  • Floating is an important building block of swimming - whether you want to swim for fun or sport, you must learn how to float. So, in this episode of swimming for beginners tutorial by Nisha Millet, an Arjuna Award winner demonstrates how to float in water for beginners without drowning!
    A majority of people who start to learn swimming wonder “Why do I say when I try to float in water?”. Nisha begins this swimming lesson by answering this question and listing the important things beginners should keep in mind when learning how to float in water.

    After three months of learning always with a floater I watched your video and in todays session I swam the entire time with no floats. Short distances then standing. Its liberating

    My biggest prob was to stand after float without support. I tend to sink a bit when I finish the swim. I was unable to stand without support. I will try this.. Thanks a lot

      @@nikki466 Ya. Initially I tried to float using kick board and practiced of standing by pulling legs and hands towards d belly. Now I can do it without kick board too.

    Hello ma'am I request you to take time to kindly clarify my doubts. I'm a beginner at swimming and I would really like to swim. So I joined an institution near me. The coach just says float float float but my legs always sink , they don't even rise to the water level . Kindly help me with some advice to how to float. I've seen this video . But I don't think I understand how exactly are you able to let your lower body float. Please help.

    Please when you get head under the water to float do you breath a little out through your nose or mouth to form bubbles or you completely stop breathing .thank you

    • @simranbhatia6755
      @simranbhatia6755 Рік тому +1

      You never completely stop breathing...because if you stop breathing CO2 will build up in your lungs and it will cause pressure on your heart
      It's okay to hold your breath for a few seconds but ultimately you have to exhale through your nose while under water.
      Ciao
