After watching this video, I tried the mascara hack. I have miserable eyebrows and eyelashes as a result of low dose chemo, but I have been working on them for a year with a serum and I am amazed at how they have improved. (I also have a bob and the longest hair of my life). This hack is brilliant. I just turned 60 and I still do full makeup but a more paired down, essential, sophisticated Nikol style. The hack gives the appearance of more lashes and thicker lashes - and it's easy, it worked on the first try. Congratulations on your 202k viewers - you bring so much into our lives - you have given me a new philosophy of skincare, makeup, healthy lifestyle and just taking care of myself. Many thanks.

Sandy - sending Blessings to you for your health ! Good health is everything, right ? There have been times in my life that I have had turmoil but I would always say to myself - it’s ok - at least I have my health - I’m in my 60’s, also, so I give thanks for each day of good health the Lord grants me ! 😊

Congrats Sandy and Mazel Tov on your hair being it’s longest!!!! People just don’t understand how this is our crowning Glory and when our hair is truly in it’s prime, WE feel GREAT and then we LOOK even better and hmmmm….we FEEL EVEN BETTER!!! I 🙏🏻that you are winning and I’ll keep you in my prayers. I too am a survivor and it’ll stay that way! A tip for you and your skin especially on low dose (I’m a Nurse Practitioner as well so that didn’t help me “knowing” what was coming next or in some cases what I thought was coming, wasn’t! Knowing isn’t always a bonus.) so for the skin……one thin that I swapped to and it is the ONLY thing I swapped in my daily skin care, was that I started using Ayurvedic Oils for my Face. WOW! What a difference and my skin is just glowing (no pun intended) called iYura …. That’s how it is spelled….with a small i in front of YURA so iYura and they have 5, 5ml bottle in a red box and the 5 are for all “issues” and I love it and it helped me find what works best for me and then I use the Kesardi Oil day and night after washing my face. I have always had a hard time putting OIL ON MY FACE!!!!! THAT is just crazy…..well…it’s not because even my Derma is asking what I am using after using Zo and Pharmaceuticals and yes….I dipped my toe in a small sample box of Lamer for a jillion dollars but none of them came close to doing everything that iYura said it would and their Customer Service is amazing. So….if you are have any low dose issues….give it a try as the small red trial box is affordable and I even explained WHY I was switching and they actually look after me and tell me before new items are coming up or they share testimonials with me from woman who are going through the same challenges I am WINNING. It’s a good company and they made my skin 2nd to my hair (which is also the longest it has EVER been!). Just a thought when I saw your thoughts to Nikol as I just adore her. Something about it ting that 55 marker that made me throw out all my junkie clothes and “compfy” clothes and dress like I had a shower (some days are none and some a three. It is what it is when it comes to showers! Speaking of which, a lovely lady at the Center was telling me that she started “dry Brushing” her legs as they were getting scaly and she just uses the wooden brush with natural bristles and then and Ayurvedic oil and she feels great! So that may be my next add on. Will have to see how this round goes for my skin. But know you are thought of kindly and you have someone sending your strength and care. While I wish i was alone in this, alas I am not. Be well and when the Sun is out, stick those toes in the green grass and earth. I was told to meditate outside when possible. It’s an entire holistic healing, heart, head, soul, earth and Seth….not in that order always. Namaste🙏🏻❤️

I love you because you're so real and you're not a 'fly-by-night' makeup expert. You are the real deal!💓 It takes a lot of guts to have a youtube channel because of all the mean, insecure people who make hateful comments. For several years, I had a favorite channel of a young Irish/English couple and their children. They had over a million subs and I never saw many negative comments, but in the last couple of years, only paying members (?) can make comments. The hate thrown at these people was astonishing! Thank you for hanging in there! Oh, and I thought about what you said when taking time to do your makeup. I didn't even have to think about it! THIS chick doesn't go out in public without makeup. Like you said, it IS important. It is Vital to my mental/physical health also. In fact, it is Imperative for me to put my 'best foot/face forward'. I learned that from my mother and her sisters. This was in the 60's and my aunt told me, 'never go out without looking your best...you never know when you might meet your future husband'! 🤭 I was too young to think of marriage, but I knew what she meant. They always dressed well and looked very pretty! Sorry for the novel!

Nikol- I really enjoy your videos. I wanted to give you a tip I’ve been using for years. If your mascara is too thick- I put hot water (not boiling- just hot) in a glass & stick the mascara tube (with the cap on) in the glass for about a minute or two. When you take it out to put on the mascara- it glides on perfectly with no clumps.

See how Nikol applied it in this video…do that! Be sure to start with a very clean eye area, micellular water is a great thing to pre clean before primer. I like Klorane for this, natural line and does not irritate my sensitive eyes. ❤️ from 🇨🇦

Thank you for another great tutorial and congratulations on reaching 200k subscribers! Your content as well as your positivity and “realness” is what makes your channel the success it is.
I have to tell you that I absolutely love your bb cream. I have tried all the latest foundations from serums to hydrating, drug store and high end. None of them make my skin feel and look as hydrated, perfected and “skin like” as your bb cream. It really is the best and so are you!

Like you very much. Even though, I like the lightest touch for make up, I can appreciate someone who can wear several products, and not cheapen herself, or look “make up laden”. Bravo, lovely, sharing lady.

Well, since I've failed miserably with darkening the end of my hooded eyes, this actually looks manageable. I'll have to buy and practice with eye liner (never used it) and I'll let you know!

Thank you so much for your message. I am a mum of two 3 and 4 year old boys and a business woman. I had a great loss in my business due to Covid this week. I was feeling very depressed lately and felt like I have let my boys down and I am a failure. Thank you for your kind words xx from Australia

Not a failure we all go through the ups and downs in our businesses. I am not sure if you are referring to a death and if so I am so sorry sending prayers if it’s on a different level I heard the best quote yesterday in my peloton class “They can knock you down but they can never knock you out” sending positive vibes ☀️

@@NikolJohnson thankfully its not about someone passing. I invested about 60000$ on a business project trusting my gut and failed. Now I don't know how to trust my instinct 😞

Indeed, Nikol, this really is a taboo subject because it is so personal, so embarrassing yet so very common for women particularly over 50. I used to struggle with this once I turned 63 and learned about the Kegel exercises which exercises the bladder muscles to strengthen them. There are natural supplements that I also take that wonderfully helps the problem. I concentrated on the exercises because I hated contemplating what essentially is a feminine diaper, and even if you don't feel old, that'll do it! And of course there also was the embarrassment of them being seen through your clothing but not only being seen, but also being "heard"; you could hear the crunching which I absolutely despised!. However, after doing the exercises on a regular basis I have noticed quite a big difference for myself. But now, from the company you presented, it's good to know that there are feminine panties that are invisible, and are cloth that is not "heard" and is disposable and even the padding has its own little pocket so it doesn't slip and slide... it doesn't move from its space so there's no fighting with it. Travel won't require extra baggage! Great video. Bottom line, even embarrassing things we need to talk about, and talking about this makes us stronger. Knowledge really is power but is worthless without being able to put it into positive action. I think this makes that possible! ❤️
