Ren is British and we Brits have strong ties with Jamaica. Jamaicans and Trinidadians have had a huge influence on our music for MANY years and we have a lot of great reggae and ska artists, MCs and so on born and bred in the UK. The UK Drum n Bass scene can trace a direct lineage back to the Jamaican Sound System culture and we have a general, genuine love for our Jamaican bredren. Bob Marley himself referred to the UK as his second home because he was pretty much 'discovered' in London where he signed his first record deal and lived here for a while.
Ren transcends borders for sure. Love expressed in a musical form connects us all. As Marley said One Love. That is where we need to get to. Much Love to you all.
