Fab! Your blue paper pulling left a moist thumb print, phnarr 😉😂 I’m working on my first bezel - just as big (a wee over ambitious) and one little torch! It somehow soldered 😊 Just polishing before setting the stone.
What gauge bezel wire did you use? I am about to take the next step and use silver and soldering for my jewelry. Thank you for sharing your early attempts! Every other video I see has highly experienced people demonstrating techniques, which makes it look more daunting. Your video makes it seem more accessible. Thank you!
I watch a lot of UA-cam videos but you’re literally the only one I press ‘like’ for when asked! Hope it helps 😀 Anyway great video, it was Gomeow that started me on rings so funny you should mention him.
Helpful inspirational video, thank you. I have one of those saws. They really are superb. I have seen other videos where people have pierced a pattern in the back, which makes removing the stone easier, if you need to do so while fitting it. My inclination would be to put the pendant face down in the ultra-sonic cleaner, so debris between the bazel and stone can drop out easily. I look forward to watching your next video.
Great job. I just got an excellent deal on 6 Sam Silverhawk cabochons and didn't know the first thing about making jewelry. What type of torch is that? I mean what does it burn? Acetylene, Propane, ?
Great video! very motivating for the inspiring silversmith newbs :) Were the back edges of the stone completely flat/sharp? I've got a couple of cabochons that I cut and polished with a slightly curved and tapered edge on the back of the stone... I think this makes it a bit tricky to wrap the bezel silver around them doesn't it?
I'm just starting out and I found your video so refreshing, and helpful😊
Great job, great energy, great human being ❤😊
Very entertaining and helpful. Love your laid back approach. I'm just trying to start and it can seem overwhelming at times

YOU ARE SO THOROUGH! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Lovely tutorial. Love your art
Nice looking pendant! Maybe try a dimpled bezel next time. It might be more forgiving... Or frustrating, lol.
I think it came out awesome!
awesome pendant
Thanks for the motivation man.

That’s a good idea with placing the pendant face down :)
Looks good to me.

Thank you :) The back of the cabochon was flat (maybe slightly rounded over edges on the back). It definitely helps with setting the stone in the cup.
Great video! I'm a beginner silversmith and I wanted to know where you buy your chain.
Hey! Cooksongold.com is where I get most of my silver stuff.
@@ZebranoWoodCraft What style chain is this?
I love it! So much!
You had my sub before you finished your intro
You forgot to stamp it and make up your logo stamp.
To much noise.... Man 😇
