I find it most fun to use trainers and Biplanes for combat since the airplanes are easier to see and slower so that you get more shooting and less looking around. You also will inevitably have mid-air collisions and thus lighter slower planes aren't going to be damaged as easily. - Наука та технологія

I thought there are leds as well to show when hit and when you hit. Want to use a DJI system with it.
They do. There are several sets of LEDs. The "RGB" is a score keeping LED set. The other LEDs flash when hit.
Will this only work on servo planes? I want this for quadcopters
Currently it is for airplanes. There is a quadcopter version coming soon.
How does it do in different light situations?
The IR gun is adjustable via a jumper. It has day and night mode. I just leave it in day mode, honestly.
Is this kit your invention/ design? Been a VAS fan for a little while now, keep the greatness coming!
I started working on this in February of 2017. I finally got it all finished (and patented).

Both. It doesn't even need FPV to work.
