Aint kidding. I’ve been playing all these nonstop and the game haptics,realism are top notch! Atgames and zaccaria really set the high bar for what can be done on the legends pinball. This things amazing!!
Got the ALP 2 days ago, carried up the stairs by myself. Can't stop playing and the wife is logging an hour a day so far too. Pinball Champ 82, Time Machine and Spooky are my favorites so far, the remake versions ofc. A shame the farsight tables are just the old PinballArcade ones and nothing exciting to look at. I'll have to get 1812 on VPX when i get a PC. Table deserves more love than what it got. The speakers surprised me as they sound rich and deep, the build quality is rock solid too... i thought after watching videos on this thing for months i was setting myself up for disappointment through overhype but no... it has so far surpassed my expectations. Haptics were extremely rough until i updated firmware so anyone worried about upgrading since it might break functions, don't be, they evidently sorted that all out. If this thing holds up without parts failing it will be a very sound investment, i'm looking to get the ALU next, likely be the last machine i can fit into this room for now.
I just ordered the Wave 11 Pinball machine and it comes with these packs as a digital download. Still waiting on a shipping notice, but super excited for the system and the Zaccaria pack. This is really cool stuff.
Magic Pixel really hit a grand slam with their pinball physics. This atgames virtual table really helps provide that extra bit of immersion. All we need now is holographic tech to bring these tables to the real 3D realm :D
Just joining the ALP gang and boy is it awesome! The last two days have been a blast with this machine, I still can't believe I finally have my own little pinball at home :) I did start thinking how glasses-free 3D would make vpin an even more amazing experience - the 3DS was amazing at it, and playing the Zen Pinball games in stereoscopic was a trip. Can you imagine plugging in that kind of display in the playing field?!
Just ordered mine today! Super excited. Come with the Zaccaria 1-4 pack plus they’re having a sale starting 9/3. I’ll buy Zac pack 5 and the Taito tables on sale. Super pumped.
Great review, I’ve been on the fence about getting the Legends Pinball but after seeing these games and how good they look I’m pretty sure I’m going to order one now. I just got my AFM and it looks incredible and the gameplay is good but the larger screen and better resolution plus the digital backboard of Legends has got me wanting it as well. Then I like the idea of the joystick attachment to play the vertical arcade games... Thanks!
Just got my ALP. Love it. Downloaded all the available packs yesterday too. Since I downloaded vol 5, ALL my tables have this weird background hum/noise going on. Not talking the exciters. Starts when you boot up a table. When it says the name of the table, it’s noisy. Then that noise/hum continues throughout play.
Awesome review... patiently waiting to pick one up at Sam’s- most-likely not until Christmas. I hope the game packs will go one sale (discount) when I get mine. Looks great.
I wish there was a plug and play higher end 4k 60+hz model on the market. I know companies make the fancy ones with PCs inside, but I mean something kind of like the full size legends pinball but in the $1-2k price bracket.
@@PDubsArcadeLoft YES! Especially if it was wider also. At least the screen needs to be wider. The standard backbox screen is narrower than the playfield and that just looks all wrong.
Great and detailed review my friend ....just wonderful to hear pinball sounds and that beautiful backglass wow! Now all they have to do is make a new deluxe backglass with bigger screen and separate DMD with speakers as a swap-able alternative instead of a new table. What do you think Pdubs?
YES! That would be awesome! There are things I love and things I hate about the machine. I really don't like the lack of dedicated DMD between the speakers, and the backbox screen is too small. I also don't like the lighted "Legends Pinball" at the top of the backbox and the same lettering below the screen. But you can't have everything I guess.
I'm going to have to rebuy them for the pinball table. On the Atgames Gamer Legends Pro..... The xbox Zaccari looks so much better. I've had issues with some of the tables. Maybe they'll sell owners the same game for half. $100 is not a bad price but $200 when I already spent $100 well.... That gets a bit pricey.
So is there no solenoids at all inside this machine? I know people complain of arcade 1ups not putting out enough. But I think it would suck to not have any. I like that there is 4 of them in arcade 1up. And that you can upgrade them if you want more punch. Just wondering the real answer. As I asked legends directly. And they literally replied with “I don’t think so”
No solenoids but does come with 2 Exciters for haptic and tactile feedback. Also solenoids can be added for extra punch later as atgames will sell them as an accessory. In all honesty they "feel" better than the weak solenoids arcade1up went with, Arcade1up solenoids are louder but you barely feel it in your hands.
Finally got a pinball unit ordered, which I thought wouldn’t happen. So I didn’t get a chance with the national owners day sale on these tables. Even $50 for 26 tables may be a bit much for me for these packs. I hope they go on sale again.
PDubs, I have a quick question regarding USB Flash Drive for the AtGames Legends Pinball. You've helped me out IMMENSELY with the coinopsx stuff and I wanted to ask about the Zaccaria table pack install. I'm planning on doing a duel partition usb drive with the first being 16gb for Flash Drive X and second being the rest (CoinopsX, etc). CoinopsX will fit easily on the second partition with no issue, I'm using a 128gb drive, but wanted to know where the Zaccaria pin packs install? Looking at your video, it looks like the Zaccaria tables will be over 20gb. Will they try to install to the first partition, or to the larger second partition where Coinopsx lives? I'm afraid if the Zaccaria tables try to install on the first partition where Flash Drive X lives, which is only 16gb, they of course won't fit. If you could let me know if I need to build the drive with a larger 32gb first partition, that would be great! Thank you as always, this will be a great help :) vgv

