What am I doing wrong?? I’ve done all of this, but hear no sound when I record videos on my phone.
Why use the IRIG and not plug in directly to phone from Focusrite?
no matter what I do I cant get the output to the irig this is my chain, amp > microphone > interface Mac book > uca202 (converts to midi) into the irig2 > adapter > iPhone 14 nothing absolutely nothing I dunno what to do
Sometimes the iPhones don’t like the adaptor make sure when you plug in the volume goes max and looks transparent almost ghosted on your right side slider bar when you plug the adaptor. Of it doesn’t try powering off the phone then turn it back on see if it’s the adapter that’s the issue
This is the best video so far. My only question would be how do you use the DAW? I’d love a video step by step how to setup reaper 100% to be ready to record a video/live
Dude don't answer for shit
I fail to understand why no one ever explains what app is used on the iphone when recording video/audio. they just say to plug it into the lighting port
It’s because no matter what app you’re using, the internal microphone becomes disabled & the device/external mic source is enabled. It’s pretty straight forward.
@@m32ramseyI’ve done all of these steps but my phone wont record the sound from my audio interface when I record a video. Any idea why this is not working for me?
I’m having the same issue. So frustrating
Same hea
@@Madinnit09BEFORE you plug your lighting port in, go to your camera or whatever video app you use and cut it to video first. If you plug the port in and open the camera it goes straight to photo and when you switch it to video it messes up the connection. So open the video first then plug it in. Cut your phone in airplane mode so no interruptions. If you get any you have to start all over again. Hope this helps 🙏
That of mice and men at the end 🤘🏼
Great tutorial.
What lav do you use to record your videos? And what does it record into? Thanks!
Bro I just hit you up on TT, but this answered a million questions. However, when you stream live, do you preload songs onto reaper or do you just run them from like Spotify or something?
I just bough the irig pro duo and i want to set it up so i can use my own pedalboard. Cant seem to figure it out. Any tips? Thanks
Can you use play backing tracks as well? I want to start doing some guitar covers and don't want to over complicate it.
As a starter for recording, this is great!!
Hey buddy, I just went out and bought a new guitar today. I haven’t had one in a few years. I had to sell mine to pay rent a few years ago with my drums. But I’ve been running around all day trying to figure out how to hook up to my computer or TikTok and I found this on UA-cam. I can’t believe it.😅😅
Thanks for you video Mark. How would this setup look for two people playing a song together in a live situation?
Same thing, but you'll need an interface that can accommodate you with enough inputs.
Can you do a tutorial on what you do on the PC for this?
Awesome Awesome Awesome!!! Thank you!!!
Iam try that out cause I both Irigs
Hello Mark, grettings, i have exactly the same equiptment,i am a dj so where do i plug in my Rane mixer?
Can just plugin the audio directely to the adapter without the irig ??
You need an interface for each device being used hence, The iRig interface’s your phone as the Focusrite interfaces your pc.
You rock, thanks!
This helps, thanks. Any reason why a person couldn't use something like a NUX MG-30 modeler and go from there to the irig, into the dongle and iphone?
I think I’m just missing the On-Stage WHA4500 1/8" to 1/4" TRS Adapter 😩
So to play live with music, you just play spotify or something on the laptop and leave the DAW/amp sim running right?
I have the scarlet 18i20 which has two headphone jacks. I assume too I could take a 1/4 inch from the headphone out to the irig as well?
I would not recommend coming out of the headphone output cuz, it’s an amplified signal.
@@m32ramsey gotcha. Then out of the outputs on back with a 1/4” and route it from there?
Thank you bro
I sm trying to connect my keyboard korg pa5x and i only can i hear my self playing.
iRig it's designed to get a mono TS cable, doesn't it cause trouble to plug a TRS stereo adapter in the iRig input?
May I suggest the bogren digital amp knob plug-ins. Also, I have a scarlett 18I8 with 4 different outputs, is it possible to be able to run direct into the phone via the Irig and have the audio coming out of studio monitors at the same time? If you have tried it is there any latency issues associated with it? Thanks in advance
Hello sir, are you able to make a video on how to do this but with a back track or instrumental from youtube? Would it be the same?
Hi Mark! Great video my guy! I have a Presonus Studio 2/4 audio interface that I've had for a few years now that I was wanting to use to start making tiktok videos. Do you think that it would be a good audio interface for good quality videos?
What about for singing karaoke 🎤. Do you know anything that the voice can be streamed very clear
Awesome video new follower here. I use the Presonus Revelator Interface for live and the Roland Go Mixer Pro x. Cool video using the interface and the I-Rig makes sense for easy hookup.
İ also do it the way you do, play a song on spotify and play along record. Volume is really low, how do i fix it?
Is work whit android usbc samsung?
HELLO AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR TUTORIAL VERY HELP FULL BUT DO I REALLY NEED PLUGINS IF ALL I'M DOING IF LIVE TIKTOK VIDEO FOR DJAYING LIVE
Your correct, no plug-ins for you!! I use them for my guitar tones!🤘🏼Glad my tutorial was helpful.
SO PLUG EVERYTHING LIKE YOU MENTION BUT NO PLUG INS
ALSO MY MACBOOK PRO HAS A PLUG SIMILAR TO A PRINTER IN THE BACK CAN I CONNECT MY SCARLET STRAIGHT TO THAT INSTEAD OF MY C DRIVE TO MY MAC
do get stereo or mono output to the live application.
Sir how can i add my helix with this setup?
Thank you so much ! Great video
how do you connect it to your amp?
This is perfect, thank you!
Thank you so much
It will work also for focusrite itrack dock?
I'm using garageband as my DAW. Bias fx or tone bridge for fx.
How do you sync the audio with the video?
Your using the phone to record Audio & Video at the same time, no need to Sync! Just upload & post!🤘🏼
