Had a professor announce to the whole class that the curve everyone would get for the exam was out the window since I scored a 100 on it, spotted quite a few mean looks.
Is close but not quite, its more like "you did have the maximum number possible in thos test, but you did go over that, you are almost done with this year material", but yes this doesnt happen in any kind of school
I had that in the 8th grade. I was one of the worst students in my math class, but I got the only perfect test in the class.
I didn't have the heart to tell him that I guessed on two of the questions. Chance of that happening: 6.25%
Some of the commenters must not know that this is from an all stars season of Masterchef Australia. Reynold's reputation as a dessert master had been long set before this competition, and the other contestants would have known how difficult it would be to outdo him. He is truly an artist.

definitely muscle memory from tasting behind the line, every second matters in a professional kitchen, also trying every single thing on the plate in one spoon to get an average experience also shows that since you dont want to send something out with 3 good things and 1 bad thing, you gotta make sure its all good (this is all speculation from me though lol)

All the judges were literally waiting for gordon to say something even tho he ate last.
I think all judges in all cooking competitions wait for all the judges to finish.
I think that it being a particular dish was more than half of that though. They were praising it far before any of them tasted it -- they watched him make it and they were impressed by his performance throughout. A chef that knows their stuff can get a feel for the end result just by observing how something was done. I don't think that this particular scene was an example of them fawning over Ramsey, I think this was a case where all the judges were so pleased by the result that it would have diminished how much they liked it if they each said something. Normally if they like something then they will give some small critique and encouragement, but this wasn't a normal dish. This most likely was something that they would actually be impressed with and perhaps want for their own restaurant -- masterchef doesn't have those kinds of dishes very frequently.
I mean it feel better to disagree with Gordon's opinion rather than Gordon disagree with your opinion
Other chef: "eating slowly"
Gordon: *YEET*
Gordon already figured out the taste in just 1 second. The rest, they still studying it by using their tounges.

it does look fairly simple at first glance but a lot of technique went into making it.
apart from getting a glimpse at what the contestants are doing while they cook, including a breakdown of the ingredients, the chefs know how hard to make these things are and exactly what each component is. the presentation is plain white on purpose, the red filled pebbles add so much to the dessert and look stunning when cut open.
The portion looks small but i think that is common with great chefs cooking at high end restaurants.
Rest in peace Chef Jock. ❤️

The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: REPENT YE, AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL.
THE GOSPEL (which means the Good News) is the news that God Almighty, the Creator came in the flesh as Jesus Christ to take away the sin of the world. He gave up his own life to save ours. His skill and vision is ridiculous. I was blown away so many times seeing what he produced
Imagine if you had to present your dish after him.
“I’ve heated up a brownie in the microwave and added some ice cream - enjoy!”
Makes me nerveous haha
I prepared a dark toast with fermentated liquid from cow and sprinkled some sweet-tasting, soluble carbohydrates of saccharum officinarum.
Everyone was like "we're f**d"

“Okay next up is Jess with her chocolate cake..”
😭
Poor old Jess 🤣
I feel bad for her. She looked so bewildered when his dessert was being presented. Then the aftermath of him getting many compliments from the judges. That's some crazy pressure.
Total nightmare flashbacks to grade school science fairs. Timmy is doing thermodynamics I'm testing finishing line strength 🤣. I just resigned.
Classic Jess 🍰
It's scariest for the next person to present theirs.
hearing the comments from the judges, it would surely make their knees tremble. 🤣
This guy is amazing at his craft!!!
I'd laugh so hard if they found out it's a glob of vanilla ice cream, a jet puffed marshmallow, a bath bead, and some white dippin dots.

A BATH BEAD LMAO
Dippin dots! Coming to your local shopping mall near you.
With the lil guy from doordash Sayin...HOW WOULD THEY NO? THEYL NEVER NO! HOW COULD THEY?
the dippin dots hit hard
Chef ramsay: what do we have here.
Me: a kit kat bar with a peanut on it.
Simply delicious
That is phenomenal so elegant how did you do this
Or in other words "a biscuit layered with a thin slice of chocolate encrusted with a smooth yet elegant finish of crémè dè læ chokolatê, topped off with a very thoughtful peanut, symbolising my lone childhood, where I was malnourished of my hobbies - I was starved in my life. I was kept away from my passion, my vision, my mindset which resulted in countless decades upon decades of bullying... I was starved from cooking."
@@Acquittal Ahh yes, my essay paper.

This is amazing to watch
Dude I LOVE the sound that plays when they cut it. Also _White Noise_ is a badass name for a dessert
It's at this moment when another contestant proudly plops down their Black Silence, wowing the judges even further and revealing the true protagonist of this anime.

It's the rival
@@yourfavorite2288 Tricking people to listen to your music means it's trash. Especially when it starts cussing you out straight away calling you b**** a** ni****
Lmao I just imagined someone placing a dish down with just a pool of black liquid. When the judges try to say something to ask what it is, they put their finger to their lips and go "shhhhh". Whispers "I call it black silence". After 2 long minutes, Gordon breaks the silence with "exquisite, how did you manage it"
Dude... no. You can’t use terms like “black silence” in 2021. XD
We were SO CLOSE to having a video with Gordon Ramsay not swearing.
