Mostlysane has always been like this. I remember watching her interview Hrithik in her pre Bollywood debut days, and she would not let the man speak! I think people like her and Beerbiceps like listening to their own voice, and don't care too much about what the other has to say.
@@laba3423haha Yeaa the quality of his podcast is terrible. I watch it only for the guests. He lacks intense research on the guest so ends up asking superficial questions. Whereas podcasts like theories of everything is topic intensive and really fruitful to the listener. Beerbiceps goes for only the views.
Jammy your interviews are great but here are some suggestions - 1. Start directly addressing a question more often instead repeating "one of the things I love" 2. Giving equal chance to all people is good but you can divide it in 3-2-2 - where lead actor gets more meaty questions 3. if the interview goes in other direction, break the circle of questioning & ask important questions that are left 4. if possible, introduce rapid fire related to their work (they love it)
Recently saw a 2002 interview of Al Pacino in the David Letterman talk show. That was one sweet and endearing one with so much of laughter and fun moments. This was such good content! Interviews might have become friendly conversations over the years, but that doesn't mean u forget basic courtesy and respect. After all, the guest is in that position for some valid reason.
i really like how sakshama interviews people where she puts the person in front of her center stage and also brings up tricky questions with so much grace and also tries to clearly convey what she is expecting and also gives them a clear option to not answer too
Once upon a time in Hollywood cast interview with Josh Horowitz was sooo much fun and genuine, the guy really loved the cinema and asked such fun questions about movies. That's my all time favourite
A nice observation. The issue is all these new-age influencers and there are quite a bunch of them now, try and interrupt guests to get their own sad stories and branding out. Sneha Menon Desai on FC is an exception, where she is exceptionally good at engaging with the guests. But so many of them are dancing with their guests, telling their own stories to garner mileage.

Prajakta has been given way more popularity thsn she deserves, i wonder how netfix production has allowed this to happen and not edited out . This is just disrespectful .
I feel some interviewers just don't have any kind of empathy or even ethics while conducting interviews. I really don't understand how can interviewers get so personal with guests, especially in situations of them being emotional vulnerable, in the case of Shashi kapoor and Juhi Chawla. It gets to point of the viewer feeling disgusted, I'm sure the guest if not for the cameras would get up and slap or just leave the interview mid way.
One of the best interviewers I have seen online is the guy from Hot Ones. Every question the guy asks is so well put and researched, even the celebrities are pleasantly surprised by his intriguing questions

I still remember that interview by some entitled host with Rana during bahubali. The entire time I could feel her looking down on the film as if it was some South film and they were doing it a favour by interviewing the actors. Rana's replies were so satisfying to watch. Of course you covered that in previous episodes.
Nowadays everyone is trying to be extra frank with the guest, showing themselves as their friends (popularity of unfiltered by samdish is the fuel behind this, but he is excellent and authentic). I can understand they want to get out of the traditional interview setup but please at least come up with some rehearsals and respect the guest's worth
I never thought of this side of the struggle that actors have to endure. If a journalist has not been trained in their degrees on how to conduct a professional interview maybe they should retrain themselves. We need more such videos. 🙌
Netflix did a great job with Anubhav Singh Bassi and Zakir Khan as well as Tanmay Bhat but who in the right mind thought Prajakta and Aishwarya Mohanraj would be good additions as well
Janice interviews and podcasts are always like that. She is friends with most of her guests and she tries to prove that point to audience by outputting their personal conversations. She tries so hard that it feels so cringe. And my god, she interrupts a lot and she dont know how to frame her thoughts. 🙏🏻

