Tip for making the clay easier to work with - I put it in a sandwich bag and stick it in my back pocket for about 20 minutes to get the polymers wamed up and pliable, its much easier on the hands than kneading over and over
What a great idea. My kids are getting into polymer clay so I should totally get into it too!! Your ornaments look soooo good! You're such a clever cookie.
That would be such a fun craft to do together!!! I am really obsessed with how these are looking so I’m sure you will LOVE it too 😍💖 Thanks so much for watching 💖
Hi Tina! I love the idea of making your own ornaments. My favorite was the terrazzo ornament. The moon ornament can be used all year long. They are so inexpensive and creative. That’s for sharing all your creativity with us. Happy Holidays!
TINAHHHHHHHHHH! LOVE these ornaments! Although I celebrate Chanukah, these are perfect holiday gifts especially because I'm home 24/7 these days. Thanks(once again) for the inspiration. You always put a smile on my face AND give me something to occupy my free time with. Stay safe. Congrats are all your followers!
I thought the lunar one was my fav. until I saw the terrazo one! Now I have 2 faves instead of 1! Usually happens with your pieces! LOVE your snowflakes on your yarn wallhanging!! So wintery & cozy! Stay well & TFS, my friend!⚘
I LOVE ALL OF THEM BUT MY FAVORITE IS THE ONE THAT LOOKS LIKE A CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT!!!! REMEMBER I AM A BLING GAL! YOU GAVE ME SO MANY IDEAS, GREAT SHOW!!!! THANK YOU! 🎄🎁🎄🎁🎄🎁🎄
Last year I did a clay ornament with the imprint of the key from my first apartment, and I plan to continue the tradition this year with the key to my new apartment!
@@tinalemac Definitely past bedtime 😆😴 The ornaments turned out so cute! I loved the moon especially 🤩🥰 I need to try working with clay if I find the time for it before Christmas! Thanks for always inspiring me 💜
OMG! I made some clay ornaments with embossing with a circle shape but a Christmas tree shape is so cute!🥰And that moon one with gold👌🏼 perfect Also can I just tell you how much I love the diy introductions!😍
I bought a few sets of clear acrylic alphabet stamps so I could use with an acrylic block for personalized ornaments. Each set is only 26 letters, plus numbers and punctuation marks, so I needed several so I don't have to stamp several times if I need the same letter several times. The font is super cute too. It was a stamp and die set. Each set was only $6 brand new so it wasn't too bad.
Love homemade ornaments!!! The moon is my favorite of the 3 but as usual I had a tough time choosing. Advise you to date the back of ornaments so that 40 years from now you won't have to guess what year you made them lol
Looove! I can’t choose between the lettered one and the terrazzo one. If I had those letters I would make one that says “2020 LOL” :P How’s the oven baked clay compare to the air dry clay? I imagine you have to work quickly with the air dry one, or that it’s harder to keep the leftover clay, but maybe not (?). Perhaps the texture or kneadability is different? Thnx!
I actually made one that says “bah hum bug 2020” 😂 And I feel that air dry clay feels more like traditional clay, whereas polymer clay has a slight rubbery feel to it? It’s also easier to keep because it doesn’t dry out! Even if it’s uncovered! 🙏🏼
@@tinalemac haha love it. And thanks, good to know!! I was also wondering, did you have any favorite local craft supply stores in Chicago? I’m trying to stop buying from the bigger retailers. Thnx!
My favourite was the moon, and second the tarizto (not sure spelling is correct) have seen it about very little over here which I think is s shame. Really need to visit a craft shop to get some clay of any kind, I've tried to order it recently and they are only selling it in stores.🤔🤨😃❤👍👍
I really like the ornaments. Quick tip for making straight words.. I would try to rubber band them together and than press on the clay. But if I'm honest I like the style of yours not so straight words. Well done.👍💙
That extra sanding made it look so legit!
Yessss! It totally transformed them. They look so, so good and I’m very happy with them 😍💖💖
Love all 3!! If I HAD to choose 1, I think the gold leaf moon is my 1st choice. 💜💜
I love love the moon ornament it's beautiful
please give us more clay diys! i've been loving them!!
YESSSS! I have a giant tub of air dry clay that I am itching to get into. Just need to brainstorm what I can make next 😇💛
Love that gold leaf technique!

Love all your diy projects. I can't wait to see how to make nativity, santa claus and christmas alphabet. White and neutral perfect combination.
Going to have the best tree in Cali 🤩. As always, these came out amazing, honey!
Now all we need is some hot coco! I can't wait! 🥰🎄

Yes, of course you can! 💛 The colored one could be a bit tricky to find in air dry clay though!

Thank you so much for your inspiration💜❄️⛄️💕❤️
@@tinalemac YT has a couple of vids on adding poster paint and acrylic paint to air dry clay. I might try a small test when I get my a d clay.

Hi CZ!! Love your creations!
I like the moon ornament best

So lovely!! how do you store the leftover clay?
I just put it into a container! Luckily, polymer clay doesn’t really dry out (:

Yes! I need to start doing that to all of them! Maybe I can stamp them for an extra special touch 🥰💖
I started watching your videos on Wednesday morning and then went out the afternoon to get clay 😂 Love your videos!
Awww! Thank you so much for watching, glad you got inspired to make something 😍💖

Hi Ana!! Thanks so much for showing so much love on here and IG 🥰💖
How heavy are these? I am worried they will weight the branches down or slip right off.
The weight will depend on how thick you make them, but I didn't have any issues with it weighing down our tree branches. Hope that helps! (:

Such a great tip! I wish they snapped together like other ones I've seen! But I love how it came out anyways 🥰
