Vitamin C surrounds flavonoids, flavin, catechol, vitamin k, and Tyrosine in PLANTS. But all of these combined factor do not equal vitamin C just because they are surrounded by it. most animals actually synthesize their own vitamin C within their bodies and it works effectively without this complex structure. How can you say that vitamin K is actually just a component of vitamin C? That would mean that they should always occur together in uniform amounts, which the do not. It just doesn’t make sense what you are saying and it is not scientifically accurate and borderline predatory given the fact that you are selling whole food vitamin C supplements. Now, although it is true that polyphenol plant components do compliment and enhance function of absorbic acid to synergistically benefit our health, they certainly can not be categorised as an extension of the molecule that is vitamin C

Funny, I'm drinking a glass of water with a whole, squeezed lemon, the peel and Himalayan pink salt! The drink is delicious though!
Thanks for another great video :D Been on a strict carnivore diet for about half a year, after about 3 years of "carnivore" where I did eat red bell pepper regularly. But I haven't seen any signs of low vitamin C after 6 months with only 4mg vitamin C per day from the cod liver I eat.
@@davothegreat9990 Only the 4mg from the cod liver. I do however get a lot of hydroxyproline and hydroxylysine from the meat I eat. As far as I know, vitamin C's role in collagen production, is to make the hydroxylated version of proline and lysine, for you to be able to produce all types of collagen. So if you eat food that has all the essential amino acids and hydroxyproline / hydroxylysine, you don't really need vitamin C for collagen production. Might need it for other stuff though.

Chemistry lesson.....I love it, Doc! (I'm a chemistry teacher.)
You say you've put information below, I'm not seeing it?
Ive had what you call chicken skin for years and not one doctor has associated it with Low Vitamin C, ive had blood tests theyve all come up normal but to be honest it makes sense that i would have low vitamin c cuz i really dont take any at all.
Hello. Here's another video about chicken skin: ua-cam.com/video/ZOIY8LfgKGI/v-deo.html

@@Drberg thank you
It can be totally genetic as well, not always a vitamin deficiency
@@me4011 Yes your right i have 1q21.1 microduplication which i dont really know a lot about and is only a recent discover, a lot of the things I'm suffering from now could be attributed to that but i know i dont have any vitamin c. So ill try it. Im at a point where i need to really start looking at what works for me and doesnt.
Thanks Dr. Eric I will make a list of fruits and vegetables containing vitamin c❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for the GREAT lesson!!
No problem. Glad you like the video.
What powder instead of sugar you use d-r Berg ? Thank you for all the videos !
Thank you, Dr. Berg!
You're welcome!
Ten seconds in....I'm vibing the hair!👍
Noted, so far am not noticing any such symptoms, am eating my vegis and supplementing with half dose of multivit a day in the hope to cover all bases. Thanks doc
Maybe that is the reason I had nosebleeds while pregnant. 🤔 never had that problem till pregnant. My gp at that time brushed it off as just the dry winter and blood pressure issues.😑
Doctor Eric Berg !
your videos are the best !
being you subscriber for the past 4 years and I can say I learned valuable informations from you that in some cases changed my life !
thank you dr , thank you so much 🌹
I used to get tons of nosebleeds growing up. wonder if vitamin C had something to do with it. I remember my elders used to tell me it was caused by picking my nose even though I did not pick my nose
Does it actually do any good to take ascorbic vitamin C bought as a vitamin?
I heat sauerkraut, oftenwith butter sauteed onions. Won't I lose vitamin C?
Great information, thank you Dr.Berg.
Now please let us know besides food, (I am eating organic and am on Keto)what the best supplements would be.???
Thank you Dr. Berg! I think I just figured out why my 8 year old son has nose bleeds and chicken skin on the back of his arms! Just ordered your children's vitamins! ❤
Wonderful. Thanks for purchasing my supplements. Wishing your family good health!
Dr berg is against most fruits, but mangoes are very high in vitamin c and vitamin a plus they are my favorites so I make an exception.
Funny, I'm drinking a glass of water with a whole, squeezed lemon, the peel and Himalayan pink salt! I don't have a blender i can reach right now so I remove the zest for recipes, eat the pulp and soak the pith in my glass. The pith is pretty bitter so I only eat what I can of it. The drink is delicious though!
Dr Berg... you are the bomb🫶
Thanks for another great video :D
Been on a strict carnivore diet for about half a year, after about 3 years of "carnivore" where I did eat red bell pepper regularly. But I haven't seen any signs of low vitamin C after 6 months with only 4mg vitamin C per day from the cod liver I eat.
Interesting. Thanks for sharing.
You get vitamin c from organs? Do you eat liver?
@@davothegreat9990 Only the 4mg from the cod liver. I do however get a lot of hydroxyproline and hydroxylysine from the meat I eat. As far as I know, vitamin C's role in collagen production, is to make the hydroxylated version of proline and lysine, for you to be able to produce all types of collagen. So if you eat food that has all the essential amino acids and hydroxyproline / hydroxylysine, you don't really need vitamin C for collagen production. Might need it for other stuff though.
@@davothegreat9990 Yes, liver has vitamin c.
Thank you sir we love to watch your videos there are informative
