He makes a lot of art for the Flaming Lips and he has only improved. Kings mouth was actually made as the soundtrack to one of his art shows
he talked about that he drew it during a yahoo interview too and that blew my mind, a really good sentiment for not thinking about things too much and just going with the flow.

Love the album and album cover so much...any time I see the album cover come up when a song from the album comes on it's comforting for some reason.

Fantastic. This album is as sonically important as Dark Side, in my estimation. Timeless. I still watch the 5.1 Yoshimi DVD all the time. Lots of hours with that😎.
I’ll never forget the first time I realized an old Time Life magazine cover on LSD was where the Soft Bulletin cover image originated. I’d previously assumed it was a cool picture of Steven. 🤯🤯🤯
