This busking session was my introduction to Ren and I adore him. I'm old enough and was lucky enough to have attended a BM concert many years ago, legend! Great reaction guys, thanks!
The Big Push have lots of busking videos. Fab band shame they are all doing other things at the moment but there is still a chance when timing right they will get together again.
Another great reaction. "The Big Push" busking sessions, concerts, and live recordings all are amazing and well worth checking out. The members of "The Big Push" are all independent solo artists who struck up a friendship, moved in together, and formed the band. Ren Gill, Gorran Kendall, and Romain Axisa take turns singing lead vocals at times, except for the drummer Glen Chambers. However, each of the band members is currently focusing on a solo career due to Ren's absence. The band, at least for the time being, performed their last official busking session and gave their last concert in September 2022 due to the fact that Ren was leaving for Canada to undergo treatment for his multiple health issues. I believe they did record some songs yet to be released. No telling what the future holds for them, individually or as a group. Their covers of "I Shot The Sheriff/Road To Zion/Hip Hop," "Wade in the Water/Nina Simone/Trouble So Hard," "Watch Out," “War Pigs,” “Roadhouse Blues,” "My Generation," “Paint It Black,” "An Englishman in New York," “Bongo Bong,” and many others are all awesome. On “These boots are made for walking’/Satisfaction/Everybody,” “Praise You” (Fatboy Slim Cover), and “What Kind Of Woman Is This,” all three take a turn singing. Their original songs "Oh My Woman," “Swan Song,” “Sweet Little Lady," "It's Alright," “Dignity,” “Watch Out” and so many others are equally impressive. Gorran Kendall is a singer/songwriter/busker from the UK. He plays the bass, electric and acoustic guitar, the harmonica, and frequently sings lead for "The Big Push." As a solo artist, he is a folk singer, and his music is reminiscent of 60s folk. I love Gorran's music. Romain Axisa is a singer/songwriter/busker originally from Toulouse, France, where he started playing the guitar at age 12. At age 14, he was the singer in a rock band and later became a rapper. He plays guitar, bass, piano, and the ukulele (pineapple ukulele) featured in the song "Bongo Bong." In addition, Romain sings lead on a few "The Big Push" songs. His solo music is unique, and I don't know what genre it would be categorized as. I really enjoy his music as well. I would highly recommend watching/listening to their song "Dignity." Not only is it a beautiful song but the accompanying music video offers the audience an intimate view into their day-to-day on and off-stage interaction. It's almost like being there with them in their home, on the streets, and on stage. It is one of my favorite videos and has been very underappreciated and overlooked by most reactors and fans alike.
Great reaction. Thanks! Oh and as I don't think anyone has mentioned it. The "With a little bit of luck" part is by DJ Luck & MC Neat. and is actually called "A Little Bit of Luck" 😁😁
I've seen a fair number of concerts in my day, but I have to say that this is one of my all-time favorite live performances. And they were a busking band, not a band backed by a record label with scads of money. Great reaction, and subbed!
Glad you got around to watching this version.......did think "you've watched the wrong one!!" when i watched your reaction to "the other version" or as i like to call it alternativly "the wrong one!" As for more BIg Push recommendations?? well all of their Street performances are great...i like their cover of "Bongo Bong" by Manu Chao, their cover of Stings "Englishman in NewYork" is also well worth checking out...or you could even dip into their own original material! I really like the video to "Sweet Little Lady (live acoustic)"...but whatever you choose it'll be a banger! Well done RND...another great reaction
The best part is that first line of “Hip Hop” by Dead Prez is a line from Bob Marley’s “Trenchtown Rock” One thing about music, when it hits you feel no pain
Enjoying your reactions so much. "The Big Push" performance of "War Pigs" by Black Sabbath is also amazing. I also can't wait to see your reaction to Ren's "Money Game (Part 3)".
Great reaction! I ***kin love you two. I must have watched people react to this hundreds of times and yet I watched this with a huge smile on my face seeing how you were both amazed as the songs progressed. Thanks and I’ll see you next time 😊
You two just put a smile on my face. You guys just come across as top people. Tell you what, I think you should do Genesis and Genesis (acoustic) in one hit. They are both brilliant in their own ways. Keep up the good work!
Brilliant you came back and did this one. My favourite track is them doing Wade in the Water, but a killer track is Ren with Chinchilla Busking doing " One Dance/Drunk in Love " then blow your mind with Chinchilla " Fingers Live for Hunger TV " Great support and reaction.
