This is the ‘reality tv’ that I crave! Nina you’re a consummate professional opening the doors to a world plebs like me never see. I’ve never been on a yacht and likely never will, but I love to see it through your perspective! My favourite breakfast would be a full English, door step toast and a mug of tea! For anyone who has ever worked in food service / hospitality on a professional level this video is so amazing only a true chef would be so excited the day that new provisions are being brought onboard. Working on a Luxury Super Yacht is an adventure in itself. You have to be top level to pull off these amazing meals tirelessly 7 days a week. Nina you Sean and the other crew members work like a well oiled machine. While traveling around parts of the world most of us will never see. Three thumbs up!
I'm totally in awe of your enthusiasm, positiveness and "nothing is a bother" attitude. I also envy your organisational skills. Absolutely impressive. Greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪.
Between you and Sean I am amazed at the speed and efficiency.. as an amateur cook(will never call myself a chef) I am in awe of your kitchen and the breads you make . Kudos to you both be cool from Cape Town
Don't worry about not being a chef, I've worked hospitality with chefs who, quite honestly, can barely cook. They make nice plate decorations and make for a good photo but you'd scrape your plate onto the compost heap if you could. (Obviously I'm not talking about these guys).
Loved it! Eggs Benedict is probably one of my favorite breakfast foods, and while I'm no cook, much less a chef, you can tell that higher quality establishments know how to make them while run-of-the-mill or average restaurants just don't. A lovely view! I'm so glad you became part of the MY _Loon_ crew. It seems like such a perfect fit for you (and thanks to the owner for hiring you)!
You beat me to it, the secret is 100% fresh made sauce. There are some remarkably good commercial made versions but they are all made on oil and can't compete or compare with real stovetop-made, butter based Hollandasie. It's my favourite sauce and I was fortunate enough to be taught how to make it (and a few others) by a French-trained saucier. It's so simple but so hard to get just right. Something that comes out of a squeeze bottle just can not compare. @@the_crewchef
Nina reminded of a top rated surgeon but a culinary surgeon. Highly professional~ epic vibes and OCD organization skills. Instant sub! Watching you create art in your kitchen is the best medicine. Wonderful content!❤

Not all yachts are super yachts. A 90 foot yacht might have crew quarters and a decent galley, but often has no decent walk-in cooler for food storage. Yacht professionals:. Am I wrong? Any of you refuse to to work on small yachts because of inadequate facilities?
As much as I loathe that Bravo melodrama/reality series about yacht crews I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL CHEF!! This bird’s eye view is endlessly fun, fascinating & illuminating! Thank you for sharing Chef, the effort is sincerely appreciated! ❤️💐🥂

That sourdough bread you baked looked delicious! Thank you for another great video 🙏🏻🥰 My favourite breakfast that I always get when on holiday is scrambled egg on sourdough toast (with butter), with cheese and ham on the side, and fresh strong coffee. With an orange or grapefruit juice to finish. Nice and simple but feels like luxury!
I could watch Nina provision and chef all day and night long. In fact, when she doesn't post new content I simply re-watch previous videos. I'm a weirdo, she's a star !
Her scrambled eggs look so good in this video. I'm all about those cranberry muffins with white chocolate too. Ty for another upload!! One of my favorite breakfast things no longer exists sadly. It's called a breakfast pizza. Specifically the ones a company called Red Baron used to make. They're still around and are known for their frozen pizza's in the grocery store. But they had 4 different types of breakfast pizza's. They all had this kind of biscuit crust and a pleasant light white sauce for the base with a blend of two cheese's and little cubes of scrambled eggs. The varieties were sausage, bacon and a western (green onions/red bell peppers) all of which were finely chopped for a nice bite.
Love the behind the scenes! There comes a time when baking from scratch isn't necessary and well done for knowing this! Everybody wins with amazing baked goods!
Love this …. Eggs Benny & salmon all day !!! The main reason many of us watch Below Deck is for the food & what happens in the galley . I can binge watch this all night !
What an all-out effort for your guests. So professional and your dished look incredible. I hope you're having a nice transit across the pond to WPB.. Cheers! WiL
Hi Chef Nina. Your enthusiasm, cheeriness, and overall bright outlook are amazing. Congrats on getting married. I'm 100% addicted to your outlook on things. If I could be 10% as cheery, I'd be thrilled. LOLOLOL Signed a cranky old man in Chicagoland USA. PS, I'ma great chef myself. I took around 100 different classes from Chicago's best and most unique chefs. I'm happiest when I'm in the kitchen making a meal for family and friends. So satisfying. I even like cleaning up after myself and take alot of pride in keeping my fully commercial home kitchen spic and span. Cheers and happy holidays to you, your husband, and your crew mates. God Bless and smooth sailing. Thanks for the uplifting and informative videos. Truly appreciated
Thanks for sharing, it's always fascinating to view the galley and the storage areas. I love to 'sea' all the different presentation techniques, it can be very artful, i think.
My all time favorite breakfast is Sausage gravy and biscuits with scrambled eggs. My wife is a southern gal and she makes the best gravy. She cooks the sausage and removes the sausage then with the grease makes a rue with flower. She add milk after the flour has cooked. Then she add a touch of chicken bullion and a pinch of salt which really enhances the flavor and adds back in the crumbled sausage and cooks it for the flavors to meld. Simple but oh so filling.
That's one of my favorites too. This morning I made 3 eggs over medium, potatoes with onion and peppers, biscuits and gravy, bacon and sausage links, juice and coffee. I make the best gravy I've ever tasted and my biscuits are so light and fluffy that you have to tie them down to the platter so they don't float across the room.
Breakfast order: brown butter & brown sugar crusted waffle, with macerated berries and Chantilly cream. Obviously some poached eggs on a smashed lemon avocado toast as well!
It can be celebrated like a holiday especially when your very low on food supplies and taking care of your guests desires is always first and foremost.
The legendary Sourdough returns! Absolutely loving your new content. Ideal breakfast? Being from the UK, it has to be a Full English with some fresh orange juice to wash it down.
I love watching it all come together. I agree, the crates are a big deal. Not being a breakfast eater in general, I would probably drive you crazy with my order: miso soup, eggs and stir fried cruciferous vegetables in gochujang with a side of something fermented. Mostly I just have coffee with heavy cream and sweetener.
Know what you mean about authentic French made croissants. My first trip to Paris in around 1995 I ate a full breakfast...yogurt, fruit, hot breakfast and decided to top it off with a croissant with butter and jam. Could not believe how good it was, so light...ended up eating six. Seriously addictive.
My breakfast order would be simple since I'm not a huge eater in the morning. Plain scrambled eggs very dry, or any of these others: toast w/butter, plain pancakes with butter/syrup. Coffee, glass of milk or orange juice. Bacon would be crispy. I would be the easiest person to cook for. LOL
Huge smile on my face... and it will last days. Thanks so much. You have no idea how much pleasure you bring. Please keep it up. You and the crew are world class... top of the game. And to be able to be there, vicariously, is worth its weight in gold. Thank you so much, again.

Great Chefs! Energy is Tops. And "DAMN" that food looks Yummy Yummy! Thank you for Posting!
Thank goodness I ate before watching this, it all looked amazing. The hash with jalepeno sauce would be it, for me. I love your behind the scenes videos. Most people have no idea what goes on in restaurant kitchens, let alone super yacht kitchens. Catering to guests and crew, fascinating for me. Thanks, Nina.
