A year ago, Himesh Mankad of Pinkvilla wrote an article outlining actor/actress fees. Reportedly, Ranbir, Ranveer, Varun, and Tiger were charging 35+ crores pre-pandemic, whereas Deepika, Alia, Anushka, Kareena, Katrina, and Priyanka all topped off at 15+ crores. That's just a wild disparity -- in today's times, only Ranbir can guarantee consecutive double-digit openings, so I understand his remuneration (he's the biggest star of his generation). But what have Varun and Tiger done to charge that much money? Especially considering actresses like Alia and Deepika are bigger globally and more bankable? They should focus more on their acting, and maybe people will actually watch their films in theatres. The aforementioned actresses actually know their craft.
Actually ranveer have more box office potentially than overhyped ranbir. Most of ranbir films are flop or average. How he is biggest star of this generation?
There is a reason. That is deepika and alia are bigger and more "bankable" as ACTRESSES. Put them in competition against actors. They will fall off. Varun gave blockbuster openings like Judwaa 2, abcd 2, main tera hero, badlapur, sui dhagaa, dulhania series. Tiger gave baaghi series, war, heropanti on his own. Now come to Alia and Deepika. Alia has had solo hits only in recent times with Raazi and Gangubai(she charged 20 crores). Even then she still hasn't crossed the lifetime collections of judwaa 2 or baaghi 2. So its clear Varun, Tiger attracts more audiences. Deepika on the other hand hasn't had a single solo hit other than Piku. All of her films are big budgeted movies with huge stars thats bound to do well. Put her in solo films, it flops. Thats the reason
And considering the situation of post pandemic, varun's films actually did really well. Both of his films earned 70 crores+. Thats huge considering only 4-5 movies crossed 100 crores in last few years.

A lot of people blame the actresses for not receiving higher pay. But the root of this problem lies in the kind of content that is produced in the Bollywood films. There are very few films which actually give agency to the female characters/heroine. Mostly they exist in the film to play the hero's love interest and dance in the songs. It is so hard to find films in which heroines actually move the plot and are not reduced to generic damsel in distress. Since this role can be fulfilled by any number of women, producers choose them instead of meeting the higher pay demands made by experienced actresses. A lot of heroines have been phased out by the industry for demanding equal pay because their role in movies is very dispensable. They were replaced as soon as there was another beautiful face Also while it is considered okay for the male actors to age, makers are always looking for younger and 'fresh' women. Even actresses in the olden days were required to look beautiful rather than act. This is another reason why actresses choose to compromise on pay and perks because they want to continue working

If there was payback, she would not have agreed to do a scene with him when he did a cameo appearance in her movie, nor would she have agreed to do a stage act with him, which they would have rehearsed before facing the audience and camera.
5:09 We should give him more credit because he’s really good!
6:18 I’ve heard this a lot and it’s sad that there isn’t that much solidarity because there should be. Just see what happened when ‘Udta Punjab’ released. I loved the group that was mobilised to help the makers.
How are you not tied to a tree and treated with joota pitai every day is something I don't understand
I just finished family man s2.That I want to salute u sar..u are a patriot sar” is hilarious!😂
Orry is the greatest person to ever exist (I'm very jealous of him too 😢)
I need to self reflect too!
@@TriedRefusedProductions Please review Telugu entertainer of the year Ani Manchi Sakunamule. Even Hriday Ranjan gave a positive review but you are intentionally ignoring it
‘Oye Lucky Lucky Oye’ really was a well cast movie.
Here we go again! Catching up with Lord Jammy, the purveyor of iconic moments in interviews.
Do give your insight lord Pokhraj
I really enjoyed Deepak's role in Ghulam and yes he's a very talented actor
I sometimes feel like salman is homelander of hindi cinema
Tbvh Bhai is still in his Bad Boy mode 😂😂
it comes and goes but it was constant for a few years in the mid 2000s
@@TriedRefusedProductions Why are you deliberately avoiding reviewing Ani Manchi Sakunamule and Naga Chaitanya's performance in Custody, even though they're blockbuster Telugu films?
9:23 damn the celebs were a different breed in the previous decades😂
Salman's answer should've been in a matlab kuch bhi episode
Its pathetic how Riya sushant and Aryan cases anyone can take whole nation on a ride. Wasting so much money and time of people.
That orry/oggy/offy what ever his name is fellow in the starting of the video was hilarious 😂😂😂😂
I liked the video in the first 18 seconds itself 👍
It feels illegal to be this early 😂
HAHAH! Glad you're here tho!
@slayer If you're looking for ways to boost your confidence and improve your looks, I suggest you take a look at Mahesh Babu's movies and see how it's done. Trust me, it'll do wonders for you.
Bollywood actors and there interviews are stories altogether 😊
Chup re
Anushka said something that's soo true...I even noticed that in pathaan and tiger Zinda hai promotions...the way the leading ladies were treated on set or throughout the promotions was really creepy and disrespectful!
Are you a crew members of film?
This Orry guy is everywhere these days . Now he made to your meme intro too.
that family man reaction uff 🤣🤣🤣
The intro was lit like always😂
I'm damn sure that the lead guy in nh10 made less money than anushka did..... It's not about the gender it's about who attracts more audience
She is the producer of that film you fo0l.. lol..
So you think femal actors can't attract audience.. does men wear extra chaddis?
Orry part is hilarious😂
0:11 Idk why people are having strong reactions to him because he’s literally the SoBo Boy Template.
its just jokes lol
7:17 My favourite part of that interview was him coming across the term intimacy coordinator. That’s a short film waiting to happen.
