- In promotion of The Flaming Lips' 'Heady Nuggs: 20 Years After Clouds Taste Metallic' release from 2015, Wayne Coyne and Steven Drozd sat down to recall the recording process for 1995's 'Clouds Taste Metallic'.
These guys make pure magic and somehow Ronald Jones made it even better. Transmissions + Clouds forever

My fave album, I love the Ronald mix version too. I traded a Saturday Morning cartoon theme cover CD for it to my cousin in the 90s. It was hard to find Lips stuff in my town growing up.

Couldn't be more rock than Clouds?? As much as it is, there's no way you can say it is more than Transmissions. No way. Only Chewin On the Apple of Your Eye is the only soft one, Plastic Jesus. Total guitar, bass and drums instrumentation.
