Correction, @ 9:08, H20 is two Hydrogen atoms and one Oxygen, they point it out as one hydrogen and two oxygen atoms, which is wrong.

The burning question in my mind is: how do you dispose of it? Is it bio safe? Biodegradable? Or does it need special remediation?

Fun video! I discovered the nucleation effect myself at age four, by accident, (in 1955), by dropping pretzel salt into ginger ale at my grandparents' house. I've played with this ever since, but I never thought of using popcorn! Very cool!
Also, you can do the egg-into-the-bottle trick by putting some boiling water into the bottle, shaking it around to heat the air inside, then quickly dumping the water and sticking the egg on top... it takes awhile, though, for the science to happen, but you don't get ashes all over the egg! It's a variation on Mr. Wizard's "The Invisible Giant" experiment.
BTW - Repeating the process makes it possible to put multiple eggs in the bottle! You do great work, Mark.

I got a experiment, you make your hand a bowl and then you clap your hand then air will come out then put you mouth like 2 inches apart and then when you clap it makes a noise you can make the noise high or low to open your mouth not too big or leave a little hole in your mouth so if you do this do a video and see you there.

The egg doesn't get sucked into the bottle. Nothing sucks. When the paper burns it heats the air which expands. The air can escape the bottle because the egg is not stuck. When the air cools it's less of it in the bottle and therefore the pressure is lower. The high pressure outside the bottle pushes the egg in. Right?

Hey is there a liquid molecule that when mixed with a reactant it increases in volume but not in the sense of it transitioning into a gas phase? Like a liquid that due to a reaction it expands but maintains the liquid property of not being able to compress.

My wife and I are debating why the raisins did not perform like the popping corn kernels. Was it that the raisins were too dense or was it the surface characteristics of the raisins did not allow for the carbon dioxide bubbles to adhere. We may need to do some experimentation...

I just got a random question while thinking about things that are faster than the speed of light and if light can travel faster than its own defined speed, I was thinking that we can see faraway objects through telescope zoom lenses like those billions of light years away whose light have not even reached the earth yet so what if we shoot a light through the lens and it reaches the object faster than just pointing it at the same angle as the one with the lens. Is there a way to prove if this theory is right or wrong?
