    Clark is a huge advocate for kids getting involved in sports. She started a non profit organization for under privileged children. She always makes time to sign their jerseys, basketballs and home made signs. She is sweet with them. She does this with a big ole open Heart. Love her!

    I love that so many fans are kids. This is the big reason I feel the WNBA needs to improve their officiating & crack down on the overly aggressive play. Its troubling that existing WNBA fans dismiss rookie hazing & the high level of aggressive play as normal. Parents will not let their children continue to watch if the unsportsmanlike overly aggressive play style is allowed to continue unchecked. Parents want their kids to see the referees punishing unsportsmanlike behavior, not turning a blind eye to it. Like it or not, part of growing a sport & bringing in new fans is making the game more palatable to more consumers.

    You used the word "nonsense" to describe so much of what we are hearing and seeing these days. So True! I used to check out more videos on this topic (WNBA/CC et al) but I've become very selective: I want, new, positive and relative information. You and a few others (i.e. Chicks Dig Scars and Adrienne Ross) here are providing that. Thank you!

    More of this Please… A Positive Message from the WNBA and CC#22 giving up her time to spend time with the Kids. Something that’s very important to her.
    I still remember when CC#22 was late to After Game Questions because she was signing Autographs… She actually got ripped from her own Teammates…
    Take a step back, Play Ball 🏀 and remember Kids are Watching…

    Great video, I love the positive shift. All the talk of CC getting beat up, denied, racism, Alphabet Soup stuff is going a bit overboard.
    Not by you, but other UA-camrs that are milking the negativity.
    CC will be fine and God willing has a great WNBA career ahead of her.

    She takes the time with fans`. She isn't a prima donna. It makes her relatable and more appreciated by fans. It is also what makes her marketable to corporations. I am sure we will see her on a Wheaties box.

    Seems to me that Caitlin wants to make the kids experiences similar to hers when she was younger. Her role models were very much the same as she is today, great with fans and focused on her game and getting better. Unlike the typical W player who is more likely on social media with adult themes, sports broadcast media and the constant banter about social justice or social identity or some ill in society that may not really exist or matter. Clark is genuine, most of the others (particularly those who can’t stop criticizing) are not.

  • @BenjWarrant
    @BenjWarrant 5 місяців тому

    You're right that the kids won't really be listening to/aware of the debate that's going on about toxic off-court activities - but they will have seen Chuh-neddy Carter sneak up behind Caitlin and body slam here while the ball was not even on the court; and they will have seen the Sun player the other night go clattering into CC22 and knock her off her footing and then execute 3 very nasty head flips pretending that CC22 was exaggerating what had happened (while if you could edit her out of the footage, you see that Clark hardly moves at all, because she's focussed on continuing withy whatever she was trying to do before the foul.
