“Today I have my hair up in a bun because we are talking about productivity” I LOVE THIS. I feel the same way. Whenever my hair is in a bun I feel way more put together and productive.
LOVE planning my ideal week so that when I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing that day, I reference back to my bullet journal which shows my ideal week🥰
To me the key to productivity is to first make sure I’m in a good mental and emotional state. The more unhappy I am the harder it is for me to focus and get motivated to do anything. Beyond that, having concrete deadlines has been a game changer. I won’t devote time to an activity if I think I can work on it another day, month, or year.
Your "Sprint vs. Marathon" is very timely given how many people now work from home. For me, sitting in an office cube environment is the last thing I want to do moving forward. I only head to the office when I have specific tasks to do, then I'm outta there. The result is much better overall productivity and a better work-life balance. Thanks for reinforcing this concept!
Schedules. A studying tip that helps me a lot is to divide the amount of chapters I have to read between the days that are left for the test (or at least leave a week before the test). Generally it equals to just 1 or 2 topics per day, leaving sundays for resting. I like using the Pomodoro technique, it works really well on me.
I feel like this technique would work for me. Already I've come to realize that reading as much as I can in one sitting is too much for me to handle. I just need to figure out how to split up the work evenly since I have a full-time job.
Congrats on your channel growing so quickly. It was only two months ago when you told us you had reached 100k. People obviously love you, your content and your authenticity.😊💖🙏
As well as the ideas in the video, I ensure I know what the weather will be for the week. This helps plan my outdoor jobs around the house and washing days. As well as checking on the nightly news; I check on the Internet
Girl your amazing! I’ve been stressing these past few weeks due to imbalance of trying to get things done! I’m going back to school to get my masters and I work full time and I have a husband! So these tips I will definitely implement today!
Wonderful tips Ashlynne! If I'm doing something important and feel I may pick up my phone and get distracted, I put it in a different room so I'm not tempted to look at it until I'm done 🙂
I can definitely talk about that, but I’d say the biggest thing is just to prioritize appropriately and eliminate the excess! A lot of what we’re talking about here... 😉 🤍
I love the tips! ❤️ And I agree 100% but the phone tip, which I do differently. If I have my phone in another room and muted I start getting anxious just in case someone important needs me (from my mom, to my fiance or someone from work) so what I decided to do is to turn off all notifications from social media (100% allí of them, no exceptions) and use the app 'Forest' to block my phone for 50 min. This way if anyone needs me they can call me, but I don't get distracted by notifications AND I don't get stressed about missing something REALLY important 🤗
As someone with bipolar, when I’m manic I have to rely on other people a lot to tell me when I need to slow down and rest. I try to be so productive and busy when I really need to calm down. Lol
New subscriber here and a starting minimalist. I hope you can make a ‘THINGS I OWN | DIGITAL VERSION’ or what I usually see here in UA-cam as digital minimalism. Thank you.
What's one way that you like to practice _healthy_ productivity? 🤍

“Today I have my hair up in a bun because we are talking about productivity” I LOVE THIS. I feel the same way. Whenever my hair is in a bun I feel way more put together and productive.
A messy bun is your go-to "ready to get shit done" hairstyle 😂
Black Velvet exactly or it’s the I want to pretend I don’t have any hair cause I am hot hairstyle 😅

Absolutely! That’s definitely a big reason I’m a fan of working from home as well! 🙌

Love that! I used a similar technique when studying and found it really helpful!

Great tips Ashlynne! I agree, batch work can be so useful. I often end up doing multiple things at once and just creating more work for myself. x

Minor tip: the B-roll seems unnaturally slow. Hope I don’t sound like a hater, but thanks again for the great advice.
Me: plan an ideal week
My university and my professors: mmm what about not....
You are looking so beautiful 😍
🥰
you keep smiling and talking which totally put me off as if you're mocking those who are not productive.
I'm so glad I work away from home. I'm not one that can focus while at home.
Tip # 26 for saving your money, if you don't need a car sell it and save up to 9000 per year.

I felt such shameful irony that I paused this video to open Spotify 😩
So wild! I find myself doing things like that all the time!

@@AshlynneEaton Thanks for responding! You are a darling!♥️
PRO-ductivity that is how you say it
Loved your tips. Had a hard time listening to you pronounce productivity wrong tho. Think pro not product
