After watching your previous clip in video I was successful once clipping onto the Peloton. Unfortunately it’s been a struggle ever since but we’ll stick with it. Good tip about swinging the arms mimicking the walk gait pattern will give it a whirl.
@@andrewanderson2176 great question and yes! Super annoying how the toes on the affected foot want to make a fist essentially. I have some great stretches I will share that really help and can certainly correct that side effect
Do you bike every day, or stagger your biking with your interval workouts, like every other day? I’ve been using a Schwinn Airdyne bike at PT and I love that it uses my arms and legs. Trick is, my PT has to wrap my foot to the pedal and then I use an Active Hands to strap in my hand.
@@fifthavenuegirl not sure which version, but it would be the 2020 model. My wife got it for us during the Covid shutdown. I believe all the clip ins for peloton are created equal though. When it comes to clipping that affected foot, you can easily be done with assistance, but what I like to do is unclip my affected foot first by pushing downward and outward with my left heel. Pops out every time.💪
@@kevingocke i live alone. will have to figure it out. thank you for letting me know. how do you think it helped your gait? do you feel it strengthened your leg? and smoothed out your gait?
@ it definitely took a while. A few years. Once the leg gets strong enough, hip flexors, glutes, and even your core, your balance and gait begins to correct more and more. Then the affected arm begins to move better and better along with your walk.💪
You’ve given me some major inspiration, thank you, I’m 2 years into recovery and at 63, I’ve got a lot of bucket list items to do 💕✌️
Awesome tips Thankyou!
Congratulations!!!

@@keithwallaceHawaiiTenor keep practicing on the clip in, it gets better and better!
Thank you for your book😊just finished it
@@DK-Pratibha so glad you enjoyed 🙏
I've improved a lot on the exercise bike, my leg no longer falls to the side. I just need a peddle that secures the entire foot.
@@kicknowledgesmith8608 heck yeah! Super great for training and controlling that knee from wobbling in or out
Did you do anything special to improve your vision? I am dealing with vision loss?
Thanks in advance
Our amazing and inspirational! Quick question if you don’t mind, did you ever develope claw toe if so how did you correct it

How long did it take for your affected arm to start moving while you walk? Thanks for your video.
