Thank you so so much for these videos! Hearing you talking with so much love and excitement about your yarn stash inspires me to look at mine as a place with so many opportunities of thinga to make😍 I also love that you very clearly cherish all the yarn in your collection and have thought about plans for the majority of it! But my most favourite thing about these videos is that you showed us the fanciest most expensive (even though absolutely gorgeous) hand died 100% merino wool, as well as these commercial cotton, acrylic or wool blends yarn with the same joy. I love it because of course I'd like to try these stunning hand dyed yarns that everybody talks about but the reality is it's just not in my budget at the present moment, and that's okay🥰 One day maybe, but for now I can still make very beautiful knits to wear with cotton or acrylic or natural yarn that are a bit cheaper (this year I used for the first time some Drops yarn and now I'm very much in my "drops era" cause it's good quality yarn, different fibre contents and colours and the price is more than decent!🥳🤩) So yeah, thank you for being once again the queen of inclusivity, not just for size🥹🫂
Awwwww thank you so much! ❤️ I'm SO glad you you enjoyed this video! I have so many lovely commercial yarns and I use them just as much as handdyed yarns. I'm really happy that this video is resonating with viewers because I was worried they wouldn't care about the commercial yarns, but I really wanted to showcase them too. I highly recommend going through your stash and just enjoying everything you've collected -- it's really inspiring 😊 I'm also a big fan of Drops yarn, especially their brushed alpaca silk 😍
Loved your stash tour! I love that your passion and love for yarn and knitting really shines trough the whole series. You also gave me a lot of new pattern ideas 🤗🧶
Awww I'm so glad! Let me be honest though: these are the projects plans *for now* 😂 I change my mind all the time, new patterns come out all the time, and by the time I use these yarns, the plan might be totally different than it is now 😉
Thank you! Some of these yarns have gone through several different plans and I certainly wouldn't hold me to doing all of them because I'm sure I'll change a bunch of them in the future too 😂
Hi Whitney, I am new to your channel and let me just compliment you for how much work you put in each podcast!! Each episode is such a rich and engaging content!! The results are amazing!! Ok, so this episode specifically is so inspiring!! It’s awesome to see the projects you have in mind for each yarn, I’m discovering new designs thanks to you! But especially, as a beginner, it is so relatable to see “big box” yarns in your stash! So many thanks for sharing ❤❤
Thank you so much and welcome to the channel! 🥰 I'm SO glad you're enjoying this episode because I was worried most people would skip it because they'd think it's less appealing than handdyed yarns, but I have some awesome "big box store" yarns that I think deserve attention too 😊
I have a big soft spot for Patons Classic Wool - that was my primary go to yarn when I was first learning to knit 16 years ago. I think my first 10 projects were all made with Patons. I still have a couple balls of it in my stash, though it has changed some over the years!
It's a really good quality yarn for a fairly affordable price, and so easily accessible! I think it's a great jumping off point for people to try out wool after getting started with big box craft store acrylic. 😊
Not me watching you talk about your stashed silky soft yarn form Michael's while knitting with the Michael's silky soft yarn because I got to touch your when you were making the difficult tank top.....
I wanna tell you a secret how to weave ends right when you start your new color take a darning needle thread that new yarn and sew the yarn back through itself making a loop then you have your new stitch and you don’t have any ends anymore it’s genius

Love your yarn stash! Amazing that you have projects for most all. You've inspired me to do a deep dive with intentions of project assignments. ❤

I love that for most of your stash you have a concrete pattern in mind

I've done that method before but I don't like it as much as my current join method, thanks though 🙂
