Aly Art hi Aly do you have a video on how to shape eyebrows for hooded eyes?
I enjoyed this video a bit too much kept smiling at the pictures sorry not sorry ☺️😬 Please do more video transformations love those maybe do girl band series x
Wow, amazing😍👏👍 unbelievable interpretation, never thought that men have different types too
PLEASE DO CLOTHES FOR MALE BODY TYPES!!!!
Ok ))
Yes I would love to see more about the men’s body types and what they should wear, not finding enough information about it on the internet
@@AlyArt Yes please. And please a video for beard styles.
@@torilorna2750 Have you ever noticed that there are studies after studies *gauging* female attractiveness (neoteny, WHR, legs ratio, what colours to wear, literally everything), there are millions of fashion styles, millions of make up products, artstyle and animated media showing the same damn face, but for dude it's just "have a nice jaw and cheekbones and some abs you good babe" ?
Do you have a video like that? I would be really interested!
Aly, could you do a video about what fashion era style goes best with which body type? A random example, 70's fashion (bell bottoms, floral tops, square toed boots) look best best on _______ body types etc
Think would be fun and interesting since each era has their fav body type ☺
Yes I'd love that! I am a theatrical romantic (I think) and 50s style looks best on me I think.
@@togiiproductions I'm a classic and would like to figure out my era :)
I can see 50's style fitting your type!
togiiproductions Hmm... I feel like 30’s and 40’s would suit me best. I’m a soft dramatic :)
Andrea Velez I love this idea!
I’m a soft natural and honestly I think La Belle Époque would’ve been perfect for me :’( but yes this is a great idea!
1:50 Dramatic (100% Yang)
5:50: Soft Dramatic (Yang with slight yin)
7:55 Naturals (dramatic or flamboyant)
10:35: soft Natutals
thank you:)
Thanks darling 💖
Oh my God she is BACK!!!!
I thinks she takes her time because she wants to do quality videos as opposed to "viral" ones. She's a true gem.
I told my husband he was totally a soft natural… he said “ohhh thank you!”. He has no idea what I meant. Haha
Haha 😂 I’ll be staring at my husband all day to figure out his body type lol
Hahahaha!
shouldve told him hes like Brad Pitt 😂
Now I know why me & my boyfriend always look really weird like an asterix & obelix couple when we stand next to each other in pictures. I am a romantic - soft all around even at my lowest weight - and he is a dramatic.
Want more examples and info on this exact topic!!!!!
That is a lovely couple combination !
Same with my boyfriend!
Your kids are going to be some kind of gamine 😄
Same with me and my boyfriend lol
Could we get a video on how to dress for each type for men? I'm sure there are plenty men interested in how to dress according to their body, and not to mention all the women trying to help the men in their life!
Can you do a video on underwear/lingerie for the body types that would be so helpful!
YES PLEASE!
+ swimsuits!!!
you said you're Russian, what a great English!!! it almost tricked me into thinking you were a native speaker.
Right?!! She puts so many native speakers to shame with her eloquence. Her manner of speaking reminds me of a lady from nobility. Very chic and elegant.
@@kurapikakurta3863 I agree!! She's so classy.
Random sidenote: I love how the green plant contrasts with the dark background.
For some reason this is easier to recognize for me on men than on women!
same!!!!
Maybe because they are shirtless so often in pictures...
me too... the only one that throws me off is Daniel Craig because he looks like a sort of natural to me
I was wondering actually if the body types were genetic, and i totally see it now. My dad is definitely a soft dramatic, and my mum is a flamboyant natural. Then me and my sister are soft dramatic and soft natural.
I'm looking at your video and I wonder why you only had non people of color on the video... Does this not apply to other nationalities, Asian, middle eastern, mexican, african american?
She's from Eastern Europe, we don't see nearly enough foreigners of color to draw conclusions. I'm sure if she used poc as examples many of them would come for her and tell her she 's wrong and be offended.
Also I was thinking that two body types combined can create another body type in the child. For instance a SD and Romantic could create a TR child. Not based on actual evidence just as a for instance.
rectangle body shape .what is dramatic ? 😂
Somehow it was really refreshing to see this kind of body analysis applied to men
Omg I was waiting for a male version of this
I looked at my bf and I think he's a natural or a soft natural but I don't really know yet lol
Okay after watching this I think he is a natural, irregular slim nose, blunt wide bones, moderate size, really wide rather angular shoulder and always has a flat stomach (jealous of this)
I told my dad this morning that he is a soft natural.. now let's watch and see 😁
@@radwaakrash4588 I think my dad is a soft natural too, the wide shoulders seem to be a giveaway for natural
Marie Eich I do the same to my bf, I analyze his lines and even colours, he hates it 😁
@@mishynaofficial It doesn't work as simple as that :)
I’m addicted to these for some reason! Shot out to my lady soft naturals!!!
