- What makes a good life? Lessons from the longest study on happiness from Harvard.
A group of people scientists from Harvard asked these questions 80 years back , which resulted in the longest ever done research on happiness. The ongoing study is called the Harvard Study of Adult Development, started in 1938 and its goal was to observe people for an entire lifetime in order to determine what really keeps people happy and healthy throughout life.
The clearest message they got from this study was:
Good relationships keep us happier and healthier!
Meaningful relationships are a prescription for better emotional, mental, and physical health.
