@@Experiment78-1I’d say Voltide makes sense. First, you’ve got the arms, legs and tail of a kangaroo, complete with jumping ability. Second, Water-typing is the BEST for an Aussie-themed monster, since all the major cities are coastal on account of the inland being effectively uninhabitable and as such, there is no such thing as an Australian who can’t swim. Third, while a snake might be more fitting considering we have some of the most venomous in the world (Death Adder, Taipan, King Brown, etc.) we also have some notable lizards like the bearded dragon or the goanna. Or maybe I’m looking at it wrong and it’s a fish (the end of its tail IS that of a fish after all), in which case there’s a type of Lungfish found in Australia and the costal point gets reused. Not sure the electricity makes any sense, but it looks cool and prevents the creature from being pure Water-type, which I appreciate.

Pokémon designs haven’t gotten worse. In my opinion better overall though gen 9 particularly was a bit lacking. The first few gens are full of the most basic often not even very well designed fantasy monsters. With Gen 5 we got a hint of deeper Pokemon based on the actual region they’re from, and Gen 6 did it with over half. By Gen 8 every single Pokemon can be made into an at least 10 minute long analysis video on why they are what they are and none aren’t unique. Even the ones that people make fun of (flamigo, Trubbish, Dudunsparce) aren’t lazy. Just like think about it for a little bit. Dunsparce evolving into a big crazy dragon is the most basic idea ever. Dunsparces whole concept is that it sucks at everything. Flamigo is literally just a living lawn flamingo. Its name sells the idea that it’s a joke pokemon. I do the same with my fakemon. One of mine is basically a ball of paint with a face. Making them all super cool and very unique designs isn’t unique, it’s actually boring and samey. It’s not really my own opinion here, just good design. You can’t have a Pokémon game without the joke Pokemon and the stupid ones that exist to be stupid.
@@RGamingBlastoise Turns out, that's a big part of what I meant when I said they don't look like Pokemon to me 😅 I can see alot of these working as Mega's and Legendaries, but outside of that, these designs feel a bit too detailed and "badass" to be Pokemon. The designs themselves are wonderful but if you tried to make an entire generation out of them, there would be way too many "look at me" designs which previous generations never prioritized. In fact, the reason their ooler designs stand out so much is because the standard pokemon of that generation aren't visually trying to compete with them. So to me, most of these incredible designs don't look like something the Pokemon Company would ever actually do outside of very limited slots in a generation's rosters. We might get like 5-10 of these at most. Any more than that and it feels like a fan fiction 😅
What actually made me laugh is it continue with the legendary with types that dosnt fit, I mean is a fire moth that for some reason is psyquic. To be fair the blue butterfly and moths are also iconic from the country, it's the reason why it's so biodiverse, it is the legendary so it probably picks the most eye catching trait from the country. *Pokedex activates* "Marimelody, the Primordial Oceanic Fairy Pokemon. -Marimelody was once worshipped by people of the Philippines as the goddess of the fairies and water creatures alike. They say if you are worthy and sincerely pray to Marimelody, not only will Marimelody grant you a singing voice that will last through generations but also enhances your affinity with both water and fairy pokemons. Marimelody only appears every few years and everytime, she unintentionally either brought disaster like a tsunami and storm to the islands or an abundant of seafood for the taking. Marimelody is also the inspiration for the Primier Ball design as the person who'd seen Marimelody considered the legendary pokemon sighting a celebratory occasion. The green glowing orbs the Primier ball let's out is inspired by the multiple fairy glows that Marimelody releases when Marimelody is conveying her emotions through beautiful music. The latest sighting of this legendary pokemon shows a primier ball being worn like brooch causing pokemon researchers to speculate that someone tried catching Marimelody with a Primier ball but failed. It seems Marimelody liked this kind of pokeball as Marimelody wear it still to this day. It is also believed that Kyogre and Marimelody has a connection with each other based on an ancient tablet now displayed in the National Pokemon Museum of the Philippines (NPMP)." I had to. 4:14 I'm Jamaican. Our national bird is the humming bird so I'm glad that Electrovine is somewhat of a flying creature. But I was really expecting for the Pokemon to at least part water type because Jamaica is originally known as the land of wood and water. And with the plenty of bush here, I would have expected at least grass typing as well. But still looks really cool for a Jamaican Pokémon design!
The german one is actually incredibly smart in concept. Teutonix is a combination of: - the Teuton germanic tribe or the Teutoburg Forest, where germanic tribes united to beat the Romans in what could be considered the first resemblance of German identity. -phoenix, a bird that is reborn from ashes, comparable to Germany after WW2. (the old eastern german national anthem is literally called "risen from ruins") The design resembles the Reichs-/Bundesadler (federal eagle), the symbol of the german government as well as the nation as a whole. The eagle in general has huge significance to the german identity. You can sorta see the colors of black, red and gold in the design, just like the flag The typing also makes sense, as Germany has worldwide renown for both its industry/engineering (steel), as well as it's contribution to arts and academia (psychic)
Yeah, making the Reichsadler the legendary pokemon of germany is a really cool idea. In general I am really impressed on how fitting most of the AI pokemon are
All of these designs were great, well done AI. Maybe the England one should have had more of a lion-like look. I agree with the overall England monster shape though. England has the three lions in its football logo. Wales is an obvious one, Wales should have a red dragon-like monster.