Sidhdharth Kannan off late has come out to be as one of the best interviewer. His recent interviews with Vikram Bhatt,Kamal Sadanah are testament of the same.
hes toned down his approach way more. It has benefited the interactions as they become more about the guests
@@TriedRefusedProductions also Jammy, you must have heard the sad news of Abhradeep aka Angry Rantman, with whom you collaborated once for a Matlab Kuch Bhi episode, has passed away. May his soul rest in peace
@@TriedRefusedProductions yeah he got trained by you isn’t it 😂
Not really. He thrives on sensationalism. Did you see the content and the click bait titles he comes up with?
Aishwariya is so witty, charming and strong. I like that she has always understood herself and this world around her and does not mollycoddle fools.
great topic for today's video. I've been following you from Pakistan for many years now and you've evolved from a young, stable-minded boy to a kind and empathetic man. wish you more luck and success!
You forgot abt beer biceps ,sometimes he just goes way over the board , cant use proper words in the podcasts ...
That guy only knows about death, aliens and Yeti 😂
😂😂😂@@thegreenjellybean77
Still better that aunty Kjo😂
and every conversation is a "Deep" conversation
Don't lie you are her after his recent podcast with tiger and ak😂😂
I remembered watching an interview of Tabu and Rajeev Masand, where he asked Tabu about how she's still unmarried, similar to her character in "Kandukondain kandukondain", and Tabu was seemingly upset and on the verge of crying, but he kept asking questions with a mischievous grin. Surprisingly, none of the comments mentioned or showed concerned anywhere!
Shahrukh and Aish gave it back with a bang! That’s how you do it!
Parineeti is extremely beautiful …. Naturally Beautiful.
True,,,she is tall and has all features on her face,,, while prajakta chin is so different
6:57 absolute sigma ASH bar none one of the OG MOGGERS
Mostlysane has always been like this. I remember watching her interview Hrithik in her pre Bollywood debut days, and she would not let the man speak! I think people like her and Beerbiceps like listening to their own voice, and don't care too much about what the other has to say.
Beerbiceps actually listens and he asks too many questions but he lets his guests speak.
@@motherofmusambi when you are doing atleast one hour long discussion , it leaves time for guest tospeak
Why did Jammy remove Prajakta and Parineeti section of the video
Jammy your interviews are great but here are some suggestions -
1. Start directly addressing a question more often instead repeating "one of the things I love"
2. Giving equal chance to all people is good but you can divide it in 3-2-2 - where lead actor gets more meaty questions
3. if the interview goes in other direction, break the circle of questioning & ask important questions that are left
4. if possible, introduce rapid fire related to their work (they love it)
6:43 she is so witty
Beauty with brains ❤
I was searching this comment
Now Respect for her is increased ❤️
OMG, How could she say that also in her face?! it was nice of Parineeti to go along with her😭
Prajakta would have just said I am so inspired by you. One should always remain humble
How can you forget the latest one Shehnaz gill's show 😂😂😂😂
that show desrerves an individual case study
That doesn't even qualify as an interview 😂
Recently saw a 2002 interview of Al Pacino in the David Letterman talk show. That was one sweet and endearing one with so much of laughter and fun moments. Both the interviewer and the studio audience were so warm and welcoming... And the legendary Al was so much at ease. Didn't want that interview to end❤
Jammy cooked! Cook em 😂😂😂. Honestly the examples you gave are accurate depictions of how one shouldn't conduct interveiws. I was frustrated too! It is so important to listen with genuine curiosity as Anumpama Chopra says than shove your opinions down someone.
my eyes bled when i watched mismatch......prajakta was okay till then but after mismatched its a no no
yeah I feel the same
bro you collected some seriously disturbing interview moments, but it highlights a very problematic issue with the new age wanna interviewers! thank you!
Simi Grewal is such a good interviewer.. she should start her show again.. she can ask most difficult of questions with such grace
Nobody can compete with her when it comes to asking difficult and taboo questions to celebs. She does that with such a poise and suave. Miss her old school interviews. 😢😢❤❤
I felt the same after watching the interview and I was like is it just me who's finding it really insulting, glad you pointed it out, your personal take is no more personal😄
I Think You Should Watch Your Own Conversation with Jaane Jaan Cast.
give us the tea
Haha, I mean if you see the video, You'll realise I reference it being all over the place. I clearly referenced it as it being a mess
Check prajakthas interview with priyanka, about a year ago, she made it totally about herself and even compared herself as an equal to priyanka.. it was actually funny. 😅
I like anupamas interviews, so professional, about the film and craft,,
The shashi kapoor interview , you've mentioned for the 2nd time in your video.
In fact prabhu chavla and shahrukh's interview part he showed for the second time...whenever youtubers lack content they just make videos on repetative topic
So? It very much pertains to this video