May Coleman 💕
Haaay
Heyyy 🥰👋🏽
I love how you used examples from different and older eras! You are a breath of fresh air compared to all the “beauty gurus” who all are so similar!
I was waiting for this video since you said that David kibe is a theatrical romantic as I remember ❤️ now I like the video before watching
Thank you so much )))
Yes i also read in a magazine that Leo Dicaprio was a gamine & was waiting for this since then
@@bibimbap5917 leo's head is bigger than average to his body and he's not that tall Iooks like a gamine to me yes
@@bibimbap5917 He' s a Romantic
Wasn't David Bowie a dramatic? he is the epitome of dramatic type imo. He also wasnt that tall but he looked super tall because of his vertical line.
He was.
I appreciate the moment of silence we get at 9:56 to take in how absolutely gorgeous Harrison Ford is
LOL...I enjoyed that as well!
Lol
This is what I was looking for when I looked at the comments.
OMG I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
THank you so much!!
@@AlyArt
No thank YOU for doing this, your body type series is the BEST.. I love it so much & learn from it alot
I can't wait to see more..
Could u do more videos on men. This was really interesting
The one that stands out the most that I would type differently is Daniel Craig, he has always come off with the impression of not being very tall to me and his upper body is very wide with slope shoulders so I would say he’s like a true natural.
Also I’m so glad you’re uploading again :)
I agree, he is only 5'10 which is pretty average height, and seems more blunt than sharp in general.
Kathleen-Delilah Evans I know right! I didn’t know his height... but it seems like that alone would disqualify him from being dramatic?!
I feel like Kibbe might mistype people sometimes. hahah
@@SarahAlexandraLee I know what you mean, I was rather confused with him being classed as dramatic due to that. Haha true! I've been confused with a few other examples from time to time.
@@kathleen-delilahevans5575 I agree!!!
Totally agree, he has a lot of blunt angles and is less vertical lines than the other male examples
I think that naturals are more manly than dramatics.
We can see that on women to.
Broadness are considered more manly than dryness
Aline F. So true!!!
Yah i always thought so...
As an SN, I agree 100%. The relative thinness and daintiness of dramatics as compared to naturals comes off as more feminine to me.
You bassically said that all this theory is wrong...??! If you know better go write a book or bring some arguments
@@LBI-oe7dj that's definitely not what was said. OP's comment has more to do with cultural perceptions of what looks "manly" than it does with actual skeletal and flesh yin/yang balance. Dramatic may be full yang on the scale but, culturally speaking, most people would agree that Harrison Ford looks more "manly" than Benedict Cumberbatch. Different cultures have different perceptions on what makes a person "manly" or "girly" - it has nothing to do with typing.
It's interesting to me how it's more challenging to distinguish between the male body types. I think part of this is simply because we're drawing primarily from actors and celebrities, who tend to adhere to a much stricter fitness regimen than the average human. There are a couple exceptions in this video- Dick Van Dyke being the most obvious, I think.
Then, even among actors- it becomes more confusing when I think of them in different roles! Christian Bale in The Machinist vs. Vice vs. American Psycho. Whaaaaa?? X-D
I can so clearly see that my husband is soft natural, and that actually helped me figure out my own type as flamboyant natural. I have stronger eyebrows and more bluntness in my face than him, even though I've got feminine curves.
I love that you did a male version of your body type videos, so helpful and informative, especially when evaluating for clothing choices, and better understanding overall proportion. Thank you for this :)
This hairstyle looks SO good on you, wow
Oooh Aly, I'm going to now figure out all the men in my life ! 💞 what is the name of the beautiful lipstick you are wearing. I must have! Love you to pieces !
ahahah Thank you! You will laugh - but it's same pencil on my lips as always -

12:07 that pic of george clooney really caught me off guard
Such a cutey
😂😂totally
Can`t wait for part 2!