Just think about this AtGames could have easily put out another machine and charged $700 for 100 plus games the fact you can DLC for $100-200 that’s great. All other competitors are 20 games or less give or take
Exactly and you already know 1up will rerelease those 3 cabs and make people buy it again with WiFi and fixing the screen output nudge and other issues. They usually get it right on the third or fourth time and people will buy every version.

@@johnny58435 you can use the same code for the arcade cabinets and gamer pro, gamer mini, legends connect, gamer core...you just need a separate code for pinball it runs a different version of the games (better) no word on upcoming sales
I thought I'd get the four packs for the ALU, and see if there was any audio lag, like on the included ALU games. There was none, to my surprise. But, one table failed to load, so I may have to try re-installing the one pack it's in. I'm half way through checking the tables, at the moment. So far, I think they look good, but for the fact they're a little zoomed out, and I feel pushed way back from the tables. Wish we had a way to zoom in, on the tables, a bit. Of course, I'm on the ALU, so everything's smaller on that 24" monitor. LOL Also got the packs as a backup to the Zaccaria collection I have on Steam, which is unusable, at the moment, as there's a bug in the steam version which kills cabinet mode, so it's not playable on the pinball table, until the next patch. LOL
Just had a technical question, but how big are the packs megabyte or gigabyte ways? I'm trying to see about how high I should be getting my flash drive for downloading multiple packs.
I would use at least a 32gb USB minimum - 16GB of it will be used for all the pinball packs and addon packs, etc. with plenty of room to spare. the packs are small 500MB each, etc.
They need to do a STERN pack before Zen steals the licensing away like they did Williams. If we could get all the FarSight tables that would be awesome.
Does it feel like the ball is actually rolling and is there vibration when it hits bumpers etc... I'm curious, I want to get one of the creative arcades Vpinball tables but this one looks so cool for the price point with those tables. Thanks.
I ordered Volume 4 for my ALU 1.1. Do I have to use a different USB than the one I use for my CoinopsX flash drive X? I’ve got a partitioned drive for my CoinopsX setup so I’m guessing I need to take that out and put a different usb in for the flash drive X process for Zaccaria?
I got the ALP delivered on Monday with only the base 22 tables. I was hoping to order the ALU Plus One in the Summer Sale today that comes with 105 Zacaria tables (packs 1-4) plus the Taito 1 & 2 packs to use on the ALP instead of the ALU thinking they will work on either. But customer service at AtGames just told me that the ALP and ALU use different paks that are not compatible, so the paks that come with the ALU will not work on the ALP. Bummer. Any comments? Thanks!
Big bummer - I didn’t jump on the NOD deal because I chose Arcade Net - now I just got my table and I have no tables - the original gottliebs are not great. Any idea when arcadenet gets us the tables?

