Recommendation: curly hair routine when you're traveling. How to maintain curl definition with less products and time because you are on the go. Thanks!
Loving all the fine-haired, curly girl gingers that are coming out of the woodwork! Gingers are so under-represented on UA-cam. Random tidbit that has nothing to do with curly hair method, but when I first started watching UA-cam I remember searching for makeup tips for redheads (lip/blusher colors, etc), and NOTHING could be found. It's pretty much still like that. So sad!
Yes same!!! When I was like 14/15 I was desperate to find gingers in the media or on UA-cam that I could get makeup and hair tips from but there was no one! I've found some curly gingers through my Instagram page though! And I'm glad to be providing inspo for other ginger curlies, yay!!
SO SO happy to FINALLY find someone with the same fine, curly hair I have - after YEARS of watching youtube videos of curly hair routines and having to adjust. SO glad you´re here for us! If you´re looking for suggestions I´d LOVE to see CURLY HAIR ROUTINE ON A BUDGET or a product review of MAUI MOISTURE. Thanks so much!
🥰tips🥰 -> Stop using heating tools! -> stop cutting your hair --> use natural hair products -> don’t obsess over hair growth! -> scalp massages! my own tip: RICE WATER!!😃💕
I had Auburn hair when I was young but I am grey now so I dye it. Last year a hairdresser left foils in too long and it fried, so my hair is now very short. Most of the damaged snapped off in clumps and then I had it trimmed. I am now on the 'grow my hair back' journey. Thanks for the tips.
Can you please please please make a video reviewing different products? (gels, oils, creams, leave-ins ect.) If you could talk about what you found worked well and what didn't or what to look for and what to avoid. That would be amazing!
My mom is a ginger. I'm a brunette but I inherited her fine curly hair. I have such a difficult time getting my hair to grow without getting split ends or breaking off. Especially after DevaCurl.
Fellow fine curly ginger here! Your skin and makeup is beautiful- give me the low down please (so hard to find natural gingers for beauty tutorials) oxox
I went for a basic trim/shape up in January and my hairdresser chopped off 4-5 inches of my hair :( I haven’t cut it since and I usually get it cut every 3 months lol...but it’s taking so long to grow. It only returned to my normal-ish length around August, but I’ve decided that I want to go long like yours now, so I’ll have to wait a bit longer. I’ll probably get a trim soon tho. I haven’t had long hair for like 5 years, so now that I’m able to control my curls better it’ll be interesting to see what it’ll look like :) thanks for the video!
I looooove watching your videos, I'm obsessed!!! I could stare at your beautiful hair all day. I wonder if you do any protein treatments and/or deep conditioning? Would love to see a video about that!!
You look so much more beautiful with curly hair. I’ve discontinued all heat tools so I can grow mine and it’s working. My hairdresser is awesome about light trimming every 6 months.i LOVE your color. I am naturally blonde and my hairdresser found the perfect color copper for me.i can’t imagine ever going back to my natural color. 😄
Thank you for the tips 💛 I am on the curly hair journey again but I have already lots of grey hair and I’m only applying hair dye to the roots of my hair, not the lengths. Still, I wish I wouldn’t need to but I just don’t like walking around with grey hair 😥🙈
Can you do a week in the life, and how you maintain your curls even in the last few days before a wash? I’m so curious to see where you’re at at days 5-7! I always succumb to brushing them after day 2 and they completely fall out by the end of the week
Love seeing another curly girl with fine, dirty blonde hair! Ive started my curly healing journey just within the last few weeks, excited for more content!
Hey, I really love your videos 🥰 I'd love to see a video about what to do before you go to sleep, so you don't destroy your curls overnight by lying on them😊
My Granddaughter’s hair is so beautiful, similar to yours. She cuts her hair off so short, too short, but it grows like a weed like mine. You are blessed Sweets!
Omg your channel is too good like it all works so well. Now i have startes to love my curls. I hope u make more videos just like this and also I love your curls..... And please to recommend some cheap products (a kind request)
I have different types of curls - the nape of my neck has tighter curls next to almost straight pieces. The rest of my hair is medium curly. The tight curls seem to stop growing at just below my shoulders, while the rest of my hair keeps growing. I want to get my hair to reach my bra strap level, but it starts to look really uneven at that length with the tight curls being way shorter than the rest of my hair. How can I get my hair to grow evenly? When I was pregnant and breastfeeding all of my hair grew like crazy, but then I got a bad haircut and have never been able to get my length back. 😕
What kind of haircut do you recommend for this type of hair? Because whenever I style my curls a few hours go by and all the hair from my roots to about my ears goes straight. Everyone usually tells me it’s the weight of my hair because of the haircut but I can never seem to find one that works for me.
Try carols daughter goddess conditioner shampoo.oil shampoos okive almond oil.and cleansing conditioner like wen can make hair fall out that brand on some.
The only time I go to straighten my hair is for like Christmas season and it’s only once a year so I think I give my hair quite some time to recover and the thing is my hair is quite long but ever since I was little I’ve wanted really really long hair
My hair is really curly like urs and it sucks it literally won't grow and I had my hair cut short like a boy but I dont always wash my hair coz natural oils in my hair and my sister says its wrong for me to not wash my hair everyday but it's good to not wash my hair all the time it keeps my hair growing but I'd like it to grow faster than it is
I color my hair but have used a slightly modified version of the curly girl method for 1 1/2 years now (I used a wide tooth comb after a shower each morning, and a sulfate shampoo every 2-3 months). I go to my same hairdresser for over 18 years and she does not know how to do curly cuts but is great at highlighting. My hair has grown to a good chest length but I can’t get the middle of the back section to grow to the same length as the rest. It looks funny in the back because the side of the back are longer than the midsection by like 3-4 inches. Please help?! Thanks
You're inspiring! I was struggling so much with getting gel to work for me. Your methods helped me so much because I have similar length/curl type! Though I'm curious, is there a reason you don't use Devacurl? Because if you think the products you've used work as well or better, I'd love to switch to those because Deva is expensive.
I'm glad I've helped you! DevaCurl isn't that easy to get in the UK, plus it's kinda pricey, but that's the only reason I don't use it! It's definitely on my list to try - but there are also so many other great products out there!
I have really curly hair and I cut it about 7 months ago, I have had absolutely NO growth and it’s extremely frustrating because I always follow these steps. Is it possible that I just have really stubborn/slow growing hair?😭 any product recommendations?
I’m in the process of growing out a pixie cut, is it okay to get a haircut every three months? It’s currently really frustrating since the top layers have finally gotten to a decent length, but then the back is now looks like a curly mullet
Hey, of course! It's your hair at the end of the day so you gotta do whatever is best for you and whatever you feel most comfortable doing! I've never personally grown out a pixie cut but I get that there's an awkward in-between stage!
What curl type for your hair? Your natural hair is really pretty,Lot of natural curls They Start Feeling so embrace their curls They using lot of heat definitely damaging the hair! I think they should embrace your natural hair texture and take good care of It! Sometimes you can change up little bit using some heat not too often! You can straightening your hair 1-2 twice a year won’t hurt your hair and few days been straightening using tong adding some loose curls until you wash Comeback your natural texture I wish I have natural hair like you, looser wavy curls my favorite curl type!
I’m growing my hair but my hairdresser insists I should have it cut every 8 weeks?! She’s very experienced and not cheap. I’m convinced that it’s due to the 💴 rather than the health of my hair!
If you’ve had all the damage cut off and you want to grow your hair I don’t think every 8 weeks is necessary. Every curl specialist I’ve seen has said 3-6 months tbh
@@hanzcurlsExactly! I don’t dye it so it’ll just be heat damage and I try to look after my hair. I swear it’s just to make more money rather than for my hair’s benefit! :-(
Lesson learned twice the hard way as a curly haired girl. Stay away from any salon stylist that is bleached and blown out. They will ultimately and completely destroy your hair. Whether it be right away or in time. They have no idea how to deal with curly hair. Not a clue. I will never step foot I. A salon for even a simple root color. My last visit to my stylist ended in me losing more than half of my hair volume to breakage at the very root. AFTER 2 and a half years of nursing my back from the the first individual that ruined my hair. Just leave it alone. My own personal experience within a 3 year period. What a joke, if you love your hair stay away from the salon blow out slags.

