Shure SM57... Legend. I have an old one that I used to mic my Vox AC15C1 amp with many years ago. I now use it for my wife's vocals when she livestreams to TikTok and with a bit of EQ and Compression, I got it to sound pretty close to an SM7B. Sounding good in your setup too.
I don't really plan to stream much on TikTok but this video is really good. The editing is great and professional, and the info is laid out really well.

Hello! Great video! Do you know if this device can record stereo? I see the L & R rca inputs but I am not sure about it. I mean if you play using a ping pong delay is this gonna be recorded correctly and sound ok at the tiktok video (given that you use headphones on your phone of course)?
I’d have to test this theory to see. I’ll try to remember to reach out once I see on my next live tonight.
Hi Cannan great video! I have a Presonus Studio 2/4 USB that I've had for a few years that I was wanting to use to start making videos. Do you think that it would be a good audio interface to get quality sound?
Thanks so much! I would imagine so. For my two covers on my channel I used a TS Mini (I hadn’t bought my focusrite at the time) which is a pretty low end audio interface and I feel like the audio turned out fairly good. I think sound quality would probably come more from the mic and/or amp sim you’re running than anything else.
I’m using mine to record from my Rane dj controller and I can’t seem to get it to sound loud after recording I had. My levels set perfectly in yellow just before clip level and it sounded good in headphones but the final recording level sounded low ? Also I’m using iPhone 13
I’m not sure tbh. Sorry. 😬. May have to boost in post but I’m not super savvy when it comes to audio producing.
Can you use this setup do to TikTok Duets? Can you hear audio from phone at the same time as hearing audio from your audio interface? Is there a delay at all?
I believe so. You can hear the audio from your phone through your headphones and it will still record your computer audio as well natively in TikTok. I’ve never noticed a delay but I’ve never tried to play along with audio from my phone either.
I am a singer and I want to play an audio track while singing. Can you add reverb to the vocals only while the music is playing ?
Yes! You would just have to manually turn the reverb on and off as needed.
After everything is hooked up like you have it , Can I just use UA-cam backtrack to run on Tiktok Live while I stream instead of garage band ?
For sure! Any audio playing in the computer you’ll be able to hear. I use UA-cam and Spotify a good bit during my streams.
do you have issue getting the volume right. i just got the Solo and trying to come out of the headphone on my scarlett 2i2 and when i get good volume on headphones it’s way distorted on the iphone
Try turning the volume nob on the Scarlett down a little. If not, mess with the volume wheels on the side of the Solo. I have Stream Level set to 10 and HP Level at 8 with the Loopback turned off.
Hi I am a singer songwriter and I’m going to be doing a live in lounges tv in aug. Can you help me with my set up. I will be using full pro. Original backing tracks either run from my phone or and MP3?? or from my Mac computer? I have a UR 44C audio interface. I have a condensing mic a Mac and an apple iPhone 14
I will be using OBS through Lounges TV. I will also want effects on my microphone and a way of mixing my voice with my tracks 🙈very confused as I have no knowledge of live streaming as I normally play with a live band. Plz can you help x
Do you have a demo of how it sounds when it's all hooked up? I'm seeing a lot of reviews saying it doesn't do what people are wanting.
All I'm wanting to do is essentially stream my recording sessions in Logic. Just show people my process for making music and they can come and hang out, but I obviously want it to sound good.
Would the Irig Solo do that for me? My current recording setup is: Guitar>Boss ME-80>Scarlett 2i2>Logic
Oh nice! I imagine it should as long as you have logic set to sending the audio out to the computer’s system and the computer audio set to send out to the Scarlett 2i2.

On your tiktok livestreams are you able to enter somebody else's box. Ive been having to unplug my irig to be able to hear anyone else when it's my turn to play guitar.
I’m not 100% sure. I know I’ve seen other people keep theirs plugged in but I’ve never done a duet live myself.

What am I doing wrong 😭 cuz my videos come back super bass blasted. I’m putting the audio down as much as I can but then I can’t hear it. The stream and hp volumes are basically the same
Not sure. What do you have the volume set on the IRig? I keep mine between 8 and 10.

My iRig stream won't turn on, no indicator light at all... new batteries, it's connected exactly like this to my apollo twin interface, good cables checked everything.. I guess it just arrived broken??
That’s weird. Is it the iRig Solo I use here?Once it’s connected to the phone there should be a green light that appears on the iRig. Whether or not the iRig is connected to the interface that light should appear. Not sure what to tell you. I suppose I could be just be a defective model.

You need to be keeping your cables short with irig.
My iRig audio sounds awful. Muffled & poor quality. Any suggestions what is going on?
Apologies for taking so long to respond. I’m not sure other than possibly a connection/cable issue or something on the computer/interface end. 🤷🏼♂️
