- Unboxing a Netgear powerline adaptor and setup. This was used to run internet from my house to a disconnected garage to the second floor. It did work fine for me. The adapters pick a plug led flashes red sometimes, but I have not noticed any negative effects while it flashes.
Thanks man the video was very helpful
Thank you, I ordered a set of these on eBay but did not receive any instructions....this helped to get me up and running in no-time. Thanks again.
10:00 Most vital part!!!
Thank you for this video. It was very helpful.
Video starts at 6:02
Thanks lol
I know the video is old, but thanks brother! Helped out alot, router’s in the basement, gaming desktop upstairs, this helped out alot, this and your video!
What happens if the power goes out ?
@@nelsonmadrigal2462 they both reset after it turns on again
Thank you! Showed me exactly what I needed
Very helpful video 👍 u just gained a new subscriber :)
Thx bro really helped a lot I will subscribe
Jesus christ you took your time..
Thank you so much you were way more helpful than the tech support and you saved me so much more time!!!
You can also plug-in a switch on the other side
Keep in mind people, i have this item and it works like a charm....BUT!!! when you first use it, plug them both in and DO FACTORY DEFAULT RESET FIRST!!! the lil black button you have to push underneath. Hold that button down for 3 seconds then release. Then do the wifi sync!!!
@Ticked off Terrance What i mean is when u first plug it in, all three lights will come on, but it should only be two. Thats why u gotta do the factory reset first then proceed
@Ticked off Terrance No doubt my brotha!! Just trying to share the information
Ok do you have to it the reset for both of the boxes or just one ?
hello I would like an update. is it working good on your console or pc? any lag?
thx for sharing
Very helpful
thanks for the video
You did not announce what internet speed you were paying. Was it dsl or slow cable? Definitely not fiber.
ty for this video
Thanks
does this work as good as a wired ethernet connection?
Thank you so much
How long is the one it comes with
Is it normal that my ethernet led flashes fast and goes solid and it repeats this
Which port of the router did you insert into? Is it a LAN port or WAN port?
Lan
giddy-up!
Can you use three?
You can use up to 20 brother, it says right on the box (but sold separately)
Can you only use one?
the most important thing is the speed of the intranet ... not the internet ...
My download speeds are the same😐
Same waste of money
I just set it up and I tried doing it with my dad and I didn’t work but is soon as I did it I got them all green and I’m loading up my game now to see how Watch ping I get
hello. I would like an update. How was it on your game? laggy? trash? or good
@@cestgum7672 the gaming is so great. Much better than wireless
@@Mdavid856 does it ever lag spike
@@nelsonmadrigal2462 hardly have any issues. Glad I've bought this.
Stop yelling at me gosh
This Powerline is shit I bought it I pay for 200mbps from my actual broadband company and this Powerline only does 16mbps but when I first bought it it done 200? Don’t buy this Powerline it’s so bad
What would you recommend?
First, it's megabits, not megabytes (small b is bits, capital B is bytes). Second, your internet speed is SLOOOOOOW!
Jacob Scace Thanks for the correction. Also I am aware that my internet is slow. This wasn’t a technical in depth video on the binary number system. Only to show how to use the powerline adapter for those who don’t want to use an extender and cut their bandwidth in half.
Jacob Scace Sorry not everyone is as privileged to have super fast internet like you smh.
So it's not wireless
Wireless give you trash connection, trust me.
You should practice your script at least once dude.
Thanks for the advice.
9:37 you litteraly have an ethernet pluggin
It’s a telephone jack RJ11/12. Not ethernet that is RJ45.
@@geronimovision2912 correct
why does he talk so slow
You shouldn't make videos about something that you don't understand.
