@@acidhousetherapy we do not have an Expression Ramper here to test, but looking at the manual you would use AB mode. "In AB mode, the motion is one-shot: when the footswitch is hit, Expression Ramper will move to B...or move to A...at the speed set by the rate, then stop when it arrives." So. Assuming it is at the "A" value, you would set the "A" knob positions on the Particle, press the footswitch, wait for it to settle, set the "B" knob positions on the Particle, then save the Particle's expression configuration. You can also use the web editor to set up the expression mapping.

Yes, the current expression pedal setup is saved with the preset. Just configure the expression pedal, set the knobs, save the preset, and repeat for each preset. After you have set up the presets, you can set the global expression pedal setup that is active when no preset is loaded.
Thank you for this. I’m wondering, if the Chop knob is in Freeze territory for one extreme of expression pedal travel, but not for the other extreme, will Freeze still be indicated by the LED changing color? Hope I asked that clearly/accurately 😅
When I want to visibly make sure my expression pedal is working with Tensor, I set one expression pedal extreme to timestretch and one to time compress, so the LED changing color clearly illustrates the travel of the treadle is truly working.
Yes, the LED changes color based on whether it is frozen at that instant. Meaning either the freeze footswitch is held, or the input signal is below the auto-freeze volume threshold.

Make sure you are using a TRS cable connected to the EXP OUT jack. Looking at the specifications and wiring diagram in the Ampero Press manual, it should work. However, the schematic in the manual has the ring and sleeve flipped from what we usually see. It should still work, but might the direction might be backwards. @@redpandalab Thanks for the advice! I couldn't working so bought an EV5 instead. This now works but I'm having an issue saving the expression settings when I unplug the expression pedal or Particle, so I have to create the settings again each time. Any ideas why this might be? thank you!
Yes, the FV-500H's EXP out jack with a TRS cable should be compatible. We test every pedal with a Boss EV-5 which is similar in design to the FV-500H's expression output.

Yes, the OBNE expression ramper works with our pedals using 50K (default) or 10K digital potentiometers.

this doesn't seem to work with my hotone ampero press 2-in-1 volume expression pedal - any ideas?
