I'M REALLY GLAD I KNEW THE RULES TO GEOGUESSR BEFORE WE DID THIS 🥲
Cheers for having me on mate! Hope we can hang out in 4D next time around! 🍻
Surprisingly affable man surprisingly good at geoguessr
you beat his ass!
Box match with Ludwig when?
Hey man you’re supposed to move.
Mr worldwide
"I think the Queen is secretly dead"
That certainly aged well
🙄
@@basicuser7331 ?
LMAO
Cuz it's not a secret anymore
it did but she didn’t
Yoooo this is the most insane crossover yet. I didn’t even know Chris existed in the Ludwig universe.
What’s the Ludwig universe? Just a quick list.
Did you not read the latest update patch notes? They just added him
Didn’t you see their last video together? Chris challenged him to games and Lud lost and had to become a vtuber
I mean, he is affable. And also, he is youtooba.
Frrrr, I love chris and seeing this is bonkers
Chris: "Let's just hope Ludwig doesn't know what Pompei is."
Ludwig: "This is Rome."
Had me on the FLOOR 💀💀💀
Ironically, I instantly recognized it as Pompeii because of JoJo lol
Chris had limited clues because he didn't know he could move in the first 2 rounds i can't 🤣
The way he was shocked he could move😂😂😂I can't even
The fact that he survived for so long in the first round without knowing any of the meta or that he could move is definitely a testament to his worldliness.
@@joosewv A truly affable man!
True 😂
Arigato, Gyro
3:22 I couldn’t agree more with what Ludwig said about the evolution of Geoguessr as a game. Even just a year ago the majority of players were the GeoWizrd archetype just learning about cultures and using that knowledge to make educated guesses.
I just got back into Geoguessr a month ago and even some silver ranks are pouring over meta spreadsheets so they can make instant guesses the second they see that iconic Portugal electrical pole, or Spanish bollards on the side of the road.
Worse yet, I see people now making guesses based on true meta like what shape the google car blur is, or how big it is, or what colour the blur of the car is. It’s still fun casually, but at the upper level it’s not fun at all if you’re like GeoWizard and just want to learn more about landscapes and cultures.
this. I played geoguessr a while ago because I got into it from watching geowizard, but to compete even in low ranks you *had* to know meta data just to keep up.. I have a lot more fun just watching geowizard now than actually playing the game
They could add a mod that hides the bottom side. You would still get almost all of the normal visual clues, but could not see anything from the car.
@@mythicdawn9574 that exists
The speedrunning aspect of geoguesser has made the concept of "Good from a far, but far from good." become the golden rule.
But most of these players clearly struggle to find the actual location, even if given plenty of time to search. Since they never practiced looking for such clues.
this chris fellow seems like a pretty affable guy
ah, a fellow trash taste viewer
edit: this edit was made when this comment had as many likes as there are countries
i see.... you are a man of culture too
quite the affable man
indeed
Isn't he a vtuber?
Chris still doing alright despite not realising he could move in the first two rounds was acc kind impressive
8:40 “A fraud in Japan”
MVP line right there
Cracked me up 😂
That's why Chris is so affable
He must have thought of that before 😂 it's genius
Heard it a few years back, cracks me up every time
I love thise line lol
Chris had the perfect delivery. hahaha
Ludwig: “He’s popping off”
Chris: “what a great start :)”
That certainly does sound like the British equivalent of popping off.
I love how Chris is getting dragged kicking and screaming into the world of streamers against his will.

