not been my experience. It's been buggy as hell and like you, it makes me seriously wish I would have just built a VPIN from scratch with awesome monitors and custom picked hardware. It's just overall a bad experience.
I've heard good and bad about the pinball. To the point where I created doubts in my mind about buying it as a sight unseen. Then, one day while browsing through Sam's Club I see a demo unit. I think to myself, well, it's a bit smaller than I imagined but it's not a deal breaker. I play it and controls are intuitive. But the sound is kind of off. A kid and their parent stops and I offer the table to child to play with and finish my shopping. They don't have any in stock so at that point it doesn't matter. A week or two later the demo unit is still up. I give it another try. The sound is noticeably worse. I'm wondering to myself what the heck is happening. The matching is just kind of being played by customers. Why does it sound like this? It's still not in stock but there's a note saying that they're expecting to receive 8 units in soon. Another couple of weeks and the demo is still there. The sound is full of crackling and distortion. I'm wondering to myself if this is the norm for the pinball after so many uses. Is is just bad speakers? It doesn't seem like anyone was cranking up the sound on this but perhaps you never know. But if they were shouldn't it be able to handle that? And most of all I'm looking at the (lack of) quality of the machine and price and thinking "is this really worth 700 bucks?" My desire for a pinball machine still exist but the urge to buy from At Games isn't there.
@@show-me-retro If it requires constant modding to keep it working as advertised then I'll pass. I have the Legends Pro and plan on changing out to a switchable 4-8 joystick with gate. But leaving it as-is doesn't affect what I expected when I bought it. So I have no problem with keeping my money nestled in its savings account. Thank you for the advice.
There seems to be some confusion about where most of the ALP issues are coming from. As far as I can tell, it’s not a firmware problem. It’s the table pack updates which are done separately from firmware on the AppStoreX page. In December, the Zaccaria classic tables stopped functioning correctly after a table pack update. Tables like Future World and Time Machine don’t spit back the ball after falling in the recessed target holes. Then in January, another table pack update killed all haptics for any Magic Pixel tables, including when haptics are set to ‘high.’ It’s been incredibly frustrating to get AtGames to acknowledge these widespread software issues as many people on Facebook and Reddit aren’t even aware table pack updates are even a thing and are separate from the firmware. They insist their tables work fine, their “firmware is up to date,” and the gameplay and haptics issues are isolated to faulty units. They don’t know that if they manually did the table pack updates via AppStoreX they would have the same problems. Instead they are polluting the public discourse and letting the pressure relax on AtGames to actually fix this.
So what do you think is causing all the issues with people having problems with their control panel after doing an update or login problems as well as backglass and playfield issues that are seen every day in the forums?
@@show-me-retro Oh, I don’t doubt any of those things are happening! I have login issues myself where I have to login 4-6 times in a row. Sometimes it just won’t login and I have to come back 10 mins later and try again. My main, biggest concern right now is the broken gameplay that’s apparently coded into the latest table pack updates. Not saying the other issues aren’t also important, but AtGames ignoring that the main gameplay itself is broken for many tables and not making a public statement is pretty unforgivable.
Lol, I made that from an actual marquee I bought at Mogamecon Jr. There's a video a year if you search my channel but unfortunately I can't let it go. Thanks for noticing though 👍
I was thinking about buying one until I saw this video. Thank you for making it. I do have a couple of questions. Which company makes better hardware/software on the Iircade and MVSX? Thank you
They really are great products in theory but Atgames is making ownership very difficult with their incessant updates that are doing way more bad than good. It's quite infuriating
Why are no videos also talking about how the machine does NOT have solenoids? I ordered one that comes next week I would really like to ask someone who already has one of the arcade1up pinball and legends and tell me if it's the same without the solenoids
I updated my Legends Ultimate yesterday and now it will not boot up. I have done the factory reset multiple times and each time I update it to current release, it will not boot up. Very frustrating to say the least. Any ideas how I can fix this? Thanks
Sounds like you did everything that I would have suggested. I would recommend going to the Official ALP FB forum and ask the folks in there. They're some very knowledgeable people that could hopefully steer you in the right direction
did you get this resolved, I know this is an old comment? My machine was gimped for a long time, update 5.67 and 5.68 just had a stalled bootup, never could use them so I did firmware factory reset. Luckily I had access to a 4.2 version image. There's an option in settings where you can delete user data from the machine. And doing that, it allowed the 5.68 update to work the other day, which was significant for me. Good luck to you.
Depends on who you talk to. I haven't updated in almost 1 year so I can't really say. Join the Atgames forums on FB and post the question. People are very nice and quick to respond
i had to buy a 2nd ALP cuz my first ALP got all mess up from firmware updates . since i got my 2nd ALP i haven't done any firmware updates and haven't had any problems . even with all the problems i had with ALP i really like my ALP it sad atgames don't backup there machines like they should. i haven't done a updates in 3-4 months and i play OTG mode more then playing ALP stock table games i really careless about stock tables ..
Glad everything is working out with the second ALP. I love the stock tables mainly for Taito packs and leaderboards. But yes I haven't updated in over a month, took awhile to sink in but finally got wise
And here we are a year later, and what has changed? Not a damn thing!!! I swear Atgames Customer Service, they talk great, and sincerely seem to want to help, but it's all corporate speak at the end. It's not their fault, it's Atgames management and CEO. PK Hsiung doesn't seem to care about any of his products problems. They are a large holding company and with that being said, it is difficult who to actually pinpoint to get things fixed. I have the Arcade Legends Micro Pinball. And while it has seem to be a solid working machine (Only slowdown is with the more complex tables like Space Invaders/Darius/Bubble Bobble) basically the Taito Packs. They know there are problems, but do nothing to actually insure that their updates actually work. I purchased the Atgames Legends Universal Gottlieb Pack. We are still waiting for a damn update to get them to actually work. It's also because Atgames likes to evade genuine and pertinent questions regarding the functions of their OS and why the updates break more than they fix. It's like they have a product, people like it, but that they are relying on nostalgia and initial interest to carry the machines they sell. So in conclusion, Atgames knows they have about the best virtual pinball for the price. They're better machines out there, but they run into the thousands for admission. Also, they have always had poor to horrible customer support . They throw parts at people, without any real troubleshooting or diagnostics being done. They put out updates that fix one version of their machine, but breaks a dozen other versions and have the audacity to say "You didn't update your machine" umm I didn't update to actually keep the damn machine working. And finally, don't buy the "packs" unless you look on Facebook or Reddit to see if they actually will work. And as a final note, THANK YOU for bringing these hacks of a company out in the open!!! We need more creators to get the community informed so they either don't get ripped off, or finally provide enough backlash to the company so that we see real improvements.
Their updates are legendary for fixing one thing and breaking another. I haven't updated in nearly a year. Really curious to see what happens with the 4k versions that were recently announced. Thanks for the comment brother 🙏
Well, you may have answered my question on how I lost sound on my Legends Connect board on my Wallcade. Sound just stopped all of sudden and now I’m guessing because i ran an update. It’s going int the trash anyhow.
@@show-me-retro Oh no, I totally felt the same way when they first announced the legends arcade system. They fooled a lot of people into thinking that the AtGames of the past was dead and buried.

