I just realized when Frank's been saying he's got a guy for 14 seasons it's always been the same guy 😂
Poppins: 1987 - Somehow still alive
Average dogs life: 13 yrs 😂😂
"Yeah, hes a survivor" lmao
Just like me
All these years and numerous times watching both this and The Walking Dead, I only learned a few months ago that Z also plays Tyrese in Walking Dead. I never put that together lol
Dennis breaking his glass against the wall in the opening is always funny to me
I always rewind it.
One of my favorite episodes from the new seasons
How has Agent Jack Bauer not shown back up yet?
Yes, dog abortions happen, usually during a spay. They just remove the uterus with the puppies inside.
This is one of my favorite episodes. It addresses all the sides and controversies and does it in such a way that people can be receptive to it without being offended and rejecting it.
My mum adopted a rescue cat who was pregnant when she was found by the rescue. She was very young so they terminated the pregnancy, I think it was a chemical abortion, so those exist for cats.
and a friend of hers is a dog trainer and breeder who had to get what is basically a morning after pill/Plan B for her dog.
I was surprised to hear those exist too, but it makes sense I guess.
It was always on the nose
The Frank stuff and trying to get a dog abortion are so funny to me. The rest of the episode is fine. Not great for Sunny but still really good compared to other shows. Z is always great to see.
The issue they try to tackle was just not done that well tbh. It feels like on some level they've become afraid to be as controversial and wild as they used to be.
Yep providing veeery safe messages on abortion.
Of course they're afraid to be controversial. They bow to every leftist talking point these days so they don't get canceled, and you'll never see them speak negatively on it anymore.
Yeah, the TvTrope term for this episode would be “Anvilicious” because it has all the subtlety of an anvil being dropped on your head.
i think you should rewatch it
Good take
@5:07 at my house its common
Dog a-tions (not saying due to yt probably blocking me for it). Are definitely a thing, our miniture chihuahua had to have one, (a long story but she got out and a stray fancied her) basically she would have had a mix of chihuahua and a much larger breed of dog. And basically the veterinarian said she couldn't physically birth them due to how small she is, and dog cesarean sections aren't really a thing, so the procedure was performed to save her life.
lol it wont block you
That’s why sterilization is a thing.
We are working on a clip for the vas deferens.
Instead of putting government between women and doctors we can put government between male and doctor, preventing all unplanned pregnancies.
Yes, they have abortions for dogs and cats.
Lmao I love that there are people on this comment section unironically saying that "They bow to every leftist talking point these days". I've always said that the people who *completely* shit on the later seasons are the conservatives who finally figured out the show is laughing at them, not with them.
Sunny was ALWAYS a left leaning show. Rob grew up in a fully queer home, a subject he has been outspoken about for a really long time. Back in S01E02 all the random women at the leftist side are just regular people who correctly read dennis as a creep, while the conservatives are having sex over the plans for murdering doctors - and yet these dumbasses try to say that 'the show got too on the nose and used to be more subtle' lmao. Keep it up guys, love seeing your comments!
Wow you are so woke. Libs are so annoying.
To be fair I always felt like sunny roasted both sides.
The later seasons leaned into the social commentary less subtly and maybe that’s part of why people got butthurt. They probably assume with the influx of female writers it automatically got more woke to stay relevant/avoid backlash for when they said words you aren’t supposed to say.
Either way I’ve never seen a problem with it and enjoy every season except 16
@@bigpictureguys8415 it's crazy that someone can read the comment above, which includes a whole example from the first season when the gang clearly made fun of conservatives a lot more and earnestly say "to be fair I ALWAYS felt like sunny roasted both sides".
Like, this has to be a joke, right?
@@notEAdemize99 probably depends on your perspective. You see what you’re looking for and don’t see what you what you’re not. I hate both so I see the zings against both. 🤷🏼♂️ Where conservatives are short sighted (or bigoted) are easy to spot/make fun of. The liberal shade is unusually more subtle so maybe that explains it. Didn’t they say on the podcast they were critical of both sides from the beginning ?
Either way it’s how I interpreted the show. Not much else to say.
@@bigpictureguys8415 "The later seasons leaned into the social commentary less subtly"
Again. COMPLETELY ignoring the fact that I presented an example from SEASON ONE. In SEASON ONE they openly showed leftist women as 100% normal and right wing women as deranged lunatics, and you are STILL dumb enough to think that's subtle.
I can't argue with this level of delusion. I can only applaud you for living like this.
I think this is the point where the show started falling hard
Nah that's earlier in season 14. Season 15 is where the show recovers and starts to right itself
I felt that the political satire in this episode was too on the nose to be truly enjoyable, and it pulls me out of the episode. I definitely felt like Charlie Wants An Abortion was the superior abortion episode.
Charlie wants an abortion was a superior episode but this one was solid too.
Got its shots in both ways
11:03 LMFAO he was thinking of keeping them