Well, I have never seen younger photos of these actors...now I know why they are considered so sooo handsome...😶
This was so fun to watch. My boyfriend is 100% gamine - I always wondered how he's a complete mixture of opposites. Small, very slim, sharp cheekbones and a very angular chin, but huge eyes and overall rather delicate :D
Would be lovely to see a "fashion for the bodytypes" video for men ❤
This is so exciting! Can’t wait to see all the others. I have few guys I really want to analyze!
Your video made me realize HOW hetreo I am xD You talking about men even gave me all the feels xD
Flamingo Fight haha so true ! Each time she was showing a new picture, I was like wow, wow, he's gorgeous, no this one is better etc Haha
✨❤️🔥Men❤️🔥✨
I love how she describes all with a smile on the face 😀
Why u love that..?
I find the Kibbe body type series of yours so fascinating. And the mens Kibbe is very interesting too!
My favourite band, Oasis, has two brothers that seem to be different Kibbe types.
The lead singer (Liam Gallagher) had a very pretty face when he was younger.
He had large eyes, thick lashes, a thick (nearly) monobrow and a full mouth.
But, he also had a long, strong looking nose and angular features. He had broad shoulders, and is averagely tall (5'10").
Now that he's almost 50, his eyes still look pretty, but his face has a sharper, harsher look while still being good looking - he no longer has the softer face of his youth.
He has a very dramatic personality and loves attention. lol
He's never picked a certain style to wear, but he most always picks clothes that suit him and his hairstyles usually look well on him and do seem to showcase his bone structure.
I thought at first he was romantic, then dramatic, natural and maybe he's a flamboyant natural.. he has thick and heavy hands and blunt, thick fingers.
I find this interesting because his older brother, while they bear a similarity, has a totally different body type and structure. (more on the brother on Mens' Kibbe types pt. 2)
I actually like the slightly cutish ones...
Dear Aly your english is so good! I Polish with not very good english but I love your voice I understand you very good, for much better than natives!!! Thank you for your work.
This was very enjoyable... a slideshow of handsome men 🤤 I thoroughly enjoyed this.
Aly: sorry if I pronounce the names wrong
Also Aly: *proceeds to pronounce a really difficult last name perfectly*
Kudos Aly!!!!! All the love 😅💚
I would love to know which types look best with no facial hair, a little stubble, and a full beard. Thank you!
i can't believe i can type my boyfriend but i'm still doubtful about my type
I'm pretty sure James McAvoy is some kind of gamine, also my boy David Sylvian. So excited for part 2!
It would be very interesting to type men of MCU. They all have a shirtless scene. It is interesting what results each of them got from their working out routines and dieting. Like no matter what no-one could outdo Chris Hemsworth. Chris Pratt used to be famous for being chubby and when you see him in Guardians vol1 he is at his top form very muscly, but still soft, in IW he is still muscly, but you can see he's struggling with not gaining fat on top of muscle. Than you've got Paul Rudd very dry muscles, small. Sebastian Stan keeps getting skinny on the other hand, like it is a struggle for him to keep the muscles. Look at him in WS, than in CW he's muscly, but a bit more flesh on his face. Than in Endgame he's so skinny. It might be that the roles in other films influenced his appearance, but it is interesting to see what different types are prone to.
I think I would type clark gable as a soft natural. I've always been very struck by width in his shoulders and face. His hands have a broad strong look to me.
This is so exciting! I love the varied beauty in both men and women...
But especially men 🙃
For the love of cheekbones add Tom Hiddleston to an extra part where you tell us which shape other men are
I was going to comment this
I think he must be a dramatic. He's very long, lean and yang dominant. He's got thin lips and taught skin
Yeah he's definitely a dramatic. His eyes are also almond shaped and his features are quite severe.
I agree that he's a dramatic!
Thank you!
This was way easeir than the females, and thus I think I finally figured out my female type. I think I'm still slightly too soft for the Soft Dramatic, so I'm a flaboyant natural even though i don't really have muscle definition
Amazing video, thank you! I would also like video about how different body types move and pose. You mentioned that in your Kim Kardashian body type-video. (Sorry for my English, I'm not native speaker.)
Yes, please!
@Ana J She's not saying we need use Kim Kardashian as an example
@@northstar2621 yes! I would love to see a video on this and I think a lot of people did as well.
Rugged is the word not brutal.
Pronounced RUg-ed, rhymes with bug.
You loved making this video! We loved watching! ;)
I think brutal works here. Coarse, sensual, like an animal, unrefined, rugged, unpolished.
