Yesss another curb episode

Larry's crazy, but he's not dumb. He's got to encounter the dumb wackos sometimes.
Regarding Jeff being as bonkers as Larry, one understated thing that I love about Curb is that he, as the showrunner, doesn't really sugar-coat the superficiality of some of the relationships (even the close ones) that someone as rich and famous as he would have. Despite Jeff being "best friends" with Larry, there are definitely undertones of him being a complete kiss-ass yes-man to him because he's his manager (which is why he goes along with the bonkers-ness-- it's how he handles him), and despite being together with Larry, there are definitely undertones of Cheryl being with and tolerating Larry in no small part simply because of the lavish lifestyle that he affords her.
Not saying they don't like him, but the way everything's framed, it's definitely a part of the dynamic and part of what the show is satirizing. Those two characters are PART of that whole "reflection of the superficial LA Hollywood lifestyle"-ness of it that you brought up, they're not outside of it.
I'm catching up! Once again: you are such a great reactor for this show, I love how you consider each situation and weigh in on who's right or wrong!
The t shirt guy. You don't know who ted danson is. You have to do the good place. But yes ted danson maybe more known than Bruce Willis. Cheers all men and a baby. A lesser known is Becker lots of pretty good things. But the good place would be an awesome show for you others in that vein if you like it are. Dead like me. Pushing daisies. Those are pretty cool and would be good views. Last suggestion. 12 monkeys movie and tv show. Soooo good
