I got bored.
I learned on Reddit board that if you have old round or yoke wheel configuration with confusing horn position, you can ask Tesla to replace it with new horn in center with air bag , and they will replace free.
I've heard they'll only do it if it's showing signs of wear
@@RobertRosenfeld1 According to Reddit forum, the position of the horn while turning wheel, as you know, is problematic, and considered a safety issue. There are some rumors that there will be a mandatory recall on it, and Tesla is aware. So some customers have asked Tesla to replace it to the new wheel with horn in center. Tesla has replaced for free. It does not appear Tesla will make this aware to the general public yet. But based on what I've read on Reddit Tesla owners forum, that's what's going on. Do I get a special prize for making this aware to you? Just kidding... I have a model X manufactured date 12/21/2023 (i'm not sure if I can consider that a 2003 or 2004 Model X?), I would like to trade in the older round wheel that I have for the newer yolk steering wheel.

When it comes to actual smart summon. I’ve tested it over 28 times in a busy parking lot for a few hours and found it worked very well every time. It can hiccup for a second but it figures it out safely and quickly

You can also associate the phone key to the phone. Do this in the key option associate phone with phone key.
This way which ever person opens the driver door becomes the driver and their phone is connected

Thanks, great video as usual. I found the 3rd party Tessie and Commander apps the most useful. I recently bought Watchla for $7.99 - one time purchase, to let me unlock Tesla if I don't have my iPhone or Tesla Card for my model 3. I like the buttons you got and the dial too. But for a friend that does not have full self driving on a new model Y I will tell them about Commander for sure. I have full self driving and bought back in 2018 when it was $5,000. Take care

the most simple thing that every "smart" car has tesla doesn't let us to connect our android or iphone to get carplay or android auto, the maps from tesla are the worst, tells you a 20min drive, then you open waze and gets you 40min exactly because of the traffic..

I try the smart summons at a Walmart parking lot and gave me a message. Cannot use in public areas. But it worked at my house and my local playground park. 🤷🏽♀️
how do you get the full screen visualisation? i have a 2021 m3lr
Does your car have Intel or AMD Ryzen chip? if its Intel you wont get the visualization full screen.

I've used ass at home Depot, Walmart and grocery store. It has worked like buttttaaaa. Each time. The only issue I've had is that it sometimes lags a bit at the end of the summon . Most of the time it doesn't get close enough to the curb when it pulls up to you. Sometimes it is a bit into lane. But other than that. Perfect even with a bunch of cars and people there. I'm probably a bit crazy to use this in traffic but that is what it is designed for right lol. Hopefully i dont regret it.
Robert, good info - But my Tesla mobile app before updating, & after updating app, either way would not let me drag more than four shortcut icons. Still can’t figure out how you got the fifth one in there. Mine keeps trying to replace one of the four.. Arggg !!

How about a video about why music streaming services i.e. Apple Music that provide lossless quality music files over 5g in all Apple CarPlay set ups. Tesla only provides lossy music music files when playing through the Tesla app provided for Apple Music or Tidal
Rumor has it lossless is coming to Apple Music in an update. Maybe before end of the year