Not all heroes wear capes. :)
I've watched so many UA-cam videos today trying to learn more. It was nice to cut to the chase!
Your video has made a very big impact on making my hair much healthier. I love your tips for the curly girl method! ♥️
My son has his own piano channel. My son has natural curly hair. I'm his mom. I love your channel. You helped make a big difference in my hair.

You can wear a silk/satin bonnet at night😊

love the video! One question, what about hair vitamins? What are your thoughts? Thanks!
Hey! Sorry for my late reply. I’ve never used hair vitamins personally, so I can’t really offer any advice on that.
I was legit thinking about leaving a comment asking for this video and then I got the notification! Haha Thank you!

When to wash my hair after using oil and massaging?
Most people do the scalp massage the evening before if washing in the morning, I think!
what is your curl type?
I have really curly hair and I cut it about 7 months ago, I have had absolutely NO growth and it’s extremely frustrating because I always follow these steps. Is it possible that I just have really stubborn/slow growing hair?😭 any product recommendations?
It’s probably breakage, I have started using protective styles, AKA buns and braids, and I’ve seen so much improvement!!
I’m in the process of growing out a pixie cut, is it okay to get a haircut every three months? It’s currently really frustrating since the top layers have finally gotten to a decent length, but then the back is now looks like a curly mullet

Yes if your hair is damaged you still need to get it cut, and getting it trimmed every few months once it’s healthy is good!