“this is too dense to not be tokyo”
ooh boy has he got a wrong perception of japan 😂
Just in case you Ludwig fans who don’t know Chris were curious, the set behind him is an actual set. You should see his video touring it, it’s actually insane
Who?
@@marie-gn8pc Chris Broad. He has 2 youtube channels, Abroad in Japan & Chris Abroad
Thank you for this!!
@@eli.9424 it is quite a dangerous set too in an earthquake prone area like Japan... The set got wrecked once in a quake and judging by the damage its likely Cris would've been badly injured or worse had he been there... Imo he needs to bolt everything down.
@@chdreturns Wrecked? It didn't look bad at all. He videoed himself checking out the damage for the first time.
Gotta say, Chris has a great temperament for streaming. HIs charm carries over really comfortably. I guess all those second channel streams helped him out :D Great to see!
Chris got progressively more affable as the video went on.
you can just feel the coffee kicking in, yea 😂
its the coffee
@@celestialaura3166 Irish coffee more like.
So more coffee = more affable? Guess I've been doing something right.
@@Dextline you are very affable too
When I lived in Japan I went to the stairs from Your Name and was surprised by how out of the way it was. It’s not near any main tourist train stations and tucked back several streets behind homes in a quiet neighborhood and leads to a cute little shrine. If you weren’t looking for it I don’t think anyone except locals would even know it exists.
The fact that Makoto Shinkai used this shrine and these stairs is fascinating to me because if he wasn’t a local why did he decide to end his film here? And if he is a local then again, what was so significant about this spot that he wanted to use these stairs?
Funnily enough on either side of the stairs are just regular homes that literally touch the stairs with people hanging their laundry out to dry and letting their kids play. I wonder how they feel about the site having become a minor tourist attraction.
Damn he did really well without knowing he could move
People joke about being "cultured" but he's just outright cultured.
Chris getting so fed up that he did an American accent just made my day. And I've been having a pretty good day.
Another Ironmouse and Ludwig collab, so good!
Also anticipating Abroad in Japan Wacky Weekend with CDawgVA ft Ludwig
Wait he did collab with mouse before this one? Was it irl or with the vtuber avatar?
@@revolution2762 They've done a bro vs bro before and it was great!
I would love watching a Wacky Weekend with Lud. Just imagine them taking him to camp out in the worst rated 1-star abandoned hotel in the middle of a winter storm while reviewing all the alcohol and fried chicken they can get from a convenience store

17:53 this is from Jojo Part 5 where Fugo fought Illuso, pretty cool it showed up
I clicked on this video so fast because I had to make sure I was seeing this collab correctly LOL.
I was not expecting Chris and Ludwig to make a video together and i'm honestly here for it 🤣
At this point I think the only content creator Lud won't eventually crossover with is Destiny
I just started watching Connor and Chris and Ludwig decided to collab with them right after
@@Wertys *shrug* Everyone has their opinions
This is a duo I didn’t know I needed, Chris and Ludwig are so funny. It was funny when Ludwig said “he doesn’t know the trick” and loses that round to Chris 💀
This is a collab I didn’t know I wanted. Cant wait for the inevitable collab vid yall will do when you go to japan, weeb.
Not weeb just cultured
0:14 Chris - a Man who has Grinded CDawg
I have been binge-watching Abroad In Japan's videos for the past week. In fact, I'm still watching Journey Across Japan right now as i saw this notif. Great collab of two great channels.
This is interesting, Ludwig will say something like “driving on the right side of the road here” or some kind of signifier, and the other will say “this car seems slavic”. Ludwig’s point is correct s out how geogessur was intended and how it ended up.
Yesss Chris and ludwig, best crossover yet, both channels I really genuinely enjoy watching and both make amazing content 💜 !
bro ludwig being shown around japan by chris would be an absolutely sick vlog series.
These are two universes in the UA-cam multiverse that I never expected to cross over. Dave in Japan collaborating with Ludwig?!
yeah man, i would've never thought that Larry from Paul in Japan would ever do something with ludwig
Ludwig is a fan of Chris, so it isn't that unexpected, but I was still surprised when I saw the notification.
Now let's see him meet Natsuki
"A Fraud in Japan" was all I needed to hear. This man got my sub
Ludwig's reaction to "Kinki Highway" is further proof of his descent into the bald man
First Connor's irl streams, then its Ironmouse, and now its Ludwig. Chris being a cameo/side character to streamers is just a joy to see.
13:53 Hi Polite, I believe you can find these stairs right after the Zuishinmon gate that leads to the Enoshima Shrine main entrance, and I know on episode 6 of Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai, Sakuta and Tomoe go on a date right there, so that's my guess.
Vouch
My guess was them being the stairs from Saekano
Was thinking the same thing, they went on a trip here in bunny girl senpai
my first was the stairs from 5cm per second, but it seems after some quick googling that they are just the same ones from kimi no na wa :L
Mais wtf @Fukano tu fait quoi là ? 😂 Tu veux pas poster des vidéos plutôt? 😄
love seeing ludwig interact with the trash taste circle of friends, hope they collab more when he goes to japan
I would love to see a Wacky Weekend video with Ludwig having to stay in Japan's worse love hotels or something.
Actually, I'd like to see Chris & Connor go with Lud & QT - with C&C being pros at it while Lud & QT just trying to figure out the Japanese of it all in a love hotel

