Kinda ironic to use a superboss to defeat a final boss, i think, i never played this game before.
Yeeah although it was utterly satisfactory to watch him obliterate the apparent final boss

I renember abusing the job system so that every character in my party could master practically anything, so I would use Carver for like healing and shit, and also a crap ton on metal slime king grinding, 100% worth it.
As a kid I spent days getting my favorite party members to max Hero vocation. Iirc it was Ashlynn, Goowain, and I think Carver. I then just spammed Giga Slash.
So by the time I got around to this boss fight I was level 80 and had maxed out the main 4 characters I used in all their vocations minus the liquid metal slime when I found out the requirements to get multiple I said fuck this and just went for this boss after grinding it wasn't easy but I did get it done in under 20 turns the first try I thought I over leveled when I went to level 80 if I'm being honest due to my experience with the earlier games and the fragments of the past one I couldn't have been more wrong I barely did it under 20 turns which is what happens when your having 2 of the 4 characters heal every turn this was a super boss done right but not a secret ending done right should have let us keep ashlynn in the secret ending
congrats! I agree there should have been more closure with Ashlynn in a different ending, but I still found this ending to be satisfying
@@zaxuwu9402 never said it wasn't satisfying seeing the boss absolutely played with by the super boss because I agree that was satisfying but not really a great ending it left the 1 thing I really hoped for unfulfilled saving at least 1 person from that destroyed city and I grew to like her as a character she was actually my favorite character beside gowain (dont have the original game just the ds version) hated Terry hated mille hated neven hated the mc just because he doesn't talk so the only people I liked were Carver and ashlynn anyway thanks for responding and this is just my take on it I'm sure others will be completely satisfied

"Monsters" from the game's OST. It's the regular boss theme for the game.

ashlynn thief mightve been personal preference I dont actually remember its been two years since I played this game 😅 i dont remember if there was any in-game reasoning or whats up with that. It couldve been related to having every character as a different class for variety sake

I wouldn't say that. It was kinda fun to watch to watch a demon sorcerer get his shit wrecked by a tall man in thong armor. Lol
well most people probably do this after they beat the final boss already (you can not save after the last boss so loading up the game kind of puts you before the end egain).