@Show-Me Retro That as well. Another reason I'm no longer a fan. Ironically I was an advocate, until they failed to listen about firmware updates and also the intrusive log in requirements.

This a very unexceptable thing from AtGames. You shouldn't be bricking people's machines just from your updates. Sounds like the testing of these updates is not being handled properly.
Im done with atgames, absolutely awful experience. The hardware is great, but everytime i want to play theres an annoying issue popping up. I can never have a nice experience. Makes me laugh being called a hater, i BOUGHT the product for 1000$, I want it to be good…
I kept my ALP at version 40.50, which I'm glad I did, BUT ... stupidly I updated my Zac and Taito game packs and now the physical volume buttons on the machine are rendered useless. I used to have great haptic feedback on the upgraded control board, now nothing. Even faster decent when a competitor in the market establishes a trustworthy and valuable product. Seriously Atgames, get your S%#t together!
I'm sorry, for real. Hopefully FB complaints and this video can put some pressure on Atgames to respond the proper way and fix these issues. And please…only one or two updates a year tops. In the interim, the LEAST Atgames should do is create a new interface with a year-long list of previous firmware updates, so if your system bricke, you can roll back to a previous, more stable update and get back to playing.
Preach brother! Agreed 💯
Show-Me-Retro,
Thank you for this video! Still rooting for AtGames, but very disappointed :(
vgv
Glad things are working better and yes I agree with everything you said. I'm also hoping change is around the corner but not holding my breath
That's good to hear 👍
I’ve got a ALU and ALP coming next week. Should I just not update at all, or update once to get caught up, then hold?
I think once you buy them you have to do an update
It's possible things are better than they were but I'm not taking any chances
agree with everything you said 100%
Thanks Jason
I would play mine daily. Did not use it for a month and now I can't even access my tables due to an offline mode/license issue.
Yes, AtGames has some problems
Pat thanks for speaking the truth on Atgames. I love th power of their hardware but their updates and customer service are less than zero🤧
You are correct sir... appreciate the comment HP 👍
Fingers crossed but I'm not expecting miracles. Appreciate the comment as always
Man... i still want to get one but if i do it's definitely going to have to be running a PC or raspberry pi.
Totally agree. I keep hoping both companies are gonna turn things around but with each new release the price goes up and quality goes down
Pitiful… on my legends mini, namco arcade pacman hdmi dongle won’t go into vertical mode, atgames sent me an email saying that they have zero clue if it will ever go into vertical mode.
Yes, it's so frustrating. Hopefully things will change but I'm skeptical
Thank you for this🤘🤘🤘
Thanks for watching 👍
The ability to roll back to a specific firmware that was working would be a great feature. Right now it's factory reset or the current (possibly buggy) firmware.
Great point that I forgot to add. Thaylt would be tremendously helpful 👍
Brian - I think that would be amazing... but very unlikely to happen. Which sucks.