@@celeritas2-810 When I hear the word brutal I think someone who abuses women I don't like that word. A brutal attack on a woman is savage. A rugged man can still show tenderness a brutal man is an animal.
@@mepalker English is not her primary language, and all of us understand the context of the video. I don't think it's necessary to try and lure a battle of words 😉.
@@njc1304 In many if her videos she looks for word suggestions. The comments are given with kindness. Think of it as talking to someone with green food on their teeth. Would you not kindly let them know? I love this young lady!
@@mepalker my apologies, it's hard to interpret tone in comments. I agree with you that constructive criticism is important. A lot of people though (generally speaking) cross that line and are openly nasty. I remember in one of her videos, people got heated over something irrelevant, sort of stealing the spotlight of great information.
I get so much asmr from your videos
Girls are happy. So many handsome guys)))
lightpinkchemistry Yep. Anyway, I love to look at beautiful women also.
@lightpinkchemistry
All girls are attracted to men! Even lesbians get attracted to men but prefer sex with women because women are more delicate
geminilicious is it crack? is it crack that you smoke?
@@tiku9037 nah, they probably smoke origano.
@@tiku9037 .Lesbians no,but the overwhelming majority of women are attracted to men.
I love this! I‘m still not sure if my boyfriend is a Pure Dramatic or Flamboyant Natural when listening to your description, though. I am sure he is not the other types even if you didn’t go through them yet.
He’s tall (almost 2 meters), is naturally lean and a bit skinny which makes him dry and has a very long vertical line, but he still carries a lot of angularity in his features because of his sharpness and straight-ness and fair amount of muscle like arms and abs. He has a clear V line which indicates FN. His brow is horizontal, he has a straight and tapered nose. He is masculine but with a very refined, elegant and calm aura. His only soft features are his lips which are bit full but very proportionate and his nose which is a bit wide.
I am a Soft Classic and people often tell us we look good together and a bit alike.
Very interested to see Part 2... my husband has a bigger butt/ muscular thighs but is still very broad shouldered so I am curious to see if he fits in one of these!
I've been trying to apply this concept to men for some time now on my own, it's great to have some guidance.
Side note: you look so much like your mum in this video!!
I don't understand why 'long' men are more yang than men who are tall and also have wide shoulders. Aren't wide shoulders a masculine/yang trait?
If you look at how George Clooney looks in casual vs formal clothes, he's some form of classic.
9:57
Harrison Ford staring into your soul
I'm theatrical romantic and my husband is soft natural.
Thank you so much for taking the time to research and present this information Aly.
You are a gem!
It would be great if you could make another video for male body types :)
Thank you for this Aly, I can’t watch right now but I’ve been searching for weeks to see if they exist and I’m excited to see what you say.
When she says “juicier”🤤🤤
You could also categorize body types using the categories, ectomorph, endomorph and mesomorph .
I really want to help my husband's sense of style, and I'm hoping you do a lot more of these videos for men to help me out!
You save my closet, i watch your videos over again, and again. Thank you XO
I’m a bit confused about one thing regarding the male version of the theory. Since it is based on the energy a man radiates hence more masculine or feminine, I was left with the impression that men with dryer looks have more Yan energy. At the same time I know men with sharp faces who may be also tall and muscular but their muscles are very very dry; you can tell from just looking at them, that they are not as masculine as some much fleshier men. I agree the kind of men I talk about often have quite narrow bone structure but would they be considered dramatic? And one more question - is it only possible to determine the body type of a man after he has fully matured because some boys keep very fleshy, boyish faces until they are not a few years into their 20s? I feel like you can tell pretty accurately the body type of a girl even if she is still maturing in puberty. Maybe it’s because women don’t experience as dramatic change as men do when turning from children to adults?... love how much thought and work you put in your videos, Ali! It definitely shows! 😊 Keep the good work! Lots of love xx 💕
Kibbe is not about energy, he's about lines. Long and angular is yang, short and rounded is yin. There doesn't have to be a certain type of energy there.
Olga P that is maybe a bit better put, haha thank you! Makes sense
This is so educational. I'm trying to type my friend here!
Hi Aly, you absolately did read my mind! I was planning to suggest you to do body types series for men. Thanks to you, I learned how to wear. I wanted to learn something for my husband and you already thought it! You are such an aware and beautiful woman!! Good luck!
Thank you so much for this video! I was one of the people asking for this and your explanations made it so much easier for me to spot the distinctive features in men... Can't wait for part 2!