Another great mash up was from this very same set. It's "War Pigs" a different genre ( classic Rock) but I hope u guys give it a reaction too! Keep up the great work...
I think he’s like a Mozart he can hear the notes that match a different song so you can put them together not to mention all his own stuff. ❤❤ also if you don’t know who dead Prez is you should check them out that’s where he got the hip-hop part they’re amazing. There’s so much music unheard because of societies misconceptions of a good or bad language is ❤ Let’s keep Ren independent
If you fancy seeing 'Skilled on a Guitar, i would suggest 'Stevie Ray Vaughan-Texas Flood-Live at the El Mocambo' Out of this world,he also does a cover of Voodoo Child which is a worthy cover
I love this reaction you two are becoming my favs on yt. React to the Big Push Swan Song Goran takes lead on that and a lot of the Big Push songs.❤❤❤ you're smiles said it all 😂😂😂
Ja need to complete Money Game w pt 3. There are other cuts from this busking with them performing War Pigs and also performing Paint it Black... all from the same set. Their original work is also a good watch and each is so talented. Romain (guy in black w the solo) has done work w Ren since (he's in Money Game 3) ... and also watch Ren's LIVE versions of Murderer and also For Joe. Could go on but watch these... you'll get the hits from the Ren fans because the vids are sooo different between the high productions, the small settings, and the busking. ☮☮
Money Game 3 reaction dropping next week! also have Ren's acoustic version of murderer on our channel! Will definitely check the others out, thanks for the suggestions
Just found you guys, fellow brummie 💥 Some more Big Push for you - Sweet Little Lady live (its a Big Push original) Wade in the Water - Nina Smone War Pigs Or his busking collaborator vids with Sam Tompkins or CHINCHILLA are all fire
Legend! I think you might be the first Brummie to drop us a comment, really appreciate the suggestions we’ll definitely check some of these out, our reaction to Wade in the water and English man in New York will be dropping over the next few days, thanks for tuning in!
Thanks for the suggestions! we actually have a reaction to all parts of "Tale of jenny and screech" on the channel, thanks for checking out the page we appreciate ya
Great content, You guys need to listen to ren and Sam Tompkins live on the street there are 2 videos shot for the same performance one is called blind eyed and the other is same old situation amazing, look for a white wall backdrop and Sam in his Nike jacket ren in a white t shirt both amazing vids ✌🏻 🇬🇧
The Big Push are fabulous. It's not quite correct to call it Ren's band. It is a band, Ren was in. Three of the 4 were frontmen, so they share who leads from one song to another; or switch up between songs. They have a great array of songs ranging from mash ups to their own work. You can't go wrong with the Big Push. Ed to add. I think this was filmed on the band's last day busking before Ren had to leave for Canada for treatment. There are a few other songs with them wearing the same clothes/set-up. They were on fire that day. Glad to see you enjoy the performance. Precious; Englishman in New York; Dignity; Wade in the Water; Bongo Bong; ...hell, all their songs are good, some are just fractionally better than others!!!
I think a lot of his scatting comes from his love for Nina Simone, I can hear her all over his music the way he confuses songs together or adds a little bit of extra jiuge
Great reaction although when i see those cheap Chinese lasers shining directly into your eyes makes me cringe a little. Those things can do permanent damage, even though they are very weak compared.
This band has such high vibes; all their music makes you feel good! I love their covers of Bongo Bong and Praise You, but all their stuff is stunning.
Ren's pure artistry makes me tear up even on the upbeat songs. And The Big Push is a stunningly great band.
Lu et approuvé tellement 🙏👍👏💖🇫🇷
This busking session was my introduction to Ren and I adore him. I'm old enough and was lucky enough to have attended a BM concert many years ago, legend! Great reaction guys, thanks!
Great reaction and fantastic gig, Dead Prez at the end is just awesome, so much more to see 🙏🦉❤️🐊👍
There's another 4 videos from this performance, all are exceptional.
If I heard this on the street I’d think I’d died & gone to heaven it’s soooo good ❤️
The Big Push have lots of busking videos. Fab band shame they are all doing other things at the moment but there is still a chance when timing right they will get together again.
A shame would be if they weren't all making music .
@@adancer3592 true they all have their projects but when they are together it’s magic ✨ 🪄
