Yeah, this and Terry's fight with Lizzie looked amazing. The developers really created some great animations for the IV-VI remakes on the DS. These games are awesome!
Oh. The one and only. Mortamor the Unbeatable a.k.a. "Watch my hands, sucker" a.k.a. "OK, you have a couple of days to grind more levels and come back".
Always attack the left hand. It has Kazing. After that, attack his right, because it has zing with a 50% fail rate. Then, attack him all you got! Use undead undoer to attack him, but be quick though
Always thought Deathmore had three phases: Old man disguise, transformed old man and true form. True form was a titanic demon, with only the hands and face actually making it into the battle area which was suspended on a magic circle like Calasmos/Necron fights.
@@windspch7177 I cannot remember which vocations give boosts. You can check at the Alltrades Abbey. Try and give the hero and carver an attack heavy vocation. Nevan and milly can focus on healing and buffs. Ashlynn should be given the one with more MP(mage? Not sure).
I had Ashlynn complete all the Vocations at level 60 on my first play through (back then I never used vocations cause I never paid attention to the dialogues). So it's possible, by fighting underwater monsters, to add vocation points and not much exp points and achieve what this player has done.
I give up on this. I hate it. I don't want to keep grinding and grinding forever, it takes so long to level up and there are no good areas. This boss is fucking ridiculous and i don't want to deal with it anymore. Fucking hell... The difficulty on this boss is unreasonably higher than literally anything else in the game.
Felt this. Hope you beat it, but I agree. It’s strange going through the whole game having little issues on all bosses and enemies and just breezing through Mortamor’s castle and then getting completely wiped out with no room to cast any buffs or healing on your party. Then finding out that all the best spells are locked behind vocations that will take another 5-10 more hours of grinding to unlock. I also hate going through 10 pages of spells to find the one you need for the moment. But yeah I don’t blame you, I don’t wanna do this no more.
Holy shit. Those animations are GORGEOUS.
This animation creates the same as Dragon Ball Akira Toriyama is the legend.

I'm pretty sure Akira Toriyama didn't animate those, he is an manga artist and is credited for the designs of the monsters and characters
I like how 8 years later this video is still relatable to me, at this point I've beaten every dragon quest but Vi is My favorite.
Nice to hear, same here

He just wrecked my face last night. I accidentally killed the right hand first. Immediate Kazing. Right hand is back. I died shortly after...
Ooo they changed that shit in dq9. never played this one veteran but I took him on and almost got smoked every part of him had kazing
7:48 Haunter I choose you!
Andross too xD
Excellent fight!
+TimelordR I had to work on my vocations for this one.

I'm on this boss right now. I managed to make it to his last form but then he got me.
Perfect final boss, don't @ me
This and psaro are probably my favorites of the series
thnx for the video man its very nostalgic
Holy shit, the legacy fight in 9 does this fight absolutely no justice
Are you joking? He doesn't mess around in that game at all. Sure, you have more freedom in classes and stuff but LV99 Mortamor is damn tough...
@@EverestBlizzard doesn’t each part of his body eventually get two turns each?
@@idontthinktheysawthatcomin6792 I think? Not sure
@@idontthinktheysawthatcomin6792 I think so, even at level 1 he's a whole ass problem. every part of his body knows kazing
You sure have grinded
4th wall, thy name is Mortamor final phase.

I had a hard time with this boss until I figured out what order to attack him in his final form.
Anyone know who is best to equip duplic hat?
why does this remind me so much of dbz
It basically is lol mortamor is master roshi if he turned satanic
The same guy makes the art
He's a badass
3:42 Dabura from DBZ, if he were a Jojo character.
funky boss lol
2nd form is just omega shenron
7:53 I played this game nonstop about 5 years ago, and pray tell, could this be the inspiration for Mega Satan from The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth?
What level do your characters have to be to defeat Mortamor?
well you it is possible on level 35 but try grinding toabout level 50
i'm now level 72
I did it on level 43
When did you learn those habilities do you have to put a vocation por something?
Yes. You have to keep grinding. Bosses aren't at all difficult with the right vocations completed.
@@TheBTA so which vocation do I have to put to each character?

Vs mortamor
You are a demigod for uploading this video though not a god
How the hell did you get them to all be Heros by Level 45?
Grinding
@@TheBTA I thought only Reek can get the hero class?

So basically hes estark the manslayer with more steps
Estark the manslayer? lol
u mean psaro the manslayer or just estark..
So this is what Toffee did to Glossaryck after he betrayed Star. He made him into a demon.
