I am dramatic, but at 67 I am afraid the geometric hair makes me look older. I would love to hear you talk about hair and aging for body types.

Hi! Not an expert as Aly, but I think curves/small forms could age a dramatic face even more than straight/big forms. A tiny or softly curved hair could make the dramatic features look heavier/drier in contrast, as opposed to a harmonious, more blunt/heavy hair. Just my two cents! ❤
As a hairdresser I'll often point cut into the line so that it's still blunt but not as harsh as a straight across line. Hope that makes sense.
Not to be disagreeable, but the whole point of Kibbe is that age and weight are irrelevant.
No matter your age feathery, soft and rounded will always look off.
In my opinion, geometric hair is so chic and always looks modern 😁

I thought it was interesting that you mentioned sometimes blush can be just too much on Dramatics. I notice this on myself -- I never use it cause it just somehow *always* looks too "put on"? IDK.. What is that? hahaa

You are amazing and this is so helpful. It explains why I wear my hair in a ponytail every day; it is sleek and out of my face. It also explains why wispy hair is the kiss of death on me.
I wish you included more examples of long hair and curly hair. Most of the “long” hair examples were just past the shoulders, and most of the curl examples were extremely short, rounder shapes. Most people with curly hair try to grow it out as curls are easier to maintain when they’re longer and slightly more weighed down. So many of the examples here had cropped pixie cuts, which is such an uncommon hairstyle for most women.
So 5/10 in terms of the usefulness of this video.

The problem with most of Claire Danes pictures is that she is warm-toned. Light, cool colors especially don't work, black is not great either.
When will you post dramatic classic video? Also, I wish you talked more about the vibe. Vibe is different than the body type. For example, I am dramatic classic but I definitely have a strong dramatic vibe.

Great that you included Sheryl Lee Ralph because I was wondering her type. I’ve come across some of her movies from the 80’s and 90’s and she had some great looks!
She has amazing curves so I was surprised to see her typed as a dramatic. I would have guessed a curvy flamboyant natural.

If youre a dramatic maybe you could try a peekabo blonde (i think its called). Basically its just putting in blonde extensions or dying bottom hair blonde.

Hey look into the soft dramatic body type maybe?
Or a dramatic body and something else in the face? I'm 172 cm tall, lean and "dry" and look good in a costume. But blunt, geometric haircuts look simply awful on me, they make my face look fat and my hair looks flat and thin (and it's actually very thick and difficult to style, so I prefer not to wear it very long...)
I don't think I'm soft dramatic or flamboyant natural either, because I'm so dry and narrow. My husband once said I look like a too long ballet dancer...

Calm down dude. It's not gospel. She's just giving advice. Plus you absolutely can have long blonde hair if you want, it just might not do you any favours - it depends on your natural colouring