@@PDubsArcadeLoft and why couldn’t Farsight just sell us the 11 Stern tables they push on Steam for native play. That cost nearly $50 on Steam anyway, and I’d rather not have to pay for BYOG to play Ripley’s, Frankenstein, or Starship Troopers.
I asked At Games support a couple times and they replied with non sensical answers so hopefully you can answer what should be a simple question. If I select download pinball packs to my Arcade net account do I always have to be online to play them? If my internet is out will they still be accessible? If I download to device they will still be accessible. For some reason At Games would not provide a straight answer to this question.
Good question Matthew. I would say you wouldn't but then again you have to be logged in to play most games. I am going to try it tonight for you. I'll take off the web and I'll come back tomorrow.

I just got my email from AtGames to complete my purchase for the 4 Zaccaria gamepacks for Legends Ultimate Pinball Machine. Problem is, I don't have my machine yet and the last update I got is Wave 3, the wave I'm in, estimated ship time is sometime late March or in April. I reached out to AtGames via email a few days ago to ask them if it was safe for me to make my purchase now, because I don't have the Legends Pinball Table yet. I didn't want anything to expire. I still haven't heard back, so I thought I might peep you. Do you know if it's safe to buy gamepacks early even though I don't have the Legends Ultimate Pinball Machine? If you don't know, that's ok, but I thought I'd reach out. Thanks again for the video! vgv

Love the games. They look very good and I am happy I bought them on NOD. I noticed that the Legends logo reflects a lot on the pinball glass. Is that common?

Here's my question as someone who doesn't own or plan on getting an AtGames pinball machine but does have a vertical Legends Connect (which of course can't play this yet, but hopefully AtGames fixes that soon): how does the non pinball machine version of these tables hold up? I saw a Micheal B video and was concerned the graphics looked muddy. Also, if you were to recommend one of the sets, which would you suggest? Great video, Dubs!

Can I buy this for the Legends Pinball, and take the flash drive to play it on the Legends Ultimate. But I hear, the game will be optimized for each device. If that is so, and we can use the same usb drive for both, then it should make sense to buy it for the Legends Pinball, right?
How does it work. I got a code for the tables do I download it onto any flash drive I have and then use flash drive on my pinball machine? If so what flash drive do you recommend I buy?
If you put in the codes and attach it to the device can you play these tables 100% offline? I'd rather not leave my table connected to the internet (I'm wave 4).
Do you have to hook usb to a computer and fat 32 it before formatting on pinball machine or can I just put a usb in the atgames and format and download from there without using a computer?
Idk if they changed out their hardware with their latest wave in May/June 2022 but the speakers BUMP on mine. I was shocked... if you have downstairs neighbors they're going to hear every bumper shot, every drop target etc if you play around 70+ volume lol. I tested it on the apartment below mine... thankfully it's family and it's above their bathroom and kitchen lol. So i can play pretty much maxed out and it's LOUD.
Sorry if this is not the place to ask but, can anyone recommend a good forum to seek tech assistance with setting up my Legends Pinball to work with PC? The OTG support for plunger and nudge don't seem to work will in programs like Future Pinball and Visual Pinball. Would really like a place to go with supportive people that can help.
IMHO the zaccaria tables make this machine worth playing. The gotliebs are a disappointment in terms of functionality with sound and haptic syncing being just off and zaccaria is spot on.
Absolutely, that's what puts me off buying one of these tables, can it not run Pinball FX tables etc. Star Wars, The Walking Dead, ET, Aliens, Back to the Future etc etc

Good news they should fit on the 16GB partition. I believe they are about 2GB for all 4 packs (105 games).

For the Zaccaria games yes and yes
The ball roll and flippers are subtle, but the bumpers and drop targets etc, all THUMP with satisfying results.
I ordered Volume 4 for my ALU 1.1.
Do I have to use a different USB than the one I use for my CoinopsX flash drive X?
I’ve got a partitioned drive for my CoinopsX setup so I’m guessing I need to take that out and put a different usb in for the flash drive X process for Zaccaria?
You can use the same drive if the partition you made for FlashDriveX is large enough, a few GB.
I got the ALP delivered on Monday with only the base 22 tables. I was hoping to order the ALU Plus One in the Summer Sale today that comes with 105 Zacaria tables (packs 1-4) plus the Taito 1 & 2 packs to use on the ALP instead of the ALU thinking they will work on either. But customer service at AtGames just told me that the ALP and ALU use different paks that are not compatible, so the paks that come with the ALU will not work on the ALP. Bummer. Any comments? Thanks!

