The '90s were a good decade for music, imo. Most of the 1980s pissed me off, with all the commercialism and Thatcherism. Ska and Punk and the developing of Indie was good, but by and large chart music after about 1982 was just annoying, and metal and heavy rock wasn't getting on the radio or TV due to a kind of centrist stranglehold at the BBC and the limited number of channels. The breakthrough was about 1989 with the Seattle and Manchester sounds, and after that distorted guitars could get on radio and TV and really flowered in the market. Guitar bands getting into the charts instead of endless manufacturd boy and girl bands and performers distinguished by their ability to dance rather than play an instrument. So I loved a lot of what came out in the 1990s, including vastly impressive acts like Radiohead and Jeff Buckley. And then around 2001, the New Wave revival hit, which was awesome as a fan of the original New Wave of 1979-'81. Still adore Bloc Party, Keiser Chiefs, Futureheads, all that stuff.

Aerosmith live is always an experience. I saw them live sometime approximately 1986 at what used to be called the Worcester Centrum (Worcester, Massachusetts) and Steve Tyler's acrobatics (both physical and vocal) were Amazing. I went to see Aerosmith in concert in Atlanta, Georgia U.S.A. about six years. The final song was Dream On. He was lifted from underneath the stage with a baby grande piano. Best concert I have ever been to. He must be taking care of himself because he sounded amazing.

Rebecca, I adore watching your videos. Your passion for singing shines through in every video. If you haven't already done it, I think you would really enjoy the cover of Creep done by Carrie Manolakos at Le Poisson Rouge in Greenwich Village. I'm not a fan of covers in general, but I think this one is on the same level as Eva Cassidy's cover of Over the Rainbow.
The Last Action Hero Soundtrack is pure awesomeness! Not a single bad track. AC/DC, Alice in Chains, Tesla, Aerosmith, Megadeth, Anthrax, Cypress Hill, Queensryche..
You used to see him walking around Portland, Maine, USA a lot. Sometimes he was really cool other times you know he just wanted to be left alone, but he was still cool about the way he would interact with his fans.

Steven and the boys live is an entire education. My very first concert was Aerosmith when I was 16 years old, & aside from the fact that Steven was my first kiss because he was kissing all the girls in the front rows, just hearing them live at all with all the charisma you talked about (which he has loads), really does hit you square, I haven't recovered yet. And I'm in my 40s now.
I think Ronnie's cover with Rainbow doing the Deep Purple song "Mistreated" did the same....took it to another level. Ronnie can do that. Another vocal coach "UA-camr" said it was one of the best performance that he had ever seen.
I feel Yngwie's instrumentation was incredible, but I'm kinda underwhelmed by Ronnie's treatment of the part with the high notes. Obviously he didn't have to go for Steven's crazy presentation, but it felt like the momentum dropped when he could have used that build-up to absolutely dominate the song.
There you are! I told you I'd be on your videos soon. It was great seeing you on FB the other day when I woke up. Thanks for the well-wishes and I am so happy to see this! Hope all is well with you, love, keep it up.

I love your enthusiasm and your passion for his singing. You got really excited and that's wonderful. Also you are looking very good as usual. Great job
This is the song that made me forever fall in love with rock and roll when I was 12.
Props to you for choosing the best live version of this song to ever be recorded
Aerosmith should would have crushed a Bond song eh? This is as close as we'll get to that. . .
Sometimes he was really cool other times you know he just wanted to be left alone, but he was still cool about the way he would interact with his fans.
his newer stuff, Gypsy Girl and others are incredible. So is Sedona Sunrise. Another Last Goodbye
The fluffy chair combined with the shirt makes it look like you have angel wings 🥺🥺
When you said "English people don't usually allow themselves to get like this" I immediately thought of the cut scene from family guy 'english porn'
Always thought Rebecca was Scottish.
@@stanimirivanov4052 nope lol
This band is the epitome of rock n roll. Nice to see simeone who gets as excited as I do when i listen to these guys.
You seemed so excited during this song 😊 Steven effect ? 😉
Yeah bebe
@@rva
Nice 😊. Thank you for the French word « Bebe » 😍
At least you picked one of the best performances of it. Iconic doesn't even begin to describe this.
Also you ever notice that steven tyler sounds like he looovvveesss and learnes a lot from Wilson pickett? Hes anothner monster voice. Wilson pickett is smooth.
It's definitely there, as well as Janis Joplin and Little Richard.
I so enjoy a video like this where you're a fan of the artist and your excitement and enthusiasm shine throughout the performance. I find these to be my favorites.
Such a fangirl with Tyler!
I am so glad you did a reaction to Aerosmith and especially this song. Your analysis is spot on and you’re beautiful as always. Wish i had a vocal teacher like you when i was young. RVA, you Rock!
Very kind! Thank you
❤Thank You Coach!❤ #Neverstopsinging
Have a nice weekend, You Beautiful "thing" 😙 like said...The Troggs- Wild Thing
Wild thing, you make my heart sing
You make everything groovy, wild thing
Wild thing, I think I love you
But I wanna know for sure…💝
Thanks honey
I love how awesome this song sounds whether its 1970 and just the guys or its 40 yrs later playing with a full orchestra!!
I was at this show they played this 11 times before they got the right take
Steven and the boys live is an entire education.
Would love to see you react to "Love Reign O'er Me" by The Who. Roger Daltrey's vocal performance on that song is one of the greatest in rock history.
Great suggestion. Absolutely fantastic song.
Good suggestion, but I would also like to see a reaction to The Seeker.
I love your expressions and emotions to these things, you know and love your music too.
Please have a look at Manowar. Eric Adams is a fantastic vocalist.
Especially on songs like Gates of Valhalla, Secrets of Steel, Hail and Kill and many more.
wow, never imagined someone here would invoke Manowar, but YES!!!
Oh yeah! Adams is often overlooked because of "mAnoWar bAd" but he is one of the best vocalists I've heard.
@@pascalschulz5894 - to me he's solid, but the real gem of the band imho is Joey DeMaio on bass
Brothers everywhere, Raise your hands into the air, We're warriors, Warriors of the world!
The Bloodstock Open Air anthem. :D
I could just listen to your voice on repeat all day long
I recommend that you now listen to this song covered by Ronnie James Dio. he takes the song to a level that only HE ever could.
never knew he covered it - off to find it now
He just sang the song calmer......
I think the music in that version was better. Great cover
03:06 very good technique
Ive heard this song for as long as I can remember, I watched this live and felt like I had never heard it before
When ya look up "Rock vocalist". Its wrapped in Tyler's scarves🤘 p.s. love your love for music
I’ve seen Aerosmith 5 times live. Major fan here. 😎❤️🇺🇸
You should react to Allen Stone - Unaware. He's such a talented vocalist.
The live from his mother's living room version!
I love your reactions, and how genuine they are
Steve just makes music sound sexy I think.
This is the best version ever - glad someone reviewing/reacting used this version.
When you said,"English people like to be contained" I chuckled. I'm not English but coming from an extended family where social cues are taught before you begin kindergarten, I can relate. Great reaction☺
I did get to see them in an outdoor concert. We were so far away! Lol But out of the blue this stage appeared right the frick in front of us and they played 2 songs before retreating to original stage. Freaking awesome!!
Love the band and Dream On is one of rock's all time greatest signature songs!
Esta es la reaccion que queria ver de ti . La voz de este hombre es unica en su clase y genero , su falsete es genial