9:20 THAT is the argument being made here? That, he is so strong and has no self-control to hold back himself, so much so that he might kill the other person and since THAT didn't happen its proof that he didn't hit her. Do I have that right? 0.o
That intro is perfect👌
I WANT TO SALUTE YOU 😅
@@TriedRefusedProductions It's a fact that once you watch the trailer for the Telugu movie Spy, you'll be so impressed that you might find yourself saluting without even realizing it. Give it a try and see for yourself!
We're still waiting for the indian tv serial roast tho
it will happen this week :)
That's why I like Jackie sherof and vivek obroi 's interviews
I was shocked how Aishwariya rai in simi garewal show stated how she was replaced in Veer zaraa, chalte chalte, Paheli , Kal ho na ho she was replaced by srk 4:23
It's insane on how the personal relationship really altered so many of her lined up projects. Definitely not fair
@@TriedRefusedProductions same she would’ve killed every shot of the frame in these iconic films srk is to blame
@@TriedRefusedProductions In my opinion, Uday Kiran, Vivek Oberoi, and Aishwarya would have been perfect for a love triangle romantic movie, and it's a missed opportunity that it never happened.
Srk faced some losses while making chalte chalte because of her affair with salman khan. She made few negative statements about srk after that.
@@khursheedrind3232 srk did nothing🤷♀️if your co star's ex shows up drunk on your sets, creates a scene, stops shooting and incurs losses, you won't tolerate such BS. It was all Salman. Salman threatened them to remove Aish. Aish isn't SRK's sister that he will go through such losses and such tantrums and humiliation from Salman because of her. Salman got her removed, not srk.
I’m shocked why Kangana is not part of list
These videos used to be snippets from the actual interviews. But now a days, the are mostly commentry and only a few seconds of actual interview footage. Please add longer footage of the interviews.
I feel so bad as to honestly what these celebrities endure. Good or bad, these are human beings, and the media and public can be so cruel.
Well put. What a list!
Please release the intro as a separate reel😂👏🏽
That Salman Khan comment is weird to this day!! That dude should have chosen to say anything..Literally anything else!!
What happened to the Salman of the 2000s. He was blunt and made good film choices at lease.
3:15 Me when I watch interviews thinking which moment will make its way to the channel.
These are exactly the reasons why people ask for Boycott Bollywood
Nice I like it ❤❤
Orrys interview makes me wonder whether his cook is Walter White.
First time amongst the first 100 views.
Vivek Oberoi was extraordinarily popular when he was launched. All his films became commercially successful and he was set to take the reins of superstardom after SRK. That one press conference burnt down his entire life. Today he is only a glimmer of what he once was. Hope he makes a comeback soon…
Intro just killed😂
Ok can we just talk about the intro tho...I am chocking😭😭
I dont think Salman's clip needs to be in this collection - there was nothing honest or shocking in what he replied.
HILARIOUS INTRO!! 😂😂
I think piyush mishra should be at no 1 in this list😂I saw his recent interview taken by lalantop, and boi o boi, he literally said what he shouldn't have. I know the dark environment newcomers face in bolly but piyush mishra has opened a 4th dimension for me.
He literally said he slept with a dead body for a night cuz he didn't ve money😶🌫️
Salman is the most honest ❤
Sweet Priyanka Chopra this is the reason giving this kind of statements comparing with the male actors and now she kicked by Bollywood so sweet 😎😎 male actors always number one They always work in movies
hey jammy ,hope u have a good health.
Aishwariya rai rejected jawan that’s a payback for SRK I guess
She doesn't have that pull anymore. So srk won't have any issues because of her not doing the movie.
Where is the proof that she was offered Jawan? Or is it just another media report. Pay back for what? Something that happened 2 decades ago where he was forced to remove her from his 1 film because of her domestic situation with her boyfriend that got SRK caught in the middle? If there was payback, she would not have agreed to do a scene with him when he did a cameo appearance in her movie, nor would she have agreed to do a stage act with him, which they would have rehearsed before facing the audience and camera. Also, after he saved her assistant from a small fire at Amitabh Diwali party, I would think Ash has gratitude towards him.
in the intro of your video , you say - indian movie analysis , dance collaborations but there is no video regarding dance collaborations in your channel , you might want to edit that part
Just for that 0:25 slap I liked it so fast before watching it whole😂
Its disturbing when salman khan who is a spoiled brat , who is an accused criminal in several cases , a bully by nature gets the stardom and public support like none other. We as a society are to be blamed too. It all makes sense why we as a nation have been suppressed by the suppressor, because we glorify them.
The thing with salman khan is firstly he's just too big to be cancelled. But we also have to see his fans major demographic comes from small town where they don't see abuse as abuse. Also, the way those people idolize him they blame the women for his actions. I think he should just peacefully retire and can make cameos here and there. Yk people should always know when to stop.
Not just him even the other Khans I think it's time for them to pass the baton to other actors they have done so much but now I think it's time for them.
Khans will stay till they are of 70s or 80s. They got their stunt doubles who does most of the action scenes so it’s easy for them to stay at the top for a decade or two
Opening and me: Dude what the hell are you doing with your life, working 9-5 6 days of the week, and working on honing my skills on the weekends and evenings. I should work on Myself...
don't know if Orry is clueless, or very self-aware and trying to troll all of us!
Salman’s comment was tone deaf and very idiotic. I don’t know how this fits in here Jammy. So all slaps or physical assaults result in fatal injury ? “ I would’ve given it my best shot “ ? What was he even trying to say ? I didn’t see a sense including this in here.
Yeah even I am wondering why his interview was placed in this video
Okay, where is Kangana😅😢. She is the definition of zero fear in Bollywood.
She could be all top 10 😂
& zero sense too at times 😂😂
Exactly my thought. She is the epitome of "fearless" in bollywood.