I just got my table and I have no tables - the original gottliebs are not great. Any idea when arcadenet gets us the tables?

@@PDubsArcadeLoft and why couldn’t Farsight just sell us the 11 Stern tables they push on Steam for native play. That cost nearly $50 on Steam anyway, and I’d rather not have to pay for BYOG to play Ripley’s, Frankenstein, or Starship Troopers.

So out of all the stock and additional game packs which is your personal best virtual pinball table?
I asked At Games support a couple times and they replied with non sensical answers so hopefully you can answer what should be a simple question. If I select download pinball packs to my Arcade net account do I always have to be online to play them? If my internet is out will they still be accessible? If I download to device they will still be accessible. For some reason At Games would not provide a straight answer to this question.
Good question Matthew. I would say you wouldn't but then again you have to be logged in to play most games. I am going to try it tonight for you. I'll take off the web and I'll come back tomorrow.

Thanks as always for sharing this wonderful content! I had a quick question, though you may not know the answer. I just got my email from AtGames to complete my purchase for the 4 Zaccaria gamepacks for Legends Ultimate Pinball Machine. Problem is, I don't have my machine yet and the last update I got is Wave 3, the wave I'm in, estimated ship time is sometime late March or in April. I reached out to AtGames via email a few days ago to ask them if it was safe for me to make my purchase now, because I don't have the Legends Pinball Table yet. I didn't want anything to expire. I still haven't heard back, so I thought I might peep you. Do you know if it's safe to buy gamepacks early even though I don't have the Legends Ultimate Pinball Machine? If you don't know, that's ok, but I thought I'd reach out.

Love the games. They look very good and I am happy I bought them on NOD. I noticed that the Legends logo reflects a lot on the pinball glass. Is that common?

Nice review. Here's my question as someone who doesn't own or plan on getting an AtGames pinball machine but does have a vertical Legends Connect (which of course can't play this yet, but hopefully AtGames fixes that soon): how does the non pinball machine version of these tables hold up? I saw a Micheal B video and was concerned the graphics looked muddy. Also, if you were to recommend one of the sets, which would you suggest? Great video, Dubs!
I will be testing and have a video out for that soon.
II prefer the solid state version of the tables or the remakes not a huge fan of the 50s retro versions but they are fun to play here and there.

Can I buy this for the Legends Pinball, and take the flash drive to play it on the Legends Ultimate. But I hear, the game will be optimized for each device. If that is so, and we can use the same usb drive for both, then it should make sense to buy it for the Legends Pinball, right?

How does it work. I got a code for the tables do I download it onto any flash drive I have and then use flash drive on my pinball machine? If so what flash drive do you recommend I buy?
Now to figure out should i also pick up the volume 5 or wait untill its on sale like the rest?
If you put in the codes and attach it to the device can you play these tables 100% offline? I'd rather not leave my table connected to the internet (I'm wave 4).

Do you have to hook usb to a computer and fat 32 it before formatting on pinball machine or can I just put a usb in the atgames and format and download from there without using a computer?

They work.
Idk if they changed out their hardware with their latest wave in May/June 2022 but the speakers BUMP on mine. I was shocked... if you have downstairs neighbors they're going to hear every bumper shot, every drop target etc if you play around 70+ volume lol. I tested it on the apartment below mine... thankfully it's family and it's above their bathroom and kitchen lol. So i can play pretty much maxed out and it's LOUD.

Sorry if this is not the place to ask but, can anyone recommend a good forum to seek tech assistance with setting up my Legends Pinball to work with PC? The OTG support for plunger and nudge don't seem to work will in programs like Future Pinball and Visual Pinball. Would really like a place to go with supportive people that can help.

IMHO the zaccaria tables make this machine worth playing. The gotliebs are a disappointment in terms of functionality with sound and haptic syncing being just off and zaccaria is spot on.
People want more original classics from Williams, Ballys, etc, not these cartoonish, generic titles from Zarcharria.
Absolutely, that's what puts me off buying one of these tables, can it not run Pinball FX tables etc. Star Wars, The Walking Dead, ET, Aliens, Back to the Future etc etc