It's a shame nobody else on YT is discussing this... it's such a problem on FB that it needs to be addressed
@@show-me-retro won’t catch any influencers speaking the truth for fear of them being cut off
I was literally pushing ‘post’ on Facebook, when this was deleted from at games official page.

@@AmericanGooner 😂🤣😅
Very good points made. Maybe a recall.or class action suit is more suitable
Installed launchbox with big box + mame , plugged the alu control panel directly into usb on the motherboard etc etc
2 weeks and some patients later : 7k games and its awesome now.
You can do this without destroying the original hardware and its reversible.
Sounds awesome but I'm curious if you could have went to rec room Masters and built the same thing for a similar price?
@@show-me-retro well for me it was a old gaming pc ; so basically it was a new life vs it being essentially e-waste or just left to collect dust.
Not something I'd recommend buying pc components new to do; especially with the way prices are right now but if you got a older machine ; its perfect to do what I'm describing with it.
How are things now? I recently purchased the Legends Pinball, and had some haptic and sound issues after raising the legs and was able to turn things down.
I would still be wary of updates... I haven't done one in nearly a year. Do so at your own risk
Buying a new CTR board because my ALU keeps freezing and its out of warranty. 2yrs and this? No more updates here after this.
Yeah, updates are a big no no
Hey Pat what's up brother.
Update at your own risk in the future
I can’t figure out how to downgrade the firmware…the system seems to know Im tryiNg to use an old bios and wont let me downgrade. Quite frustrating. My coin ops just isnt working correctly. Trackball wont work….player one button wont start a game.
Unfortunately you can't downgrade the firmware once it's updated
@@show-me-retro Pdubs had a video that gave a walk through of how to do it…so its still odd to me. As though atgames intentionally stopped our ability to do so?
I was unaware of this and I frequentl the fb forums but I could be wrong
The latest update disables button mapping and high score tracking on coinops x on the legends ultimate
Yes, u forgot to mention that one as well
I'm pissed off as well.
Sorry to hear that. I'm sure it will eventually get fixed but it's a shame it had taken this long. Consider yourself lucky it's only a haptics issue
Yes, updates are not automatic
Never upgrade firmware on something like this once you get it working. EVER. My original ALU is running 2 year old firmware and coin ops and everything is perfect still. PC users have known this forever.... Once your graphics card is working well with the games you are playing, no-one would ever click a new update. We let that shit sit for months and months before we trust it... just sayin' " IF IT AINT BROKE > DONT FIX IT " Was your machine working?>Yes? Then why are you fixing t?
It's because they make it a requirement for te new tables...anyone who owns one of these says the built ins are horrendous
I jiust got.coinops x4 and I said I needed to installbthe latest at games update. And now my motherboard is dead
Well I was going to buy one today. Not anymore. Thank you!
Man, I feel your pain. I am hoping for change as well but like you am very skeptical
And most of all I'm looking at the (lack of) quality of the machine and price and thinking "is this really worth 700 bucks?"
My desire for a pinball machine still exist but the urge to buy from At Games isn't there.
If you're not into modding and constant tweaking yhe machine this might not ba a purchase for you unfortunately
If you add a pc and swap out the exciters and keep updates to a minimum you might be ok
I need that Monaco GP sign,, Im in Lemay.. please do tell..

Good luck to you.
i'm planning to buy a atgames pinball ... are those update problems still going on?

A sure fire way for any company (yes you Atgames) to start to tank is when consumers begin to loose confidence in the product and subsequently the Company. Even faster decent when a competitor in the market establishes a trustworthy and valuable product. Seriously Atgames, get your S%#t together!
I'm sorry, for real. Hopefully FB complaints and this video can put some pressure on Atgames to respond the proper way and fix these issues. Things like this can destroy a company and if they handle it right maybe they can regain some buyer confidence and turn things around. But I'm skeptical at this point
atgames are going to update themselves out of the market. it's in the bible.
cant you just downgrade if you are having problems?
Unfortunately it doesn't work that way