@@Sentinellarossonera Well, I think they are AI generated. Also, a lot are probably not that well represented when you think about it. USA could have been similar to a bald eagle, etc...
That would have actually been dope maybe like a fusion between a Unicorn and a Kelpy with Water fairy type, infact you could have even had a nessie one aswell and had a Water Dragon type which would have been dope

Well considering there are folklorical forest creatures that are on/use fire (Curupira, Boitatá, Mula-sem-cabeça), ain’t nothing strange 😂

Yep it’s the Amazon forest in fire, btw they could have made a spix macaw, the Mula-sem-cabeça, boitata, bumba-meu-boi and another

2:55 I'm from Ethiopia, and this looks amazing, but since Lions are our national animal, you should've asked the AI to make it a lion or something.
And since we are known for our dark maned lions, you should've made the pokemon a dark maned lion, and made the lion a dark type and ground type. Amazing, though!!!!!
I don't know. My country would have also been a lion if that was the case. I kind of like that the AI didn't, at least we get some fresh Pokémon and not predictable ones.

I think some of them look very similar to shadow of the colossus, princess monoke creatures kinda vibe
No way man, they are at least so much better than pokemon designers are doing last few decade
They look like Pokemon.
@@RGamingBlastoise Turns out, that's a big part of what I meant when I said they don't look like Pokemon to me 😅
I can see alot of these working as Mega's and Legendaries, but outside of that, these designs feel a bit too detailed and "badass" to be Pokemon.
Philippines as water fairy I like it! An island surrounded by water and believed lots of mythical stories as we grow up! Nice

1:57 in Costa Rica we also have a lot of beaches, forests, rivers, lakes and mountains. A Grass Water type would also fit. Nice and cool video.
What actually made me laugh is it continue with the legendary with types that dosnt fit, I mean is a fire moth that for some reason is psyquic. Another thing is I really dont know from what thing the Aitook inspiration to create a moth, I mean a volcano pokemon, a sloth pokemon or even a macaw work better than this 😂😂
Creo que el tipo y el nombre tal vez se refieran al anillo de fuego, como tenemos volcanes y insectos a la vez... No estoy seguro porque el tipo psíquico... Tal vez porque es muy saico?
@@felipealvarado8801the bug does make sense, it is at the psychic that I am lost. I think it's fire like a monarch? Maybe it's lore is that it travels and eating it is dangerous? I can't think of any fire things on Costa Rica though...
To be fair the blue butterfly and moths are also iconic from the country, it's the reason why it's so biodiverse, it is the legendary so it probably picks the most eye catching trait from the country. Then again a sloth, Hummingbird or Tucan would have been more representative.
@@houndrysmagolyteofhope4661 legalmente mae, no lo entiendo, osea una mariposa monarca si o mariposas tal vez, pero el tipo fuego y psíquico esta raro por donde lo vea xd

It is also believed that Kyogre and Marimelody has a connection with each other based on an ancient tablet now displayed in the National Pokemon Museum of the Philippines (NPMP)."

I have to admit Nigeria's umbrablade looks so dope! I also love Voltaroar as a Ghanaian and it takes the volta River as inspiration specifically that it is used to channel electricity for the country.
These are really fun! Some of them kinda leave something to be desired with the names. It’d be really fun to work with Pokemon fans (or just people) from the countries to see if you can come up with names that are puns in the language or something.
4:14 I'm Jamaican. Our national bird is the humming bird so I'm glad that Electrovine is somewhat of a flying creature. Hungary basically just getting Valstrax as their Pokemon is pretty gnarly.
(the old eastern german national anthem is literally called "risen from ruins")
The design resembles the Reichs-/Bundesadler (federal eagle), the symbol of the german government as well as the nation as a whole. The eagle in general has huge significance to the german identity.
You can sorta see the colors of black, red and gold in the design, just like the flag
The typing also makes sense, as Germany has worldwide renown for both its industry/engineering (steel), as well as it's contribution to arts and academia (psychic)
Do you know by any chance, if the symbols on its wings have any specific meaning or if they were just randomly put there by the AI?
Yeah, making the Reichsadler the legendary pokemon of germany is a really cool idea. In general I am really impressed on how fitting most of the AI pokemon are