I never expected Chris Broad to end up in Ludwig's channel but here we are. This was great! Now we need a whole Journey Across Japan with Ludwig in the near future! 😁
i love chris one of my favorite youtubers glad to see you guys collab!
the collabs are insane. all my favorite people are meeting each other I love it
Actually it's pretty cool that Lud is exposing his subs to a pretty big universe of Japanese UA-camr content with Chris and Connor
I discover Ludwig through Chris and Connor 🤣
Ludwig slowly discovering that there are more cities in Japan than just Tokyo
For never playing geoguessr before, he did insane on the non japan rounds.
This was such a fun video. Chris, do more shit like that you're an entertaining fella.
Thanks Lud for probably dragging Chris to do this against his will.

His content is great, dude is hilarious but also does some serious documentary style vids
@@youraveragepasser-by7367 100% his Tohouku Earthquake aftermath video was both incredibly well made and very emotional at the same time.

Love seeing Chris on the channel! Such a nice guy and an absolute legend.
Bro I am loving all of these crossovers
"This proves who is better at knowing the world and *Japan* "

I like how ludwig was doing crazy car plate stuff and chris was just like i can move?!
It's nice to see Mr. Affable helping smaller youtuber like Ludwig. This is nice crossover.
Huge fan of Chris and Lud, but never thought I'll see this collab. Soooo happy it happened!!!
Happy to see Ludwig making content with Connor's boyfriend!
They are all just sharing boyfriend at this point
@@silkhenge an open relationship? I've heard it's trendy, Elon Musk is into that apparently.
Cant believe I'm watching this and hearing your comment on the queen being dead on the day it was apparently announced
Chris is the original protagonist, going to another guy's show, beats him up and invites him to his hometown.
I don’t understand how ludwig still doesn’t recognize the hotel in Singapore. it’s like one of the most recognizable buildings in the world. I’ve seen him get that wrong so many times
I love Chris, he's so funny 😭 never expected him to be on Ludwigs channel but it was certainly an enjoyable video.
It's weirdly sweet seeing Ludwig light up when he's complimenting Chris. Love to see friendly competition.
I just look at grass online, whereas you actually touch grass. Classic Ludwig.
I always enjoy when Lud gets to stream with someone he very clearly respects and admires, like Chris, Connor, Charlie, and Jerma. He just gets a different energy to him, almost like a part of him still can't believe he gets to work with these guys.
"A Fraud In Japan"! 😂 Chris is ever so hilarious and clever. 😁
I'm really happy to see Ludwig vibing with the Japan crew! I haven't watched your channel before this but your personalities clash really nicely. Amazing stuff :)

Lol. Chris reading 子供飛出し as “don’t fall in the hole”, and the next minute saying “I can read kanji” was a funny fail for those who read Japanese.
What does it say?
It’s the equivalent of a “kids at play” sign in English.
It says “Children jump out.”
It’s a warning to drivers and cyclists on the street to drive slowly because there may be kids around.
@@chbuki Really makes me wonder how he can get it that wrong. I mean it's not even remotely close.
@@L1ghTx
I don't know. Tbh, a lot of "foreigners in Japan" UA-camrs kinda get revered for how good their Japanese is when they're honestly not that good lol.
I'm hoping that he just didn't read it properly and assumed it was a warning to "watch your step". I don't watch his videos enough to really know what his actual language ability is.
@@chbuki Chris first went to Japan to be an English school teacher so he had to have had proper qualification, including the JLPT. And anyway we've seen him speaking, he's quite fluent. The sign is kind of a shorthand. He could have glanced at it and easily (wrongly) surmised that the warning was for pedestrians to be careful rather than drivers.
as a fan of chris and ludwig its super cool to see you guys collabing!
One of my favourite Ludwig videos in a while! Great work.
