I played this with my girlfriend who doesn't know too much about geography and it was a blast! Very good idea, it's a shame it wasn't in this video, probably could've made it into it's own video imo.

The main uses of trees is that you can tell your climate using them and that in certain countries like hungary and Bulgaria there is winter coverage so trees will often have no leaves on them. Other than that language, bollards, car meta, street signs, license plates, camera generation and road lines are much more important clues to know. Then there are some random clues that come up in random countries e.g. in Albania and Montenegro there are often 'rifts' in the sky, in certain African countries there are 'follow cars' and Japan and Switzerland have 'low cam'. Honestly there is so much more to know that I haven't mentioned. There is a website with tons of information on it and also UA-camrs like geopeter give some great tips.