Jammy you're the Marques Brownlee of Movie reviews.
I'm not sure if you'll understand the reference but Marques is considered the best Tech Reviewer on the Planet and in my opinion you're the best movie reviewer/critic on the planet.
You as a person and your content is so straightforward, simple yet has the nuances and niche bases covered. Very professional yet not afraid to give their 2 cents and personal essence to anything that you do.
Big respect for you man👌🏾💪🏾🙏🏾
Also note that both you and Marques occasionally interview people from your industry and both of you do it in a similar professional and fun manner.
Prajakta has been given way more popularity thsn she deserves, i wonder how netfix production has allowed this to happen and not edited out . This is just disrespectful .
I think people these days just don't know when and where to stop
I feel some interviewers just don't have any kind of empathy or even ethics while conducting interviews. I really don't understand how can interviewers get so personal with guests, especially in situations of them being emotional vulnerable, in the case of Shashi kapoor and Juhi Chawla. It gets to point of the viewer feeling disgusted, I'm sure the guest if not for the cameras would get up and slap or just leave the interview mid way.
Goon to soon Angry Rantman, I followed him since you both collaborated... Om Shanti
What? The guy with glasses that shouts in his videos is dead? How?
Timestamp 6:22 Absolute Man!
One of the best interviewers I have seen online is the guy from Hot Ones. Every question the guy asks is so well put and researched, even the celebrities are pleasantly surprised by his intriguing questions
The Parineeti clip made my feet, spine and hair curl with cringe
Why did Jammy remove Prajakta and Parineeti section of the video
@@rf653 yeah.. the reason this video got so much attention is because what happened with parineeti .
best interviewer is according to me is unfiltered by samdish he brings out tha natural person from those PR train people no stupid questions feels like he is having fun with his friend
He has a natural flow in his interviews. The humor may sometimes get slightly out of hand with his energy but his intention always brings out gems!
One of the good interviewers for sure but certainly not the best one! Sometimes he interrupts a guest on a level of irritation. He doesn't let the guests speak. And as Jammy said, not a great sense of humor at all.
Asking so much personal things have been trend after kwk.. Everyone thought its their right to know.. I like how Amir show karan his place.. Love AK for this
I still remember that interview by some entitled host with Rana during bahubali. The entire time I could feel her looking down on the film as if it was some South film and they were doing it a favour by interviewing the actors. Rana's replies were so satisfying to watch. Of course you covered that in previous episodes.
Another superlative episode! Well done Amol!
So sad to hear news about death of Angry Rantman. OM Shanti🙏
Who?
Really? Omg. I was subscribed to his channel for a long time & wondered why he had stopped uploading. Om shanti 🙁
what really, what happened?

Nowadays everyone is trying to be extra frank with the guest, showing themselves as their friends (popularity of unfiltered by samdish is the fuel behind this, but he is excellent and authentic). I can understand they want to get out of the traditional interview setup but please at least come up with some rehearsals and respect the guest's worth
I never thought of this side of the struggle that actors have to endure. If a journalist has not been trained in their degrees on how to conduct a professional interview maybe they should retrain themselves. We need more such videos. 🙌
It was painful to watch Juhi cry and the interviewer kept pushing her more with no empathy
Tried&Refused Productions., You're the best! I just had to subscribe!
What Prajakta look like Parineeti ? 😂😂😂😂 Prajakta has to look into mirror again , Parineeti is way higher legue than Prajakta in terms of look
Frankly speaking, I don't know when the times will get changed and celebrities stop giving the interviews to those who don't even know the abc of journalism. The good news is we have you and your way of speaking, talking and interacting with the people and sticking and adhering to the line of questions that are really associated with them and their art is completely incredible and superbly commendable. You are a true blue cinephile for a reason ❤
Sakshma Srivastava is a good interviewer
Shashi Kapoor was indeed the best Kapoor who did the most challenging roles esp. of fundamentalist Punjabi muslim roles, he looked so much like one of my large family members, even the gestures and wisdom are alike.
Why have you removed the Parineeti and Prajakta section?
Did Prajakta or her powerful friends call you?
Interviewers get a chance to interview director about the craft, the technical aspects of filmmaking or discussing the metaphors but they choose to ask Oh! What's your fav breakfast or when was the last time you shit your pants? Come on! Man I want my metaphors to be answered not just breakfast discussions. That's why I love your interviews and depth that you go into even Russo brothers acknowledged it.
Dhyan Srinivasan getting interviewed by Prabhu Chawla. Absolute cinema ! 😂
Prajakta was always over-enthu cutlet
She is plain rude nothing about over enthusiasm
@@feb4282she may not be intentionally rude but she doesn't know when she crosses lines in her lively interactions
your ideas of content creation on movies are great. This video is an example of that.
Angry Rantman passed away yesterday and left for his heavenly abode. Your collaboration with him on one of Matlab Kuch bhi episode was good.
May Rantman keeps his Rant on from heaven.😢
Parineeti is way better looking,,, 😮 ppl these days do not see themselves in mirror or what?
Judi crying is just heart wrenching
Felt really bad for Juhi Chawala. She is such a nice being.
Content creators and influencers are already famous on social media..people love to watch their videos...appreciate it...but it hurts when people start mistaking them as artists.....!! Mostly when they get an acting job ...which is very sensible art ..!!
