@@cymaticatom Thanks man! gram of protein per pound of bodyweight. Complex carbohydrates from whole food sources for the most part and really avoiding simple carbs, sugar, and ultra processed foods. That on top of consistently training and you will get there, I promise.💪 Also feel free to email me if you would like some private training sessions.
Another great video. I would love to see some videos on what yu did in the very beginning. I'm watching all your videos. If would have started your UA-cam year's ago. Who knows maybe a million subscribers by now.anyway your a big inspiration. Thank You.
@@richsadventures1889 so glad my videos are helping you. Because this happened to me over 15 years ago, I don’t have the kind of footage I wish I had from the beginning. Mind you, the iPhone was barely even available at the time of my injury. On top of that, I didn’t want people filming me and watching me suffer and struggle in the very beginning. Looking back I really wish I had filmed every step of the way since day one, but unfortunately it was just a different time back then. I’m just glad I have the experience I do to help all of you out to the best of my abilities. I can recap and tell you how every single thing felt both mentally and physically. I so wish I had more footage from the beginning. I will ask my family to see what I can dig up if there’s anything. Plenty of photos, not much video that I recall.
@@kicknowledgesmith8608 you will. In fact, it’s been a great challenge for me to fight the tightness off while in the cold water. Very slowly and carefully, as you don’t want to try and jolt your affected side while your body is cold. That’s how you can pull a muscle or a tendon. But slowly combating the tightness of tone in cold water seems to really help, especially once you were warmed up afterwards. My arm and hand and leg all seem to be more relaxed overall. Totally understand the cold water seems counterintuitive, but being mindful of my affected side in the cold water has really helped me. Always precaution and keep up the good fight.💪
@@kevingocke Thanks, I will keep fighting. I just started OT again, they are working on loosening up the humerus in the arm, it's really tight. I have to stretch and try to keep the arm away from the body as much as possible.
@@kicknowledgesmith8608 if you look back a few months ago, I uploaded a video on that arm stretch against the wall. Definitely give that a shot if you haven’t already. Well done keeping up on therapy.🙏 No plateaus allowed!
@@bellimal. I didn’t start doing this until after spasticity was under control. It can cause the affected side to feel tight at first. But for me, the reward far outweighs some temporary tone. In fact, I will intentionally move my left side through the cold water to engage neuro activity. I suppose I’ve been a little bit of my own lab rat to experiment with this haha. I truly believe it has helped me more than one.
@@Hitrate101 sorry to hear about that, but glad it looks like you are looking for ways to improve! This Cold Plunge therapy definitely helps with fatigue. I’m also really on top of good sleep habits. Have you experimented at all with adaptogenic mushroom blends?
@@Hitrate101 also you might want to look and vitamin B 12 injections. I do a weekly vitamin B 12 injection with folic acid and it seems to really boost energy levels for me.

@kevingocke Thank You, some videos reenacting or explaining your beginning struggles would be great. THANKS
Hopefully I can get to this point one day. The air conditioner and cold weather makes my arm flex up and get tight. I'm 2 years post stroke.

At what point in your recovery did you started doing the cold therapy and doesn’t it cause spasticity?
