I noticed in this vid you were using the Ventrac with your black-wrapped engine housing. However, at the end of your vid, when you were giving us a peek into the next big job, the Ventrac had a standard white engine housing. Maybe it was the angle of the shot and the lighting, but it looked white. Did you change mowers, or do you have two Ventracs?
Hey Ed! Thanks for watching. I appreciate the support. I had to do a double take as well in the video. It is actually the same Ventrac with the black hood, but the sun is hitting it just right to where it looks like it’s a completely different tractor. I just have the one Ventrac. Maybe someday I’ll get another! Thanks again for watching. 👍
That rough cut does leave that looking much nicer. Not a fan of pushing the cut trees of into the woods like that, but I'm not the customer nor paying for the work so I don't count. Thanks for the video.
Slicks it down pretty good! Yeah, I would have rather hauled it off after cutting it down. But the customer didn’t pay for me to haul it off, so I just pushed it into the woods. A couple years from now and there won’t be much left of those trees. They’ll break down pretty quick. Appreciate you watching!

How’s the tires and the tough cut blades holding up with the ruff areas you cut?
The Tough Cut blades get roughed up pretty good after a while. But I’ve been keeping them sharp. If I get into a lot of woody material, I’ll sharpen them a little more. Grass doesn’t really phase them much. The tires on the Tough Cut deck are pretty much shot. Need to get some new ones. The tires on the Ventrac are holding up great. Appreciate you watching! 👍
Cameron, I know you run up on 🐍 sometimes bc Missouri has rattle snakes. What do you do about it ?
Hey Michael! Thanks for watching. There are definitely a lot of snakes around here. I try not to get off the Ventrac unless I know that area, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. One of the reasons I wear, the tall, tactical boots. On the jobs, I’ve tackled, You’ll see a copperhead before a rattlesnake. Neither one are any good though. I just try to stay on the machine as much as I can. Another reason why I don’t walk the properties before I mow. Thanks again for watching!

Maybe not throw the bicycle wheel into the woods. Maybe properly dispose of it. Not trying to be a tree hugger or anything. Just thinking might be a better idea.
I know, right. I was about a 1/4 mile from the truck and didn’t have a place to discard it. There is a lot of debris there in the woods. I don’t know if there was a junk pile there years ago or what, but all kinds of stuff left in the woods from years ago. Appreciate you watching!