Whew this is so interesting! I was always drawn to men with that mixture between a soft and masculine look leaning more torwards softer features, which is pretty much ... me 😂
Body type series are what we want 😍😍😍😍 greetings from El Salvador 😘😘😘
Hi ally, can you do a wedding dresses for the body types ?
Still cant tell if my bf is SD or FN 😄
I wish Aly would match designer aesthetic with body type - IMO, Donna Karan is soft dramatic for women, flamboyant natural for men, Calvin Klein is dramatic/soft dramatic for women, dramatic for men, Armani is dramatic for women, flamboyant natural/dramatic for men, Chanel is gamine, Nina Ricci is romantic, Versace is dramatic for men and women, D&G is romantic for women, dramatic for men, Celine ( Phoebe Philo ) was dramatic, YSL for women is sooooo dramatic, Oscar De La Renta, Caroline Herrera are classic and I haven't the faintest idea what Gucci is now ( after Tom Ford ( who is dramatic for men and women for his own label, at Gucci I think he was dramatic/soft dramatic for women, dramatic for men ) I think street wear just ignores all body types by covering your body shape. They obviously never heard of Kibble. I wonder why designers don't choose models based on body type to fit their aesthetic, eg Coco Chanel herself was gamine, I think, and she made her brand for her own body type.
Sounds like you need to make a video analysis of this. I would love to see something like that.
Aly, you're such a joy to learn from! So eloquent and kind. Love your videos!!
I love this idea! It makes it even clearer what yin and yang stand for and how it manifests itself. Keep 'em coming :)
Thankyou so much for posting this ! Been watching you for so long and as a male i’m happy i can finally find my body type !:)
I think Chris Pratt might be an example of a pure natural
bbh i thought so too but sometimes he looks like a flamboyant natural which made me think he was a pure natural, like in guardians of the galaxy I thought he almost looked FN
categories covered in this video:
default Dramatic
"soft" Dramatic
"flamboyant" Natural
"soft" Natural
Can we *really* rule out Burt Lancaster as a "flamboyant" Natural??
I can’t wait for part 2! Currently trying to type my bf but I don’t think we’ve covered his type yet. Thanks for doing this video I’ve been curious about this for so long 😁
Some od the dramatics habe also balanced features and look also classic to me....everything depends on perspective-the more you see, the more you will recognize- to me 100% does not exist- everone is different and a type for itself
You probably didn't find many Naturals because David Kibbe no longer uses this type (or Classic or Gamine), at least for women. Great video, now trying to figure out what my husband is.
Omg Aly thank you so much! I really enjoy your content ❤️ since I'm really interested in styling men, I really liked this video! Thank you!
Thank you!
Thank you!
ALY, I tend to like and prefer a shorter man, strong and lean. Someone like Paul Newman or Yul Brynner, a man with slim hips and naturally small. Hopefully that will be in part 2? THX!
LOVE THIS! Can't wait for part two!
That was awesome! So much info about guys body types...this will help women dress their dudes when we gotta buy them stuff😂💗💗💗
This is so exciting! I love seeing these so much
I love it. I had my dad pegged as a SN immediately based on this, and my brother as a Dramatic.
I've been looking up body types for men for some time, and I think I know some naturals: Jon Hamm and Jon Krasinki. It's not alot but I hope it helps. Also, some other body types I know are thomas brodie-sangster (gamine), daniel radcliffe and elijah wood (flamboyant gamines), and jack black (soft gamine).
edit: ive been thinking about marlon brando for some time and i think he is probably soft natural but might be classic. i may not be right about that though...
Thank you men need this kind of Help!!!!
Very interesting, I didn't expect some of them to be on the Dramatic side, actually it is very hard to tell what body type men have, comparing to women. Difference between Dramatic and Flamboyant Natural is pretty small for me. I thought Sean Connery is a Natural more. Thank you, waiting for second part!
Your videos are amazing and you are extremely beautiful. Kisses from Romania
Aly is it possible to make a video on every different male body type fashion (what looks good what not etc) ? I think that would be very interesting aswell! Also because I’m trying to understand what body type by bf is XD
It's interesting that Brad Pitt is a natural and so are Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Anniston
Brad Pitt seems FN, Angelina Jolie is probably FN or Soft Dramatic. Jennifer Aniston, I think, she is N.
I noticed that a lot of the naturals look good in a beard.
6:37 “juicer” 😋😋 he’s defo a snack
What do you think Michael Fassbender would be? When you described flamboyant natural that’s who I thought of
